Top Rated Anima Alternatives

Anima has been extremely helpful in making my portfolio website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't found downsides so far using the app. I would say maybe more advertising would be good because I hasn't heard of Anima before actively searching for a product like it, and neither had my fellow students. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes there was a misunderstanding between our designers and engineers, and it took hours-even days-to translate the designs into code. The process was laborious and characterized by some errors. Now it only takes a few minutes to export our design to Anima, and generates a clean code that is ready to be used. Surprisingly, the resulting code is clean, semantic and optimized for search engine optimization (SEO). I can’t stop mentioning how easy it is to build modern applications thanks to the integration with other tools like React and Vue.js. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Creating some components that can be used again and again can be a challenge. We spent a little time learning how to use them correctly, but after that things were much simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a student, finding a simple website builder that I can easily/quickly understand and build quickly (and freely) are the most important factor to me and Anima has been capable of meeting my needs. Setting up Anima to work with Figma is smooth and easy with the program taking you everywhere you need to go and you only need to accept a couple of connections between Figma and Anima. I mention this specifically because I had tried 4 other website publishing extensions in Figma, with all of them getting stuck at some point when connecting with Figma, not even allowing me to properly connect the two, so seeing Anima work its magic was such a wave of relief.
The customization options included are so unbelievably easy to use as well. To be honest, I was a little shocked that a couple of features in Anima, like having a button expand as you hover over it, had no way to be replicated in the basic Figma application, so picking up the Anima picking up Figmas slack is greatly appreciated.
Installing those customization options was so easy as well. Coming from frustration from other, more mainline website builders god awful glitch-riddled interfaces had me a bit worried that I would have spent an entire night messing with all the buttons just so they could expand smoothly without getting in the way of anything but it was just the click of a button, allowing me to get it done in less than an hour.
Customer service, while not 24/7, while they are on is quick, nice, professional, and helpful. One feature they have with their customer support that I have not seen many others do is having an ETA for when they will be back to help you, allowing more ease for you to shift your focus on other problems until they return. One of the more frustrating parts about Anima is communicating what is included in the free version, and what is locked behind a paywall. The payment options give you a general overview of what you can expect to unlock by upgrading but they do not give you the full list, one of the things on those lists being that you cannot update the live site more than once while only using the free version, and that was not communicated to me. Can add media, text interactive feature, easy responsiveness and easy code access Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you prototype, the preview is only visible when we run it through the plugin and not through figma. I want to see the edis through figma preview as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that it offers elements that can be transported to code immediately. its also very easy to use and implement things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am having issues seeing the submit button actually working, but I see other elements doing great besides that, and I am in contact with help for the button. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to export a full page flow was very useful to our work, and the ability to customize components using AI personalization was a nice bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being unable to apply the AI personalization function to a full flow the way you can on single pages limits how much customizability you get in your final code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Anima is a great tool for converting Figma files to code (be it react, Vue, html). It actually helped me understand how code works and how I can optimize my design to make it more developer friendly! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It still has some limitations in manipulating the animations or connections used on the figma file Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a student in engineering the service helped me build the website of my dreams and learn a lot in the process of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish the service was a little cheaper for students. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Transparently, while I did not use the app to its full extent, the feature list and interface are awesome. What makes me a fan, is their business ethics and response time to their customers. It's not often you find a company that is fast to respond and quick to give back the money they did not earn. I had a few challenges and they responded as requested. No hassles, kind service, and most importantly; they didn't try to hold on to my money when they saw what had happened. This company is solid. The app is on point. Thanks, Anima!
