9/10 i am dealing with multiple issues from an inefficient booking tool that does not allow the user to book multiple cities, which forces you to call through to their GENERAL call centre (no dedicated agents are assigned to the customers - it's just pick of the litter) from here multitude of challenges, the travel agents work off their own internal system that brings up seats that are assigned to them. It does not display all seats, the customer then has to search direct routes and availability with airlines. From here you provide the exact airline, route and cost to the agent to re-price. All in all it takes a whole day just to do 1 multi city itinerary... it is painful and exhausting.
If I could I would eliminate the middle man (AMEX) and let the assistants do all their travel booking. Much more efficient, less stressful and cost effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
