You need to understand the fundamentals of networking and routes. Some of the naming schemes are a little cryptic but you get used to it. You can also route yourself into a black hole if not careful. Distrubuting my environments, so that DEV doesn't overlap with others. This allows me to grant varying levels of access to different levels of employees.
