What do you like best about Amazon Redshift?

The best part of Amazon redshift is having shared databases amongst my coworkers. It is really easy to add, drop, or edit any tables. I query redshift through data-grip and together they work really well! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Redshift?

I have had some issues with setting up APIs and I have found that it can be more complicated than with other platforms such as Oracle, but overall it has not been too hard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Amazon Redshift solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Redshift for data analysis and database storage. It easily allows us to share data amongst other organizations as well which has been super helpful! Being able to look at the same data set with a partner has been a great benefit Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing I could find. The scale of project which I worked was not in depth use of redshift Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Amazon Redshift?

Amazon Redshift is based upon PostgreSQL and stores data column-based instead of row. It is used for OLAP(Online Analytical Processing) and has a SQL interface for performing queries. BI tools such as AWS quick sight and tableau integrate with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Redshift?

As of now nothing to be disliked for Amazon Redshift, one of the best AWS offerings Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Amazon Redshift solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used Amazon Redshift for Analytics and BI purposes. Its integration with other AWS services(Like S3) and spectrum is a plus.
