"Highly flexible and reliable cloud compute platform"
What do you like best about Amazon EC2?

Amazon EC2 offers unmatched flexibility and scalability for running workloads in the cloud. It supports a wide range of instance types and configurations, making it easy to tailor infrastructure to specific performance and cost requirements. Integration with other AWS services is seamless, and EC2 is reliable for both short-term and long-running workloads. Once familiar with AWS, implementation and ongoing use are straightforward, and it’s a core service we rely on frequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon EC2?

The main downside is complexity for new users. Choosing the right instance types, pricing models, and networking options can be overwhelming. Costs can also grow quickly if resources are not carefully monitored. While AWS support and documentation are strong, troubleshooting sometimes requires deeper platform knowledge. What I like best about Amazon EC2 is its flexibility to quickly launch and scale virtual servers based on workload needs. It offers strong reliability, multiple instance types, and easy integration with other AWS services. The pay-as-you-go pricing model also makes it cost-efficient for both testing and production environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon EC2?

The pricing structure can be complex and sometimes difficult to predict, especially with multiple instance types and add-on services. "Regarding AWS"
What do you like best about AWS Cloud?

I appreciate AWS Cloud for its dependable performance, scalability, and the extensive selection of services it offers. It enables businesses to deploy applications rapidly, eliminating concerns about managing infrastructure. The pay-as-you-go pricing structure is cost-effective, and the robust security features ensure strong data protection. Additionally, AWS provides outstanding global availability and integrates seamlessly with a variety of tools, which enhances both performance and efficiency. What do you dislike about AWS Cloud?

AWS Cloud provides impressive flexibility and a broad selection of services, but navigating the platform can be challenging, particularly for newcomers. The pricing model is often difficult to understand, and expenses can escalate rapidly if resources are not carefully monitored. Furthermore, certain advanced configurations demand significant technical expertise, which can make both setup and ongoing maintenance difficult for smaller teams. "Flexible, Scalable, and Effortless Server Management with Amazon EC2"
What do you like best about Amazon EC2?

What I like best about Amazon EC2 is the flexibility it provides for managing application servers. It is easy to launch, scale, and monitor instances based on application needs. The integration with monitoring tools makes it simple to track instance health, performance, and availability. Using EC2 with load balancers has also helped in handling traffic efficiently and managing certificate renewals smoothly, which reduces manual effort and downtime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon EC2?

One thing I dislike about Amazon EC2 is that cost management can become challenging if instances are not monitored properly. There are many configuration options, which can be overwhelming for new users. Also, some routine tasks like instance optimization and security configurations require careful planning and continuous monitoring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Provision Thousands of Servers in Minutes with Flexible Pay‑As‑You‑Go Scaling"
What do you like best about Amazon EC2?

It allows you to provision thousand of virtual servers in minutes, scaling resources up or down instantly based on demand. This flexbility, combined with a pay as you go model ensures you never overpay for idel hardware or cash during spikes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon EC2?

The main drawbacks is the complexity of cost management. Between on demand, reserved and spot lead instances, pricing becomes confusing and unexpected data transfer fees can lead to sticker shock. Additionally manging security groups and fine tuning instance configuraations requires a steep learing curve for those used to simpler hosting environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Scalable, Cost-Efficient Compute Power with Flexible Options"
What do you like best about Amazon EC2?

AWS EC2 stands out for its scalable compute capacity, making it easy to adjust resources quickly as demand changes. It also provides clear upfront cost information, which helps with budgeting. The platform offers a variety of flexible instance types and pricing models, allowing users to optimize both performance and cost efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon EC2?

EC2 offers a lot of flexibility in choosing instance types, which is a definite advantage. However, it's important to be cautious, as costs can quickly increase if you leave instances running unnecessarily or select an unsuitable pricing model. Additional Operational burden as we need to take care of OS security, patches and configuration etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Go-To Choice for Web Hosting and Scalability"
What do you like best about Amazon EC2?

I value the way Amazon EC2 significantly reduces downtime and eliminates the need for upfront hardware investment, which provides me with a high degree of control and customization over my web hosting services. The scalability of Amazon EC2 is something I appreciate deeply, along with the wide variety of instance types that allow for flexibility to adjust based on our workload requirements. Elastic Load Balancing and Amazon RDS, the managed database service, are excellent for distributing traffic and preventing single instance failures, which adds reliability to the infrastructure. Additionally, integrating Amazon EC2 with tools like CloudWatch for monitoring, S3 for storage, and IAM for access control further enhances its functionality and makes it a well-rounded solution for my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon EC2?

I find instance management with Amazon EC2 can get complex, particularly when it comes to simplifying networking workflows and managing AMI lifecycles more efficiently. Additionally, the pricing structure is often confusing. I would appreciate clearer cost forecasting tools and a better breakdown of data transfer costs. The initial setup was also confusing at first, although I managed to get the hang of it quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
