Like every other AWS managed databases document dB is also wonderful. It is fully managed NOSQL Mongo dB .Like RDS here also I don't need to worry about patches , security,hardware provisioning etc Every thing is managed by AWS. Only one thing I came across while using document dB is it is not serverless. I need to manage the instance used by document dB. It is not like dynamodb. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been a cloud engineer for a year and continue working on AWS as my cloud service provider. One of the best things that I like about AWS is:

1: its easy-to-use UI and one of the best features is its services; AWS provides almost every product and software engineering service.

2:one thing I would like to highlight at the end is its cost is significantly less as compared to other service providers.

3: AWS has more compliance certifications and security-related services than others.

4:AWS has rich documentation and support, making it easy for users to get started and troubleshoot any issues. AWS offers a range of support plans, including 24/7 support for critical issues of its users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1:AWS offers per-hour billing, and the data transmission format is generally encrypted in the case of its competitor; I sometimes feel insecure.

2:One more thing I dislike about AWS takes 15-20 mins to spin up a simple website.

3:AWS is a proprietary platform; once an application is built on AWS, it can be challenging to migrate to another cloud platform, which may limit users' flexibility and increase costs in the long run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

AWS documentDB is very easy to setup and configure JSON doc database.it is highly scalable and can encrypt clusters using keys which is very helpful. During my role as an intern in the company, we implemented the aws document db to store data and scaled it as per the firm requirments. also, it was very consistent, and aws support was beneficial during our project implementation. AWS documented was very useful and performed really well but the main drawback was lack of multi-region support, which AWS can and should fix going forward; other than that, AWS document DB is as good as it can get Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

AWS Document DB is a fully managed DB. Also, it is compatible with Mongo DB. Highly manageable, fault-tolerant and easy to create and destroy the infra as and when needed. I am not satisfied with the updates they are releasing; I have experienced slowness with the new updates. Many features supported by SQL is not supported here which makes it little hard to handle Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
