What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?

Edge locations and seamless integration with S3 as both are properietery part of AWS ecosystem. simply put your website in bucket, make it public and connect it to AWS CloudFront. thats it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?

comparatively a bit costlier then what market competition has to offer, i.e cloudflare being one of the tough competition out there who also provides free SSL certificate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?

saving me bunch of cost as now i can host static website and put it on edge location and make it as fast as possible, it's really opening the gateway to integrate & adopt more frontend frameworks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?

Amazon CloudFront is used chiefly for Content delivery in web applications. Its improves the performance of loading CSS and JS in the browser Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?

The performance of delivering the content to the browser. Also, we can cache so it improves overall performance in terms of loading data in the browser. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?

As I mentioned in the previous question. The best part of Amazon CloudFront is performance. Instead of serving the content from the server we use AWS CloudFront for better performance and caching Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Highly customizable, great feature set, perfect scalability and extensibility Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?

Logging is hard to configure if you do want it. S3 as log storage isn't easy to be processed, while options like firehose is hard to set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?

It acts as both a CDN and a reverse proxy for my company's resources.

It saves us the need to provision extra reverse proxy instances, as well as saving time on setting up a CDN. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?

The simplicity and security provided by CloudFront is the best thing I like about. The service provides a seemeless way to deliver your content across web with a very low latency Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?

Invalidation mechanism is kind of time consuming. Imagine working on a UI application and deploying the build and you need to invalidate it everytime you upload a new build. This is troublesome Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?

Amazon CloudFron solved my content delivery issues over the web. Both my static and dynamic web applications were distributed using CloudFront and it worked like a charm Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
