It makes collecting money during our pledge drives so much easier and less labor intensive. With our previous platform, it would take us several weeks to wrap up a drive. Now it takes us a few days. **What do you dislike about Allegiance?** We can only have a certain number of logins for our account, so not everyone in the company who needs access to the platform gets it. We'd have to pay for additional logins. **Recommendations to others considering Allegiance:** We're very happy with the customer service, although it can lag a bit. If you tell them you're in the middle of a drive, they';; prioritize your request. **What problems is Allegiance solving and how is that benefiting you?** Problems: Simplifying fund drives. Splitting our members into which of our stations they support. Benefits: Connecting Allegiance to Mailchimp to automate. ### 2. From the first demo call to the onsite training session they have provided top notch care. **What do you dislike about Allegiance?** I wish there was enough time in my day to learn every aspect of the Membership program. So this is not a reflect on Allegiance. They have amazing trainers & IT specialists who make learning a breeze! I'm sure I will have it down to a science within a few months. (We're new to the Member portion, but have had Traffic software for awhile). **Recommendations to others considering Allegiance:** Do it. **What problems is Allegiance solving and how is that benefiting you?** Honestly, I will need multiple pages so discuss how much Allegiance is creating a much more efficient work space. One example, is sustaining members can be processed with a few clicks, rather than a 20 step process, which our previous software required. ### 3. There are simple reporting tools, as well as the option for much more complex reports that can consider a great number of fields and aspects. All of the available options can sometimes be difficult to sort through, but the customer service team is so awesome. It is easy to get them on the phone and they are always so eager to help and are very knowledgeable about the program. Most of them will offer right away to screen share and so they can guide your mouse and show you exactly how to do something. It is the best way to learn a program. **What do you dislike about Allegiance?** The thing I dislike the most about Allegiance is the search function. Looking up a donor can be an arduous task if you can't remember the exact name/spelling, or if the name was slightly misspelled when it was put in. It is so far away from the ease and intuitive search features of a program like Google. Even if you are only one letter off when searching for a donor name, it is likely that it won't pull any options that are even close to what you're looking for. As long as you know the exact name and spelling, you won't have issues pulling people up. But if you are hoping to get close enough by searching a similar name, you will likely be searching for a very long time. The search feature does allow you to successfully search with only the first part or first few letters of the name, as long as they are spelled exactly correct. **Recommendations to others considering Allegiance:** The customer support is so good. If you are considering Allegiance, reach out to them and have them give you some overview and training of the product/services. They are so helpful. **What problems is Allegiance solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Allegiance as our primary donor database to record donations and pledges primarily. We utilize both Allegiance Fundraising and Allegiance Traffic. We use Traffic to schedule and read live on-air underwriting messages. ### 4. Essentially as long as you have recorded the data, you can pull a report about it. It's very easy to pull lists for solicitation, check on how successful certain efforts are, etc. Also, the support staff is very kind and eager to help. **What do you dislike about Allegiance?** The look of it is very archaic. There are some strange quirks with deleting/editing information that isn't always user-friendly. There is inconsistency about how text is recorded (caps or not) and it is not easy to just tab through fields to enter information easily. Also, the way you record comments from donors is not easily tied to specific donations/events/incidences. It also doesn't keep track of historical contact information, which would be nice in some instances. **Recommendations to others considering Allegiance:** It is not the most modern software, but it gets the job done and the support staff is great. **What problems is Allegiance solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are easily able to pull our own mailing lists, track solicitations, keep track of decades of donations and donor information, and more. ### 5.
