**What do you like best about Channelscaler?**

On a personal note, i find Allbound very supportive on two counts - one is the support they provide on any enhancements etc and the other is 'ease of use'. While my organization used Allbound for varied partner/channel related engagements, i am exploring Allbound for MDF capability to be able to provide a single audit ready platform for the partners where the requisitions and POPs can be put at one platform retrievable anytime. The collaboration so far has been very good.

I am at the exploration phase and so far no complains in the design aspect. thanks

All partner program related aspects are covered via Allbound. Very intuitive and easy to use platform for the partners.

The Partner Engagement Functionalities are very valuable. Being able to communicate to your partners in an effective manner is an important pillar of the overall partner experience.
The pipeline functionalities and CRM integration give transparency to the partners.

There is no email newsletter tool included and no pricing calculator OOTB.

Pipeline visibility, partner engagement, partner training, content sharing, events --> all helping with overall partner experience

The somewhat ancient UI, the inability to setup/administer without the help of CM resources.

The Channel Mechanics Team are a friendly and approachable team, always ready to repond, open to feedback and very supportive. All of our product content is in the one place and accessible to our partners.

The UI is not patriculary intuitive but I hear a new one is on the roadmap

The CM team is knowledgeable, extremely flexible and friendly to work with. We are going through change management, and the support extended by the team is supportive and professional.

Allbound was able to help us easily navigate the partner experience for us and our partner. We needed a platform to get deal reg and content into a single place and they helped with that

Almost too many tool and tricks that it was a lot to learn at first and to make it user friendly. but we were able to get there none the less and it has helped a lot.

We needed an affordable partner portal where our partners could get on and grab content, do training and register specific deals and a spot for us to manage and maintain that at a high level.

**What do you like best about Channelscaler?**

Allbound is super easy to use and has all the most critical features and tools needed to help your channel succeed. Plus, it has some pretty useful bells and whistles. I have selected Allbound as my PRM vendor twice now and would recommend it to anyone looking for an intuitive front- and back-end. Totally worth the value. The team at Allbound is also amazing!

I can't think of anything to dislike. If you have an issue or request, the team is pretty accommodating.

The main reason we are using Allbound is for deal registration so we can gain better visibility into our channel pipeline. But Allbound offers so much more, from marketing to sales to training. It offers all our partners value and provides us with an easy way to share information with them.

The best part of Allbound PRM for us is the pipeline tool. Our previous manual method of using spreadsheets was very time-consuming. Having the pipeline tool and syncing this with our CRM was the ideal solution.

When reviewing PRM solutions, Allbound appeared to be the simplest to implement and use for a small team of business users.

**What do you dislike about Channelscaler?**

Difficult to say what I dislike.  Most of the time when I find something to be a challenge with the product, it's typically attributed to a lack of knowledge / experience with the product.

**What problems is Channelscaler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing us easily to establish new and grow relationships with partners.   We're able to do this with scale in mind, enabling our small team to scale program communications and enablement, freeing us up to spend more time with the partners developing business.

Allbound is a one-stop shop for all of the Partner's needs. 
It integrates with Salesforce easily and has many things OOTB compared to other solutions (e.g. Salesforce), which assist leveraging the relationship with your partners.

**What do you dislike about Channelscaler?**

As good as the integration is, this is not a native Salesforce app, meaning it is not built 100% INSIDE of Salesforce itself using the Lightning Platform.
So on the Salesforce side there is configuration to be done to allow you to track the partners activity using Salesforce (and not needing to pull the data out of allbound every time)

It allows trasperncany and good communication with our clients. 
It eases the deal registration process and automates it.
It also helps track partner performance and allows to create an actual partner program based on business insights.

It helps small partners from our Distributor to have access to their metrics and renewal opportunities quickly.
Also gives our Distributor a digital tool to be in contact with their resellers.

**What do you dislike about Channelscaler?**

It doesn't have more automatic functions to help renewals follow up with our partners.
Distributors need to be able to send automatic communications for the smaller renewal opportunities so the partner also reminds to close those small deals.

No training is needed as a Partner or Channel Manager to use and organise yourself when using this tool. The navigation within the portal is clear and concise. The ability to store and find a range of document types is great for our partners. We encourage our partners to use their Allbound account as a one source of truth for all things related to Bynder.

**What do you dislike about Channelscaler?**

Better filtering ability for the pipeline data. For example, today I cannot slide my view to see all opportunities for a partner type per region.

More features to assist with my prospecting activity. Ability to hold a list and sync this to our CRM system.

Using Allbound is removing the need to create manual reports, and enabling my partners to access standardised content when posting Bynder.

Less time spent on this activity means more time can be spent reaching out to new potential partners!

Allbound is the overall best solution on the market for PRMs.

Submitting a deal could be made easier for users, we've also had issues with the Salesforce syncing.

Allbound is a centralized place for our partners to submit leads to us and helps us and them both keep track of number of leads submitted, deal sizes and deal status.

**What do you like best about Channelscaler?**

I like how easy and intuitive it is. It's very similar to WordPress on the backend, which is user-friendly. I can also easily and quickly add new content for our partners and select what group it is for, who the target audience it and make it customizable if needed.

**What do you dislike about Channelscaler?**

It was a tiny bit tricky to figure out how to go from admin view to regular view, but all in all, I would recommend it.

**Recommendations to others considering Channelscaler:**

It's very straightforward, easy to use, easy to manage and our partners like it.

We wanted to have a more professional and sophisticated partner portal with SSO capabilities as well as to make it easier to find and use our content. We also wanted to improve our partner experience and make it a place where they know they can find all the right information. So far, we've gotten a great response from our partners and want to continue to grow our program.

I like Allbound is useful and important for:
Your channel sales can be monitored and improved.
You can give your partners instant access to the many sales that are going on.
Help your partners confidently encourage prospects to buy playbooks.
You can find partners and train them sincerely.
While promoting your company's goods or services, partners can support themselves.
Partners can access sales tools including case studies, fact sheets, and presentations, as well as information about our company and register for events.

For pipeline data, Allbound needs stronger filtering capabilities.
More options may be added to the control panel.
Both a messaging service and a chatbot could be part of Allbound.
There are relatively few formatting and editing options available.
Its cost is higher than that of other software.

Offers can be tracked and recorded.

Being WordPress-based, Allbound removes barriers to entry for marketing teams. There is no need to learn new technology to get started on Allbound. Allbound also includes all of the features you need to run a successful channel program.

**What do you dislike about Channelscaler?**

The few times I needed support, the response time wasn't immediate enough. However, prior familiarity with WordPress meant I could usually figure out a solution before Support even got back to me.

Competitors to Allbound will typically require a developer to get anything, beyond the basics, done. Allbound made it very easy to get the look and feel right on our own.

Allbound has been a super helpful resource for our company. The Allbound team is very hands-on and always willing to help. Allbound is very easy to navigate and the training is very detailed.  All of the features are useful and very customizeable.

**What do you dislike about Channelscaler?**

There is nothing that we genuinely dislike about Allbound. The only thing we are missing is a more customizable dashboard and a way to organize the content and resource pages better, but these are minimal issues that do not impact us very much.

**Recommendations to others considering Channelscaler:**

Allbound is a great resource and their support team is very hands-on and helpful. Our new integration process is going well and we are excited to see the outcome.

We are able to have a page for our partners to visit and gain access to all of our content and resources. We are also working on integrating ur CRM which will make it even more useful for our internal team and our partners.

I like that it was possible to add all types of collateral for partners and sort partners into groups so that they could only see what was relevant to them.  This made the partner experience much better than if they could see everything and have to sort through it.

I didn't really dislike it, but I had expected that any partner portal would be somewhat interactive and be a place where partners could interact to some extent. However, I found that, by working with the Allbound team, we could get this functionality added rather quickly, and that was a nice complement to Allbound's features.

Having everything a partner needs all in one place, easy to navigate, easy to reference.  Also, having one place to go for deal registration, roadmaps, events happening etc.

Videos are not hosted on the platform, so if the google account linked to the Youtube account goes away, all the training videos are lost. Also, the annoying "view now" button when looking in the asset library tends to lose partners when they are looking for content.

Allbound is a incredible platform that is very customizable. We have essentially white labeled our account and we use it as a partner resource. We are able to upload a wide range of assets and use filters which makes it easy for our partners to find things. It's like a mini website that we can make increasingly specific based on the partner type.

**What do you dislike about Channelscaler?**

It's a little slow and in some areas dated. I haven't noticed many difficulties while using the program. One feature I would like to have added would be a messaging platform or chat bot where we can answer the questions (not going thru Allbound).

We use Allbound to help our Partners with marketing collateral and general information. It's a useful database to not only hold everything but easily filter through to find what they need.

It is pretty easy to upload new content to Allbound. It accepts PDFs and other file types as well (PowerPoint, etc.) and you can make it filter by audience or other information. You can customize various fields and checkboxes and it will organize things so that users can easily search for content.

**What do you dislike about Channelscaler?**

Certain things are a little less than intuitive for me, such as when media is not attached to a listing. It's not always easy to figure out how to link things without creating new listings, which will duplicate and dillute the content library.

We are using this as a content repository so that members of the company can log in and easily find content - new or updated collateral - for them to use in order to increase sales.

Allbound is flexible in its setup, with many easy ways to expose your portal resources to varying groups of partners. The ability to hide & nest resources makes it fairly simple to create meaningful playbooks and adjust on the fly.

The user interface is fairly clunky, and learning the platform is sometimes a guessing game of navigation. Once you know how to get to the editor and content pages, it is a bit easier, although this is far from the most intuitive UI I've used.

**Recommendations to others considering Channelscaler:**

Be sure to examine all needs from a partner engagement standpoint. Will you need to plug in a SPIF payout platform? Does the gamification & points system work for your team and your partners?

We can easily group resources into playbooks and expose them to appropriate groups of partners and teams. We're able to control the collateral and drop new pieces in quickly. Our partners are very well equipped with resources when they login to our portal.

The Admin Settings is very user-friendly. You can find your way quite easily within reports, content management, and using extra features like quizzes, playbooks, and custom user journeys. When you are not sure, you can always go to Allbound University and watch tutorial videos shot by Super Admins.

The Dashboard design can be improved. Different options in terms of design will be great when you work for different partners. Different business requires different features to be displayed on the dashboard. Therefore, a more detailed customized option will be great.

Allbound creates an easy and simple way to create visibility for our partner's sales pipeline and a quick access to a resource repository.

It lacks features to handle Affiliate Partners like some of the other Partner Portal Competitors have in their tool box.

**Recommendations to others considering Channelscaler:**

Ask as many questions as you can up front. Verify that everyone from all sides knows the requests and process to address those requests. The difficult part for us came during our set up period with connecting to Salesforce. If we could have gone back, we would have made sure everything was crystal clear in our requests and connectivity needs before proceeding. Once everything is up and running it returns to a smooth experience that our partners love.

We needed to free up our Partner Manager from needing to constantly provide sales cycle updates on a partner's referrals. Implementing this portal dramatically reduced busy work and increased productivity in other areas.

Featured image photo size. I wish it were large enough to take a screenshot of the whole document and have that displayed for a more clean look than only 1/3 of the page.
