**What do you like best about Alida?**

I like that they pay attention to the smaller customer and that they understand that relationships are central to forming a good partnership. They didn't just sell us a product and then disappeared. They are with me as much today as they were at inception, possibly even more.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

I have a platform that I can see has lots of capabilities but I don't think Alida always talks about the things you can get, that you don't currently have. We should always be made aware of what's out there and what we could do with those tools.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Assisting with our Otter Voice community and helping us get the surveys out on time, with relevant content, constructed in ways to get actionable feedback from the customer. We are expanding our solution with them to include 5 embedded touchpoints and also working on a CSAT transactional survey with them. They are helping us grow our in our CX roles and helping us understand the customer journey.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

My favorite thing about the platform is that it is very easy to program and test surveys with a good variety of question types, survey logic, and page elements.
The Premier Community Management service has reinivorgated our community to optimize customer experiences with the platform while collaborating with Alida team members.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

The look and feel of the survey designs could be improved somewhat. I do not always find every question type fits nicely on one page, which can create an awkward survey experience for survey takers.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alida creates a platform for us to create an online community of customers we can regularly engage with to improve product improvements and change.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

Easy to use, the UI is mostly intuitive. Survey building process is very easy. Allows you to test the email deployment before sengind out.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

Analysis tool and ways to view and work with the results data can be improved. For example, for stack ranking, it just spits out the results without weighting the responses so there is no easy way to understand that which item was ranked the highest. I cannot just take the report and use it, it needs expert knowledge to make sense out of it.

Being able to quickly put together and deploy surveys and get answers at scale.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

Passed a very stringent legal review in a difficult category . The speed that you can answer questions with the panel is terrific. Customer success support is unparallellled. Always showing me new ways to use the platform and integrate with other tools in our tech stack.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

It is not Alida's fault but we are a low resourced department and we've had trouble recruiting a full panel.

The ability to build comprehensive profiles about respondents. The platform is intuitive to use. The tech support team is exceptional at providing a quick response that addresses the issue at hand - along with supporting documentation.

Infrequently, Tech support is not readily available. You must leave a message and they'll call back.

The platform is easy to use and offers a variety of features and functions. They proactively manage the 'heavy lift' of the community implementation process.

Although Alida positively manages community support role transitions, these changes are made at least once a year or so.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Platform allows us to engage members and obtain feedback by conducting A/B testing, concept/message testing, satisfaction surveys, product launch, and rebranding studies. Results and key insights, recommendations and detailed findings help inform the business and monthly community sharebacks let our members know how we have used the insights to help create change and/or innovate.

I love that I have quick and easy access to survey my customers. The survey tool is mostly easy to use and I'm able to export results quickly.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

The analysis tool is slow and finicky, so we often don't use it. Sometimes the programming drag and drop tool can also be a bit tricky.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

Our customer success manager has been a true partner to us. She always offers strategies to help us with recruitment and engagement and is truly invested in seeing us succeed. The tool itself is agile and user-friendly and has a wide range of capabilities around question types. It's effortless to view summary statistics of the data and share that with internal partners.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

I do wish that the reporting piece had more sophisticated filtering abilities, specifically by date, but they have been making substantial changes in the tool and I'm sure that is something they will continue to improve.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been leveraging Alida for customer intelligence and Voice of the Employee.  On the client side, the ability to create a customer community and use profile variables to target specific users has allowed us to bring more client feedback into our product development and innovation processes. It has made our clients see us as more of a strategic partner. On the employee side, we've used surveys to understand employee sentiment and their experience and collect employee feedback to help prioritize client-facing efforts. We've used this insight to inform our internal comms and drive employee engagement, which has been particularly impactful throughout the pandemic. Lastly, we recently expanded our contract with Alida to include their Video Discussion feature which enables us to conduct client interviews & focus groups in a much more streamlined approach. The Video Discussions piece includes recording, transcriptions, and the creation of highlight reels - all of which have been a game-changer when it comes to qualitative reserach.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

Alida is a valuable platform for gaining insight into your patients. It is intuitive and easy to use. The tool has produced many tangible results which have helped our organization incorporate data into our decision-making process.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

The platform requires a lot of upfront preparation. It is not a tool you can ideate in. Most prep work has to be done outside of the platform, such as survey, dashboards, and reporting on outcomes.

We have many transformative initiatives at a health-system level. The platform has helped us to inform decisions with patient insights and incorporate their voice. Patients and internal stakeholders like to hear back from the results on the studies so they know how their feedback has been incorporated.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

In every interaction, I feel Alida's team sees themselves as our partner, not just a vendor. Even when a solution isn't readily available, they are open to new ideas, welcome customer input, and continue innovating. Further, everyone I've worked with at Alida, from customer support to sales to our day-to-day rep is professional, positive, and focused on finding the best solutions.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

Sometimes my very specific requests aren't top-of-mind for Alida's product team. That doesn't mean they won't eventually come to fruition, just that I have to wait what feels like a long time. Some of those are no big deal, some are frustrating, but overall the team and their platforms serve us well.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In 2021 and 2022, we grew our internal market research function significantly and much of what we were able to accomplish used Alida's platforms. We put new programs in place, bolstered the amount and quality of insights we're able to provide our colleagues, and raised the profile of research within the company. Having Alida's partnership helped us think through options and approaches, which led to the best solutions within our existing staffing and budget structures.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

I really like how easy it is to program the surveys and make changes in real-time that are automatically updated with external links. I use external links with stakeholders and it is nice to not have to send them new links each time changes are made.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

I think the text analysis section of the survey reporting could be updated to automatically sort/code topics and sentiments more easily. We use another platform (Canvs) to code the open-end responses because they have a more robust AI for analysis of the open-ends, but it would be nice to do it all in one place under the Alida platform.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They help us to leverage a panel of players to determine what concepts, campaigns, and other general factors affect their playing behavior when it comes to our products. We use those insights to provide products and services that players want most.

The best part is being able to get updates on the latest trends and updates from Alida, and being included in monthly meetups. The community is pretty engaging.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

I wish that it was more clear who to reach out to in order to get help in different situations. I've found it tricky sometimes to get technical support when there is a time sensitive issue.

Alida is helping us track a unique community of patients in order to get their insights to improve our communications. It has surpassed PFAC in a lot of ways in how we can generate a lot of client feedback quickly.

I've worked with many creative and smart individuals at Alida (formerly Vision Critical). Alida has consistently evolved and developed products to help companies with the resources needed to maintain feedback (and dialogue) with customers/fans.

Their survey platform is always improving and the lack of some survey functionality before has been addressed. But pretty happy with the platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Alida:**

I have already twice spoken to two others that have considered working with Alida in the past. It is worth having a conversation with Alida to determine if they are a good fit for your organization and business needs. Recommended!

Helpful support from both customer success and technical support. Recruitment and survey mechanisms all work as expected. Product team is very invested in customers and asks for input from real customers to advance the product further.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

There are kinks here and there from a UX perspective. Minor functionality improvements could be added like being able to duplicate member groups, easy PV categorization, reporting features, etc. some aspects of the product are a bit cumbersome to use

Being able to have a research panel that we're able to tap into for fast research is very helpful. Makes the turnaround time for research a lot quicker than sourcing participants from third party vendors.

Improve: Some features that we need with programming are missing, like customizing the width of Grid, Bi-polar question type missing etc.,
In the Analytics feature, we would like to see an option to combine different studies and download them in Excel/csv

Heatmaps help us to understand what features of our product consumers like the most.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

I've been using Alida for the last 7 years of my career and have seen all of the growth and transitions they've made for the better. We have an excellent CSM (Aidan) who is ultra-responsive and a pleasure to work with. The survey tool is foolproof and has some awesome features that really set them apart.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

Sometimes it takes a while for requested changes to be made from professional services and responsiveness by the member services team isn't always there.

It's great to be able to tap into our Clients' thoughts easily and quicklys so we can adapt our business.

1. Some technical issues with the website can occasionally interrupt an otherwise smooth experience.
2. Not being able to immediately get notifications of customers posts and emails.

Simple to use report function, survey invites and the hub has some handy features

Very annoying drag and drop function when scripting surveys - doesn't seem to work properly when adding in survey logic, it just flips around and ends up being added to the bottom.

Alida have been great account managers, filling us in on best practices for keeping engagement in our community high.

A noteworthy downside is that the Alida platform does not include a free, easy incentive distribution mechanism.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

We love engaging with our brand influencers across all platforms and all brands. The Alida platform allows us to launch targeted activities to specific audiences and collect results quickly. Our research team is able to support multiple teams across all of our brands (including marketing, commercial, sales, product, UX),  collecting valuable insights in just a few days, when needed. Having the commuities, with stored profile variables, gives us the ability to cut data and deepen understanding of a topic on hand, among many different subgroups. Having this  personalized, cost-effective way to communicate with our audiences is an invaluable resource for us.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

While most of the reporting features are great, at the moment, we dislike having to create multiple email invites for each of our brands, depending on the activity. Although I am also aware, Alida takes the development of product features very seriously and is always working on finding solutions that fit customers' needs, with an extensive product update pipeline.

**Recommendations to others considering Alida:**

While the platform requires a dedicated human resource - the insights collected can provide a important input on current customer behaviors, and help understand their needs.

From content development to exploring new trends, new verticals, to product testing, video testing and more, the Alida platform allows us to get insights quickly and seamlessly.

Appreciate our partnership with Jason, our Sr. Customer Success Manager. Since he joined Alida, he's worked with our team to structure new strategies for us to improve recruitment strategies and engagement activities.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

Wish the tool was a little more sophisticated when it comes to in-survey skip logic and data filtering. I imagine the team will continue to improve the text analysis side of the tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Alida:**

Great tool to help you create, manage, and speak to a group of constituents for any number of reasons. We use Alida to talk to engage our patients. With Alida, we learn what matters to patients and uncover ways to further meet their needs across our service lines.

We utilize Alida to manage our customer panel end-to-end. Since onboarding this tool, we've grown our customer panel from zero to 3,400+ engaged individuals. We go to our panel to get candid feedback on the features and benefits of our service lines compared to competitors.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

Alida reconfigured as a new business for the past year and they have now established themselves as the best Online surveying and community-building tool out there. Their tools are easy to use, their executives and Points of Contact are experts in their field, and they go out of their way to provide timely and professional support, focused on doing what's best for you. On the field,  the tool is attractive and delivers actionable data faster than others, and their deliverables are attractive and easy to share.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

On the dislikes, at this moment in time is hard to pinpoint something we dislike from Alida. For the past year, they have been working with us in generating unique and personalized solutions, and we have just closed a deal that felt like a win-win for everybody.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

I have used the Alida to create, host, and engage an internal client panel. The survey functionality and userzoom integration has been pivotal to scaling our resaerch. Alida's survey features are comparable to some of the dedicated research tools that my team uses. Beyond the product, the support team for our panel members is very responsive and helpful when it comes to troubleshooting and answering member and researcher issues or questions. Alida has also been phenomenal when it comes to thought partnership to socialization and training with our team. With Alida we've been able to reduce recruitment from months to minutes, access to niche segment groups, and scale UX Research without dependency on a thrid party vendor.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

While Alida has a Calendly integration, that tool is not approved by our company so we are not able to use the feature like we would hope to for study recruitment. However, if Alida had scheduling built into the survey platform then it would be a less manual process.

**Recommendations to others considering Alida:**

We use Alida differently than most clients. The partnership and commitment to help our team scale our research has been instrumental our successes. They have a dedicated and intelligent group of folks committed to helping clients meet current and future goals.

The biggest problem we solved with Alida were related to client recruitment. Much of the work that we do requires some domain knowledge by participants so it was difficult and extremely lengthy process to source the right people, especially in a heavily regulated industry.

The platform is very easy to use, its so user friendly that you can get started exploring and building projects right away. If an issue does arise their customer support team is SO great! I have used both the chat support as well as calling into their hotline and both were seamless. They also have a lot of blog content that has tips and tricks as well as step by step instructions on how to implement activities.

I enjoy a lot about the platform, but if I had to specify one thing I dislike it would be the training on the platform could have been more interactive, but they might have updated it since then.

We reviewed several platforms before deciding to implement this one and it has been a great tool from day 1. The team at Alida is always looking for ways they can improve the platform and regularly ask for feedback on features wed like to see. Its a great product and a great team.

I think that the decision for a software tool depends heavily on your context. For us, Alida works very well. It gives us flexibility to work in multiple languages, provides cool dashboarding, and is a user-friendly and stable environment. But something you always need, independently from your context, is great support. And the Alida team is exactly that: Great support for our team, always pro-active, and we can really count on them!

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

Not sure if you can call it 'dislike', but it would be even better if Alida had more possibilities outside of the panel software, for more general voice of the customer measurements. So that we can use it for everything related to CX.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

- I can create PQs to help me integrate internal data into the survey results, allow me to view historical data (from previous surveys).
- The module for creating surveys is easy to learn and get used to.
- The platform itself has so many features. A year into using it and I still sometimes get surprised by what it can do.
- VERY good support from Vision Critical counterparts! Our account managers and even the tech support team always respondents quickly and fully to our concerns. When there are features that are not yet available (especially in the creation of surveys), they even suggest workarounds.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

- Limited design options in creating invitations.
- Some PQ variables takes time to "refresh" in the back-end.
- NPS type survey displays only Promoter/Passive/Detractor in summary tables; would be useful to see the exact scores in the scale as well.
- Means/averages are not possible when my scale has titles (ex. 10-Very Satisfied). I have to extract Response-Level data and compute manually from there.
- Community data can get messy after a while. Needs tedious community management.. not the fault of the platform of course, but thinking if there's a way to help community managers with this.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Implementation of surveys, especially at this time with COVID-19, is very difficult on ground. Our VC platform has made insighting possible even when F2F interviews are on hold. Turnaround times are also much faster compared to F2F interviews.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

It's easy to set up surveys with their Sparq 3 platform. We can also run tables with several data cuts within the platform and generate shareable links for a quick view of running survey results. Customer success managers are very accommodating and responsive. However, subscription necessitates a dedicated insight community manager to organize the surveys, etc.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

Sometimes, Sparq 3 takes a long time to load, especially when running data tables with several data cuts and appended profiling variables. Experiencing log in issues at times, but the support team is just an e-mail away.

**Recommendations to others considering Alida:**

Have a dedicated insight community manager for organizing insighting activities/surveys, member engagement, collaboration with internal stakeholders,  community expansion, etc.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Conducting multiple online surveys without worrying on cost; Means to get agile feedback/ insights from customers as you can quickly set up surveys.

**What do you like best about Alida?**

SPARQ has undergone a great evolution. The new platform is user friendly and users don't require programming skills to use. The response memory gives users great targeting capabilities for sampling. This is a great platform if you're looking to manage your insight community internally. It also has the flexibility to allow you to create research studies that is not targeted to your insight community. Its discussion forum function allows for the qualitative insights without the steep costs of a focus group. 
The support staff is the best I have experienced, and CSMs work with each client to achieve your research objectives.

**What do you dislike about Alida?**

The platform is not designed for advanced research methodologies such as MaxDiff, Conjoint, etc. In addition there were some great functionality in the older version of the software that was not included in the upgrade to SPARQ3. However, it seems that gradually some of these functionality will be introduced to the new software.  

**Recommendations to others considering Alida:**

Determine your overall research program including the internal human resource available.  To utilize this software to its fullest you will need staff that has some research experience and possess the ability to manage an Insight Community. If you have an immediate need for advanced research methods ask about the possibility of adding on Survey Gizmo. 

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The software is leveraged for product development from idea generation to product evaluation. It is used not only for our Insight Community but also for adhoc research studies.

We love the ability to reach out to members of our community and receive feedback almost immediately.  The fact that we can sub categorize our panel and that we have a variety of ways to reach and survey the members, provides us with a wealth of options we did not have before working with Vision Critical.  The panel saves us weeks and provides us with the ability to support different business units with quick turnaround answers to the questions they might have when trying to make future business decisions.


**What do you dislike about Alida?**

We wish the feedback process to keep the panel engaged and provide fun fast feedback and interesting info was a bit more automated or handled on the VC side.  This may be an option we have not yet explored, it just becomes something we forgo due to our hectic daily schedules that require our time and resources elsewhere often.  Though the panel has stayed robust and active even though we have not been as active and quick on the share back side.  The panel provides a myriad of value options but you feel like you could never spend enough time to fully leverage it, which i guess is a bigger positive statement.

**What problems is Alida solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From optimizing communication messages, to product design, product details, naming and feature measures, advertising campaign reviews, to one off executive questions we have been able to use the panel for a wide range of items and needs.
