  ### 1. Incredible & Innovative Platform for Employers

**Describe the project or task Alice helped with:**

We transitioned to Alice to consolidate all pre-tax savings for employees and offer a single streamlined platform to help educate & save our employees as much money as possible. 

The idea of having one platform to manage all employee pre-tax savings was incredibly enticing as an employer, and our employeess LOVE the platform.

**What do you like best about Alice?**

- Communication & education to employees 

- Support for employees (text, call & email). Employees can always get questions answered quickly.

- Support for employers (one dedicated account representative). The Alice team even initiates ideas on how to increase employee utilization, which I have never experienced with a platform. They check-in frequently, and are always willing to hold webinars/speak with employees.

- Consistent platform innovation

**What do you dislike about Alice?**

I have not experienced any downsides with Alice.

**Recommendations to others considering Alice:**

My only advice for employers switching to Alice would be to ensure you provide increased education on HOW the platform works - especially if transitioning from another commuter benefits platform or HSA/FSA. 

Since the platform is new and innovative - sometimes employees do not understand how simple & easy pre-tax savings can be with Alice.

**What problems is Alice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are always looking for ways to increase platform utilization and save our employees as much $$$ as possible. We are in the process of comparing our health benefits enrollment to Alice enrollment and tailoring our communication to different audiences depending on their health benefits enrollment. 

Alice is constantly educating employers/employees on legal/regulation updates, which has been a huge unlock for us as COVID has allowed increased flexibility in the pre-tax health savings. Understanding the changes in regulations has allowed us to save our employees more money!

**Describe the project or task Alice helped with:**

Alice provides us with pre-tax commuting benefits, an FSA, an HSA, and a Dependent Care FSA on an online platform that is easy for staff unfamiliar with these benefits to interact with and gain the advantage of.

**What do you like best about Alice?**

It's an easy setup, and ongoing requires very little active work on the part of onsite payroll/HR. Customer service is excellent, and the way the product is presented makes it very easy for folks to sign up and (more importantly) understand why it is a good thing to sign up. It's also very easy to use and interact with - mostly involves texts directly to users. Payroll batches are automatically created and imported to payroll.

**What do you dislike about Alice?**

Even with the (I think) very plainly worded information about the benefits provided during enrollment, some staff have still not understood exactly what they are signing up for. The materials have improved over time, and I'm sure that will continue, but it can be frustrating (and maybe this falls more on the staff member than on the materials). Compliance reporting was a little off a few years ago but they made huge strides in the last 1.5 years and I'm very confident in that area now.

**What problems is Alice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Initially, I wanted to provide an FSA/HSA solution that didn't involve heavy lifting. Alice has done that. The commuting benefits are also a great addition and actually have a much higher adoption rate (works for mass transit, parking, and rideshare)

**Describe the project or task Alice helped with:**

We were looking for a simple, friendly, and approachable solution for all of our employees to take advantage of commuter benefits. We also were happy to offer HSA, FSA, and Dependent Care spending accounts in partnership with Alice to maximize the total rewards our team has available to them.

**What do you like best about Alice?**

The simplicity of the payroll process. Alice handles all of the nitty-gritty in making sure employees can quickly receive the tax benefits without our support team needing to make any entries or comb through hundreds of employee files to make updates every week.

**What do you dislike about Alice?**

The fact that there is not a dedicated app to be able to track expenses and upload receipts. I think this would make the service more approachable for the average employee.

**What problems is Alice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can maximize our total rewards to our employees without adding support staff or hours to our workload, managing another benefit provider. Alice makes it super easy.

We implemented pre-tax benefits for commuting, HSA-Health Savings Account, FSA- Flexible Spending Account, and Dependent Care.

**What do you like best about Alice?**

They make the employee experience SO easy. Every week, they track the employee's transaction and add a batch to payroll automatically - and on time. They provide support to the employees directly and our customer service support was outstanding!

**What do you dislike about Alice?**

As a user, you have to log in and approve your transactions and upload receipts which can get tedious if you have many qualifying expenses.

**Recommendations to others considering Alice:**

It's the best-in-class commuter service provider.

**What problems is Alice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are saving money compared to what we paid our previous benefit provider. Also, we have saved time spend administrating this benefit since the Alice team is doing the heavy lifting.

Such an easy, comprehensive platform! Great way to help save on everyday expenses.

The team at Alice is communicative, accessible, friendly, and accommodating.

Comprehensive dashboard and dedicated representatives to assist with any questions along the way!

**What do you dislike about Alice?**

Since inception, I have yet to come across anything I don't necessarily like!

But Alice continues to advance and expand its capabilities.

Commuter and medical costs have been a significant savings with Alice.
