**What do you like best about AlertMedia?**

I wanted to share some thoughts regarding our experience with AlertMedia. One of the standout aspects is just how easy it is to use; sending information to designated targets is straightforward and efficient. The system integrates seamlessly with our employee single sign-on provider, making access and authentication smooth for everyone involved.

The support we’ve received from AlertMedia has been exceptional. At the County, we’ve relied on AlertMedia several times to send mass communications to employees, and it has consistently delivered reliable performance.

When it comes to pricing, AlertMedia is quite competitive, offering a comparable rate to similar products on the market. What sets it apart is the breadth of functionality included with the platform—we truly get a lot of value.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to start leveraging the built-in intelligence features and exploring the AI enhancements that AlertMedia offers. These additions should further streamline our communication processes and provide even more robust capabilities.

We have several buildings that make up our County campus. It has allowed us to efficiently notify the designated groups as necessary to relay important infomration as needed.

**What do you like best about AlertMedia?**

The simplicity of use was important to me when I began shopping for a new notification tool. I believe that almost three years later AlertMedia continues to offer ease of use. I also am appreciative of the growth of the tool. The scalability is a nice offer to organizations of all sizes.

**What do you dislike about AlertMedia?**

Lately, the company seems to have lost its customer-first focus. It feels like they’ve become a victim of their own growth, and I’m no longer receiving the level of customer care I’ve come to expect. For example, it took me five months just to find out who my new relationship manager was.

**What problems is AlertMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of use to notify employees of an incident. I love the ability to geo-fence our branches and report to the affected areas. We are now using the polling feature as a part of our fire/building evacuation drills. A very efficient way to track who is in the office and who is hybrid for the day.

**What do you like best about AlertMedia?**

What I like best about AlertMedia is its ability to quickly communicate critical information to employees through multiple channels (text, email, voice, and mobile notifications) from a single platform. The interface is intuitive and easy to use, which allows our team to send emergency alerts and operational updates rapidly, especially during disruptions or urgent situations. I also appreciate the real-time delivery tracking and response capabilities, which help confirm that messages are reaching the intended audience and provide visibility into employee status during incidents.

**What do you dislike about AlertMedia?**

AlertMedia seems to be designed with "First World" communications channels. In Latin America our employees live on WhatsApp, not SMS. The AlertMedia integration with WhatsApp has not functioned well which makes the system essentially an emergency notification system between our headquarters and selected senior employees.

What I dislike most about AlertMedia is that some advanced features require additional setup and ongoing maintenance to keep contact lists and notification groups current. While the platform is very powerful, configuring workflows and ensuring accurate distribution lists can take time, especially in large organizations. I would also like to see more customization options in certain reporting and dashboard views to better match specific operational needs.

AlertMedia delivers tailored threat intelligence in an easily digestible format that facilitates knowledge of situations that could negatively impact our business and our employees. For example, up-to-date analytics on tropical storms helps us anticipate the effect of hurricanes and tropical depressions on our business and customers.

AlertMedia’s user interface is simple yet powerful. Some of the platform’s standout features include multi-channel emergency notifications, real-time threat intelligence data, two-way communication, and strong mobile app functionality.

There should be a way for users to choose which threat messages they want to receive. We also have to manage message fatigue for our employees. When too many messages are sent, employees can start ignoring important, critical alerts.

**What do you like best about AlertMedia?**

I love AlertMedia's customer service; it's elite. They meet with us monthly, help work towards our goals and initiatives, and are always there when we need them or want to brainstorm ideas. They also review statistics with us to help us see how we are doing and touch base on our goals, follow up in a timely manner with resources and everything we need. The initial setup was very easy and user-friendly, which was a pleasant surprise.

The cost is challenging but I know that is out of their control. Consider pricing based on not just size of organization but what level of services are used and discounts for long-term customers.

I use AlertMedia for effectively notifying 56,000+ employees during emergencies. Their elite customer service provides monthly meetings, helping us with goals and timely follow-ups. They review statistics to show our performance.

AlertMedia was great to work with during the onboarding process. The pricing model is extremely fair, and the performance is at par or above similar systems I have worked with.

I have my notifications set to a pretty low alerting setting. I sometimes receive alerts that I don't feel pertain to my organizations safety.

**What problems is AlertMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AlertMedia makes it easy to contact specific offices, individual employees, or, when needed, send an occasional “All” alert. Using the remote worker intel has also been helpful for ensuring we provide the same duty of care to our remote workforce that we offer our in-office employees.

There isn't much I dislike, but I think the interface could be a little more intuitive in a few areas. Once you get used to it, it's easy to navigate.

**What do you like best about AlertMedia?**

What I like best about AlertMedia is that, as the SME for the platform and someone with hands on experience across multiple mass communication systems, it is truly best in class. From an implementation standpoint, the platform was straightforward to deploy and integrate into our existing workflows, allowing us to move quickly from onboarding to full operational use with minimal friction.

AlertMedia is highly intuitive and exceptionally customizable, enabling us to tailor each alert type with pre built leadership distributions embedded directly into templates. The use of HTML for message construction, along with pre configured, drop in quick code snippets, significantly streamlines alert creation without sacrificing accuracy or precision; an essential capability given the high frequency with which the platform is used in day to day operations and during dynamic incidents.

Most importantly, the two way communication capability fundamentally sets AlertMedia apart, enabling real time engagement with coworkers rather than one directional messaging; something I have not seen executed this effectively in any prior system I’ve used. Additionally, AlertMedia’s customer support has been outstanding. The support team is highly responsive, regularly answering questions on the fly and consistently making time for follow up meetings when additional assistance is needed. This level of engagement helps ensure the platform is used correctly, efficiently, and to its full potential, which is critical during time sensitive safety events for our GSOC.

**What do you dislike about AlertMedia?**

What I dislike about AlertMedia is limited. There are a couple of areas where additional flexibility would further strengthen an already strong platform. One is the current lack of dark mode. During a recent AlertMedia meeting, it was shared that a dark mode is actively being developed, which our team and I are very much looking forward to, as extended use of the bright white interface can be fatiguing during long monitoring periods.

Another limitation is that once an alert is initiated, there is currently no ability to return to the map view and adjust the geofencing before sending. Many of the situations we manage for coworker safety are dynamic by nature; incident perimeters can shift, the direction or impact area can change, or we may be asked to include additional locations after an alert has already been drafted but not yet sent. The ability to refine or expand geofencing in progress would significantly enhance operational flexibility during developing events.

**What problems is AlertMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What problems AlertMedia is solving and how that benefits us is most evident during fast moving, global events. During the recent UAE challenges, we leveraged this as our primary platform for all ongoing safety communications with coworkers impacted in the region. The system solves the critical problem of maintaining consistent, reliable communication across time zones, geographies, and rapidly evolving conditions.

A key benefit has been the ability to pre build and schedule alerts in advance, allowing safety check ins to be delivered at appropriate local times as the day transitions from the U.S. to the UAE. This capability ensured that outreach did not depend on real time manual intervention during overnight hours and significantly improved response rates from coworkers on the ground. The result was faster accountability, clearer situational awareness, and more timely support for those impacted.

Overall, AlertMedia enables proactive, structured, and globally synchronized communication during crises; turning what would otherwise be a fragmented and reactive process into a coordinated and effective safety operation.

The Ai features are beginning to evolve and will likely take some time to incorporate.  I'd like to see more AI options in reporting features to continue to analyze our usage, change in employee datasets and location threat aggregation.

The user interface is very intuitive and easy to use.  The combined threat intelligence with mass notification features provide quality coverage around the globe for our footprint, at a competitive price.

As a new customer, I’ve been very impressed with the customer service and support provided to me and my team throughout the onboarding process.

I haven’t disliked anything. It’s been a pleasant experience.

**What problems is AlertMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For my team and our company, being able to quickly identify risks and threats, mitigate them fast, and use communication tools with two-way feedback is exactly what I was looking for. Looking ahead, if and when a hurricane makes landfall, these communication tools and the information they provide will be vital for our company to communicate clearly and respond effectively for our customers and, most importantly, our people.

The main feature that led us to Alert Media was its desktop application integration, which notifies users directly on their laptops while they’re working. Alerts reach all users in a timely manner. Even non-technical users can easily navigate the portal to send messages.

**What do you dislike about AlertMedia?**

The cost is higher than some other alert platforms, but with this one you really get what you pay for. Overall, it feels like a better platform than some of the more budget-friendly options.

**What problems is AlertMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows managers to reach out to their teams directly, instead of having to keep everyone’s phone numbers written down somewhere. It has also enabled our service desk to access employees’ numbers so they can contact them when they’re offline.

This tool is indespensible if you want to communicate to your employees with almost guarenteed certainty at a moments notice. In an emergency, seconds count and this tool saves precious time when it is most important. Need to get your folks out of the building because of a fire or active shooter? This can help you accomplish that better than any email or texting system could do by itself. Combine that with the threat analysis offered by Alert Media and you have one tool that keeps your people safe.

It does require a significant time investment to get it configured but it is worth the investment for what it does.

**What do you like best about AlertMedia?**

I like AlertMedia for its ease of use, which is super important for us since we have multiple people with varying skill sets who need to be trained on how to use it. It's great that people don't actually need to get into the app to receive information because they can get messages like emails and text messages. This is extremely valuable, especially when setting up new job sites and notifications. Additionally, setting up new templates and sending out repeated notifications has been really easy. Even though we're reevaluating things like threat zones, the Word Media side is working quite well. Overall, it's been very easy to use, and that's a big plus.

**What do you dislike about AlertMedia?**

We've had a few instances where AlertMedia has not worked for specific individuals, or specific individuals were not receiving notifications that were being sent. But most of that, we've found, has been user error.

**What problems is AlertMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use AlertMedia for communicating with large groups, ensuring everyone gets notifications, especially during emergencies. It's easy for people with varying skill sets to use, even without logging into the app, making training straightforward and setup simple for notifications and job sites.

**What do you like best about AlertMedia?**

I use AlertMedia for Campus Notifications, Timely notifications, and emergency communications. The threat intelligence and weather monitoring features are really handy. I appreciate that AlertMedia frees up my time by notifying me of any potential threats, so I'm not constantly having to look for them. The in-house meteorologists provide weather updates that are usually more accurate than the news stations. I also love the ease of use, as it allows multiple members of my emergency response team to send and monitor notifications, which helps everyone do their jobs more efficiently during an emergency. Giving limited access to officers to send notifications at night without needing to find someone to do it saves precious time. Plus, the prompt auto notifications and the customer service are stellar. The transfer from RAVE to AlertMedia was seamless, and the new features that come out are usually very beneficial.

Nothing, I love it all

AlertMedia frees up time by notifying me of potential threats, making monitoring unnecessary. The ease of use lets multiple team members manage notifications efficiently, especially during emergencies, and allows limited access for quick night-time responses.

**What do you like best about AlertMedia?**

What I like most about AlertMedia is the access and ease of use, it's very user friendly and very, very helpful. The alerts are the most crucial part for me, followed by the reports for the information, and the maps are good too, it's an all around good product that gives you more of a picture. When it comes to being notified, I am pretty much instantly notified, which is crucial to the role, so the alert side is very handy. Wherever we are in the world, we get alerts and they're always accurate and current, and relevant to what we are doing in that particular time in that particular area, so I'm very happy with the product. It's given us much more confidence going into a situation, knowing more information like any plan. Having an app which is flexible and an alert system that gives you that sort of advanced heads up gives us the edge, and that flexibility is pretty key. It's made us more forward thinking rather than reactive, so we're not having to scramble around like before, it's more of a slicker service when it comes to notifications and the world picture of what's going on, and that helps disseminate the information down not just to our teams but also travel teams. We use AlertMedia with travel management and incident management, and refer to it for some of our information when compiling a security report. The initial setup was no problems for me personally, no issues, and our travel team had no issues at all, so very good. I think the product is pretty much there, it is what it says on the tin, it's a good product, and I'd recommend it 10 out of 10.

There's nothing I don't like about AlertMedia

AlertMedia gives us an immediate, more rounded picture of our area of operation, with current news and alerts on things like protests or pickpocketing. It helps us plan and keep our people and assets safe, lets us be forward thinking rather than reactive, and gives us the edge.

I use AlertMedia to support our Global Security Operations Center, and it's a great program. It's versatile and easy to use. It has many features, and mass communications distribution is easy. It also handles monitoring active threats and travel tracking. Overall it's a much better program than what we used before, and it's industry proven. The success manager who helped implement the program was extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about AlertMedia?**

I use AlertMedia to support our Global Security Operations Center. It monitors active threats, handles travel tracking, and mass communications. Distributing mass communications is easy.

An extremely easy to use and solid application.  It has delivered on its core purpose of delivering emergency notifications flawlessly.

Threat intelligence can be weak in smaller cities and towns but I understand there are natural limitations on gathering this information.

**What problems is AlertMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Besides solving the problem of delivering emergency communications, AlertMedia also automates alerts for weather-related threats and provides a convenient way to send non-urgent, project-related messages to large teams.

**What do you like best about AlertMedia?**

I love how simple the app is, especially its layout. The dashboard is very user-friendly, and it makes it easy for me to see all the local branches that have been cleared. I use this app every day for all clears, and it helps me stay on top of what’s been completed.

**What do you dislike about AlertMedia?**

I honestly don’t have anything negative that I’ve noticed while using the Alert Media app. So far, I haven’t run into any issues at all when using it. Overall, it’s a really easy-to-use app, and I think it’s great.

I love how you can see a map visually showing the weather patterns and what's to come along with what is already there in the area, with real up-to-date times refreshing every couple of minutes. The ease of access is great; it's so easy to send out alerts. The notifications show what's happening in clear detail, and workers know when it's 'all-clear' to safely return to work. It's really valuable because being part of the safety team, it's important for me to make sure everyone gets notified when conditions are unsafe. This notification system, along with our burst of three short loud horns, brings everyone to our muster point efficiently. **What do you like best about AlertMedia?**

I use AlertMedia for emergency communications and it helps us reach employees that we otherwise couldn't. I like how simple and straightforward the dashboard is and appreciate how customizable the messages are. We've used both the text message and phone call options and it works great. It's simple to use and effectively reaches employees. The initial setup was super easy and our reps have all been great.

**What do you dislike about AlertMedia?**

I think there's a lot of features that we don't utilize, partly because we don't understand them. Some of the location-specific stuff.

**What problems is AlertMedia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use AlertMedia for emergency communications to reach employees without email access. It helps us contact employees we couldn’t otherwise reach. It's simple to use and effectively reaches employees through customizable text messages and phone calls.
