So I think actually our biggest complaint has been the fact that we cant actually PIM to PIM right now. We have some customers of ours that our implementing Akeneo themselves and we can't actually plug in and give them the data. To our knowledge our only way to share that data is still via exports and emails, but it would be so much easier if we could just go PIM to PIM and data share across the shared system. I like the user-friendliness of Akeneo PIM, which makes updating products simple and allows me to maneuver through and analyze data quickly. I also appreciate the bulk import and bulk edit features that speed up the enrichment process by allowing me to handle large amounts of data instead of filling out each attribute individually. I think user friendliness could be improved by introducing more features that exist already for other popular applications. For example, instead of individually clicking each SKU to do a sequential or bulk edit, changing it to where you could select one SKU, hold down the shift key, and select up to a certain point. It would allow me to select individual SKUs much faster instead of having to select all and then unselect some. In regards to bulk imports, I think it could be improved by AI ingesting that data and then putting it where it needs to go because we currently have to organize and format everything before importing. I appreciate using Akeneo PIM as our single source of truth for product data, which helps improve data completeness and accuracy while reducing time to market. I like the AI features that assist us in writing consistent product descriptions across various categories, maintaining a standard approach for customers. Multiple teams working on products in the PIM improves our time to market. Additionally, we integrate it with both SAP ECC and Adobe Commerce, which enhances its utility for us. The flexibility, but like all PIM systems you have to configure and adapt it to your unique business. This makes training your internal staff a bit more unique as you have to customise your training based on your specific implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are so many things to love about Akeneo PIM! A few of my favorite features are "Bulk Edit" where you can define which products you want to target and then update them all at once. Or the "Rules" where you can set up automatic rules to enrich products based on almost limitless parameters and then do a lot of different kinds of enrichment to said products. Being able to set up roles and responsibilities for different kinds of users is very helpful. Tailored imports are also very helpful! Being able to set up imports with our ERP systems through scheduled tailored imports helps us to keep up to date catalog information within our PIM system and it was so easy to do! I use all of these features on a daily basis and it has made our product management so much more streamlined. The initial setup of Akeneo PIM was very difficult, dealing with a large flat file mess and poor guidance from integration partners. Something that could be improved is the workflow function. We would like to get the notifications in real time instead of once a week. In addition, it would be nice to have some dynamic settings for the attributes where there's some dependencies. If I select one attribute, others can either be hidden or shown on the page.
