12 airSlate SignNow API Reviews

The signNow API was super easy to get started with for embedded signing. We implemented it within a month, going from no knowledge of SignNow to live in production for customers. Since setting it up over three years, it's been mostly hands off with very little issues. With the embedded flow, not our sales people as well as the customers can still within our platform to manage and sign documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They don't really have great support for a staging environment. They do have an evaluation environment but those accounts expire and are not attached to your main account. With the main account there is a way to make use a test key to not use invitations. Then when ready, you can mark it live. However, it doesn't work quite the way we wanted. Straightforward implementation, easy to use, full-featured API, decent documentation, good support.
The API is quite fast too.
They offer complete API call logs on their backend which makes it real easy to debug issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Documentation is a bit lacking on some features, but looks like they're actively working to improve it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1) The embedable widgets were easy to incorportate and pretty easy to customize
2) Nearly every endpoint functioned as the docs described
3) The ability to customize themes in the UI and use via the API was nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1) I wish there was a "filling out" mode for before a user is signing and is filling out the form and we could allow users to save progress. We regularly hear I spent x time filling it out but had to stop, why can't you save my progress so I don't have to start over.
2) Pre-selecting radio buttons and checkboxes wasn't possible during document creation like we are able to pre-fill for other data types. This required a silly work around of creating the doc, then editing the doc with the desired pre-selection options for the radio buttons. This was additional work and slowed down the creation procress.
3) I wish we could provide a custom list of varables for users to use during template creation. In order for docs to work with pre-filling we need them names a specific way and getting users to follow that schema is impossible / terrible UX thus we haven't rolled out this ability to our users despite them asking for it.
4) This is mute for us now as we solved it, but the ability to have signers and assigned fields removed if no signer is passed in would have been a time saver. There are potentially 6-8 signers on a given template but for any given use it could be less thus before we created every permutation. Now we create the max signers template and during doc creation reduce the number of signers and their assigned fields to those needed...would be nice if ya'll handled that.
5) Document creation time could be improved. We've done some optization on our end but it still takes ~30-60 seconds for larger packets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SignNow API is making our waiver signing and storage process a breeze compared to our previous method of filling, downloading, verifying, and then uploading a PDF file! ServiceReef had done all the background work to implement the connection so even a novice could get things working. We have the ability to create templates which get signed by our short term missions participants on an almost daily basis. Thanks for all the support! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few areas we would like to see improved. File naming for export is one example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was really easy to integrate signNow into our workflow. The system was easy to implement for things like getting clients to digitally sign as well as getting counter signatures and more. We use signNow on a dialy basis and are impressed by it's reliability and features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't anything specifically bad about signNow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We love the fact that we can access and create in person signing links via API for our document management system. The API works really well with our middleware system between our EMR and SignNow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only downside to the API is the API pricing model of per envelope as opposed to per seat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We used the SignNow API to integrate the e-signing of PDF forms for our custom software application for the legal market. It's been working well for the past 3 years and they are constantly making improvements and adding new functionality. Their support is also excellent and helpful whenever we needed them. We evaluated all the top players and are happy with the product and the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We worked with the initial version of their API, which took a little while to get going, but their later versions are much more robust, streamlined and easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The API was easy to use and we were able to implement it within 30 days. Our SaaS software uses SignNow to resell eSignatures.
What we do that is different is use a master account and charge our users per envelope.
Their support has been great and they answer our questions all quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am not sure to be honest. I think what I would recommend is a better counter on their side to show us how many envelopes we are away from a renewal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about the signNow API is that it helps to increase the sales in massive amount. The sales which used to happen before using the signNow API has been increased tremendously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing which i dislike about yhe signNow API is that it lead to increase in the cost to sales which in turn lead to reduce the profit margin by a quite decent percentage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

From a technical standpoint, SignNow's API was simple to follow and implement. With an hour of work, I got the sequence of my intended workflow figured out and tested. Also their leadership valued long-term relationships and was willing to work with us on a win-win deal structure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Stamp field comes across as an afterthought. It assumes that the document must be scanned with a high-res scanner, not an uploaded stamp picture.
They have a powerful embedded sending, which uses their email template with very few places to personalize by us. So we had to develop our email functionality to include our branding the way we wanted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
