I like being able to preview the videos without having to click into each one individually. The preview feature saves me time as I can hover over or click on a video to see what's inside. I think the concept of boards is kind of confusing. I don't understand how that compares against the folders. I also think the onboarding videos are too long. The functionality to have custom fields. I love being able to tag our products accordingly and then easily search for said products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Air? If I have a custom field filtered to select ALL of the options available in my custom fields, I wish there was the ability to select "is empty" rather than having to individually select every item available in a particular custom field. We utilize these for filtering by our specific glasses color names, and there are nearly 100 options available. We are able to easily filter and search for the assets we need based on custom fields we have in place. Affordable pricing with great value. Easy to use and very straight-forward. Easy accessibility by an entire team. The team at Air is very open to feedback and happy to jump in and help whenever you have a question. We use Air almost daily with numerous partners and they seem to love it, too. I tried to use the uploader by several folders from our previous DAM somehow got dumped into different Air boards than we intended. I had to take time to go through and re-organize them. Previously, we were using a platform that is not historically a DAM, but we'd still upload all of our photos there and share them with the team. With our previous platform sharing was clunky and we all shared one password and log-in credentials. Air gives our team the opportunity for each person to have their own credentials and password. We also have granted access to specific boards to certain people outside of our team. The search functionality is better than our previous platform, too. I love Air's intuitive design, which really caters to visual people like me and my team. The UI/UX are designed for visual navigation, making it feel like it was made for us. I also find the plain language search feature incredibly helpful when looking for specific assets. It's essential for our workflow, as it allows us to quickly filter by media type and scrub through video clips without having to open or download them. One annoying issue with Air is that when a logged in user opens an Air link, it treats them as a non-logged in user until they've refreshed the page. Collaborators often ask me for access when they already have access but don't know they need to refresh the page after opening an Air link. Being able to restrict download access on certain files would be a helpful feature. Air helps me collaborate with clients. You can not only upload and organize complex material but also comment and discuss every part of it. Even metadata. I like the minimal interface and the ability to create libraries and workspaces. Also, you can easily provide your clients with specific links to upload files and to access the desired data. I have been using Air for a few years now for our design team to manage our assets and photography. I appreciate its visual-forward content management capabilities, especially as an alternative to Google Drive, which isn't media-friendly. The ease of accessing and viewing design assets and photographs is significantly enhanced with Air's visually appealing interface. One of the standout features is its robust search functionality, which allows me to quickly and efficiently find specific photography, such as searching for all images containing a phone. This feature helps immensely when matching photography to specific web page requirements. Additionally, the tagging feature is particularly useful for organizing and locating assets quickly. I do think there needs to be continued improvements on the preview images as they don't work half the time, and they're not customizable. So that's a downfall for me. And the price is pretty steep. What do you dislike about Air? The price is too high. For all creative assets (video, design, photo, etc) the costs of storage here simply don't make sense. We're needing to use other services to manage certain assets which is not good for Air's use case. I wish it could act as a mounted storage space too. The only thing I really dislike is that if I want a board to have a thumbnail, the image has to be inside the board itself.
