The free use and checks so you can verify your code before even publishing it to end users and start making money to consider a pro account

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

That the free account only connects to your main branch (i'd prefer a different branch for development purposes) and that I am not able to export issues into f.e. JSON

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pricing is hard for start up. increasing number of customers asking for reports but don't justify the price of delivering it.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security reviews

 ### 8. Refined Findings That Keep Reviews Fast and Relevant

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edzon L. | Tech Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

its refined findings. we don't have to check each one if they are all relevant

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

Nothing to dislike. But if anything, I feel like the free plan could have a few more features. Like having code quality enabled with a fixed rules framework(maybe aligned to OWASP) and only having configurability on other plans.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

helps us to make sure nothing falls in between the cracks and keeps our system compliant

 ### 9. Rapid setup (minutes), human support (no bots) and a fantastic solution.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike W. | Technology Pioneer Working Group Member, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

The combination of SAST/DAST/CSPM/SBOM/RASP (and other capabilities) is astoundingly useful. All-in-one security scanning and configuration validation may seem mythical and impossible, but it demonstrably is not. It's just that nobody was doing it well.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

For a young company, you can forgive the fact that there are not as many enterprise capabilities in the platform just yet, but that is definitely something they are aware of and working on as evidenced by the ability to enroll the entire AWS Organization instead of having to enroll each tenant account separately for the cloud security posture management scanning.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because the solution provides code and cloud modules, it is possible to link a repo scan (inside risk) with an API or web application scan (outside risk) for an integrated view of real exposure of vulnerabilities. But one of the features that is most valuable in my experience is taking on legacy code risk using the Zen Firewall as a RASP capability. This "in-app" firewall brings swift mitigation of common failings for inherited APIs and other apps whose authors have usually left the company and who never implemented rate limiting or blocking rules/logic.

 ### 10. Great Mix of Static Code Analysis and AI—Easy GitLab Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

I like the mix of static code analysis with AI, the ease to interface it with my own private gitlab servers and the fact that it's a european solution!

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

If anything, some AI-generated assessments and auto-fixes are occasionally wrong, but a human would probably make the same mistakes when they don’t know the details of how the code works.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company develops a lot of software internally, both manually and with the help of LLMs, and we also review third-party software development. Aikido significantly speeds up our code security reviews and helps us catch critical flaws before they ever reach a server.

 ### 11. An all-round vulnerability management system that is affordable for small to mid-sized businesses

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan E. | Security Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

In the 9 months we have been using Aikido, we have been very impressed with the offering. They have a significant number of tools available (SAST, SCA, attack surface scanning, etc.) and they are adding something new every month or two that makes me go "ooh, that's nice". The user interface is a bit of a learning curve, but ultimately it is servicable.

The scans themselves are fast and don't impact the performance of our systems in any noticeable way. They run automatically once a day and update the list of known issues. It doesn't do anything that any of the big competitors (Tenable, Qualys, etc.) don't, but a big difference is the pricing. It is a fraction of the price those other products ask, and the limits on the paid plans are very reasonable (we've only had to upgrade a limit once, and that costed a few euro's a month extra).

The products doesn't allow as much customizability as for instance Tenable allows, but as a tradeoff, setting up was extremely easy; configure your integrations (Gitlab, Github, AWS, etc.) with standards tokens, wait a few minutes and everything begins populating with your projects.

We've had to reach out to product support a few times, and every time they were very quick, friendly and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

There aren't any major issues with Aikido, but there a few things that I feel Aikido could do different, namely:
- The UI and scans themselves aren't very configurable. Don't expect a system that allows you to tweak every minor details of every minor scan
- The findings are divided into a number of categories (VMs, Code, Cloud Scanner). You cannot group items together to get one easy overview. For instance, if you want to group the code of a specific repository, the sBOM of the built code and the scan of the VM the code is running on, you can't. You have to navigate back and forth to match findings from different categories.
- The UI could use a bit of care to improve UX. For instance, we had issues where we couldn't delete an old asset that we used for testing purposes.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Aikido as our first line of vulnerability detection. It's various scans cover the broad strokes of what we want to do to detect any security issues, all from the same dashboard.

So now Aikido scans all our source code, any built artefacts, container images, software packages once every day. We use it to get a clean dashboard of all our (potential) security issues and can prioritize which issue should be resolved first. We also allow our developers access to the findings, so they can give feedback on items they feel were scored too high, or too low so the communication regarding these issues is also improved. Furthermore, it is a great motivator to see that from one release to the next, the number of relevant security issues went down, so it has helped us motivate the developers to fix these issues.

 ### 12. Good free tier but steep pricing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

Regular scans of our codebase flag potential issues early. It has a reasonable free tier that could be useful for most people, and it also produces reports that help give partners added assurance.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

The pricing structure doesn’t really work for micro businesses with just a few people. There’s a huge jump from the free plan to the lowest paid tier, which makes it hard to justify upgrading.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We keep a close eye on our codebase to support our security work. It also helps give customers confidence that we’re identifying issues and addressing them as they come up.

**Official Response from Michiel Denis:**

> Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. We’re really glad to hear the free tier and regular scans have been useful.

You’re right that the jump from free to paid can feel steep for very small teams. Our paid plans are designed for growing teams that need deeper coverage and reporting. Feedback like this matters to us, and we use it when evaluating how we package, price, and evolve both our free and paid plans over time.

 ### 13. Developer and web agency owner

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

I think it is a great tool, especially for small firms, as it combines the ability to not only perform Pentests, but also to audit open source js, and PHP dependencies of possible known security issues, and when to upgrade, as well as performing SAST scans, with suggested fixes. Many tools only do either Pentesting or perform an SAST scan, as well as an open source dependency scan

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

My tests of the Zen Firewall were a bit buggy. It would seem that there is quite a delay in the changes made to code, and to what appeared in the Aikido interface.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Aikio we can automate the process of auditing our code and infrastructure to offer our clients the peace of mind, that what we deliver to them is secure. By integrating such a tool, we are able to let Aikido do the heavy lifting, so that we can focus on coding, without the hassle of performing all the tests, and audits every time we commit code.
We are also interested in utilising the Aikido Zen, to add an extra layer of security on top of what we already use, and eliminate the need to set up separate cloudflare accounts for each project.

 ### 14. Practical, Focused, and Great Value for Developers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elene T. | User Acquisition Spacialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

What I like most is how practical it is in day-to-day development. The feedback is focused and low-noise, so engineers actually pay attention to it instead of ignoring alerts. On top of that, custom rules let us encode our own coding standards and domain knowledge, which makes code reviews faster and more consistent across the team. Also when you buy a subscription you get more than AI code reviews, a lot of stuff already included which makes the tool valuable for its cost.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

The tool works really well and has nothing negative to say.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us catch issues early, speed up PR reviews, and enforce our own coding standards through custom rules, so code stays consistent and high-quality across the team.

 ### 15. Easy handling, ideal for start-ups

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

I appreciate the ease of use of Aikido Security with a pen, which makes it easier for me to use. Additionally, the connections that the system offers are also valuable to me.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

So far no negative points

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Aikido Security for pen tests to test our system and achieve certifications.

 ### 16. No noisy ai code review tool for devs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vahagn V. | Frontend Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

What I like most is how low-noise it is compared to most code quality and security tools I have used.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

Overall, I have no significant complaints about the product itself.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us do code reviews faster, catch issues earlier before they reach production, and avoid wasting time on repetitive or low-value comments. On top of that, we can put our own business logic and coding standards into custom rules, so important knowledge is enforced automatically and reviews stay consistent across the team.

 ### 17. As a startup with limited resources, Aikido is an essential tool in our development workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rich W. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

Aikido has been a game-changer for our startup. With limited engineering resources, we rely on it to continuously monitor our GitHub repos for vulnerabilities and code issues. The automatic AI-generated PR fixes have saved us countless hours and helped us stay secure without slowing down development.

What we really value is how Aikido points our dev team directly to the problems that matter most. It keeps us focused, proactive, and in control. Plus, the clear, client-ready reports make it easy to communicate our security posture to stakeholders. For any startup looking to scale securely, Aikido is an invaluable tool.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

If there's one challenge we've faced with Aikido, it's that the platform offers so many powerful features—vulnerability scanning, compliance support (ISO, SOC 2, Cyber Essentials), SBOM generation, and more—that it can sometimes be difficult to communicate the full value in a simple, unified way to non-technical stakeholders.

Because of how comprehensive Aikido is, there's occasionally a perception that multiple tools are still needed for different compliance needs. It takes some effort to convince decision-makers that Aikido truly consolidates all these capabilities into a single product. A more streamlined way of presenting its all-in-one nature could go a long way in helping both technical and non-technical users fully appreciate its breadth.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aikido Security is solving several critical challenges for our team:

Limited engineering resources: As a startup, we don't have the luxury of a dedicated security or DevSecOps team. Aikido acts as a force multiplier by automatically scanning our GitHub repos for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and other risks—without requiring manual oversight.

Fixing issues efficiently: The AI-generated PR fixes are incredibly valuable. Instead of just telling us what's broken, Aikido helps us fix it fast, which has dramatically reduced our time-to-remediation.

Prioritisation and noise reduction: Aikido surfaces the most relevant and actionable issues, helping our dev team focus on what really matters. This is key for keeping up velocity without compromising on security.

Client and stakeholder reporting: Aikido makes it easy to demonstrate our security posture to stakeholders, auditors, and clients. Whether it's showing SBOMs, compliance progress for frameworks like ISO or SOC 2, or vulnerability trends, the reporting is clear, credible, and easy to share.

 ### 18. Aikido Security: Easy Setup, Seamless Code Protection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angel I. | Senior Manager, Privacy & Information Security, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

I appreciate that Aikido Security offers a single plane of glass with everything in one queue, which is very important to me. It's simple to use and a real time saver. I also like the better price and the much better relationship it offers compared to the previous product we used. The initial setup was extremely easy.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

Nothing

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Aikido Security for code scanning issues and managing secrets. It's simple to use with a single plane of glass interface, saving time and offering a better price and relationship than Snyk.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

Everything is fine. Nothing major to mention.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that Aikido Security provides actions and tasks that are specific, actionable, and clear to understand. It's easy to integrate into existing workflow tooling, and the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

Pricing is high for a startup/small company to leverage some of the better features

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Aikido Security for code analysis, managing dependency risks, and ensuring implementation of security best practices.

**Official Response from Michiel Denis:**

> Thanks for the review, Darragh! Glad you like our code analysis and risk scanning. The step from free to paid can feel noticeable for very small teams. Our paid plans are built for teams that are scaling and need more comprehensive coverage and advanced reporting. We truly value this kind of feedback, and it plays a role in how we think about packaging, pricing, and improving both our free and paid offerings over time.

 ### 37. Easy Navigation and Clear Route & Request Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

I like that it shows me the routes available in my application, including how many requests have been sent to each one. I also appreciate how easy it is to navigate around the site.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

Probably the main issue for me is that it doesn’t have a dark mode toggle, and the white theme affects my eyes quite a bit.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aikido has been helping me solve a few rate-limiting issues, and it’s also helping protect my application from certain scrapers, which I like a lot. It reduces a lot of the noise reaching my origin, and that’s been really useful.

 ### 38. Helpful tool for the SSDLC

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

Minimize false positives and the ability to view suggested solutions in SAST.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

Integration in some IDEs is more difficult or unstable, but with a bit of tweaking, you can still implement it.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compliance... The primary problem that Aikido can solve is compliance, whether it is ISO 27001 or CRA in the future. But either way, it is a good tool for SSDLC.

**Official Response from Michiel Denis:**

> Hey there – Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! We appreciate your honest feedback. Would you be able to reach out to us directly (through our in-product chat) and share which IDE plugin you installed? We're interested to learn how we can improve, and how we can help you out. **Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

Its pretty easy to use and the Support is very friendly!

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

An "proof by non AI" would be nice as a feature.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No need of extensive pentesting anymore!

 ### 40. Automatic Vulnerability Checks with Helpful Code Suggestions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

Automatic code checks that look for vulnerabilities and provide suggestions for changes.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

Lost some features from freemium. As startup, it might be a bit expensive

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The only things I really know in IT security are SQL injections and API leaks. Aikido is a really good tool that helps me avoid being stuck on security, or letting security become a brake on our development.

 ### 41. Effortless Setup and Clear Issue Tracking with Aikido

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett R. | Co-founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

I liked Aikido's ease of use and ease of implementation. It made it very easy to get started with discovering gaps in your implementations. The way that Aikido does a good job outlining and presenting issues.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

The pricing structure is aggressive for smaller developers, but they have a great free offering. Sometimes the "daily" tests would not complete correctly for us.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aikido reviews our applications and lists any vulnerabilities that it may have.

 ### 42. No BS and straight forward security monitoring to implement and setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

I have used a few providers in this space but Aikido was the simplest to use and setup. The product has great UX and an intuitive way to navigate around compared to the competitors in this space. The most useful feature by far is the security feed. Aikido filters out a lot of noise so you only see issues which are actually useful and worth your time to investigate and resolve. Other tools I’ve used tend to overwhelm with irrelevant alerts and noise, but Aikido helps to keep things focused. Customer support is top notch too, sometimes I wonder whether the team sleeps.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

At this point, nothing. When I first started using them, VM scanning wasn’t available, but they added that functionality just a couple of months later. From a security monitoring perspective, they now cover everything I need.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aikido helps with our security posture. They also provide a number of reports which are invaluable for our sales team to use when dealing with prospects.

 ### 43. Fast and Efficient Security Scanning with Aikido Security

**Reviewed by:** Babacar D.

I like that Aikido Security is very fast to use and well documented. It's also basically free, which is a big plus for me.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

I'm quite happy with the experience overall.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Aikido Security to scan my open-source projects on GitHub for vulnerabilities and security risks, and it helps me solve them very fast.

**Official Response from Michiel Denis:**

> Hey Babacar – Thanks for the kind words! Glad you like using the product. Don't hesitate to drop us a line in case you have any questions or thoughts!

 ### 44. Effortless Setup, Peace of Mind Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kjell K. | Software Engineer

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

I use Aikido Security for pentest and security issues, and it gives me peace of mind. The initial setup was pretty easy, taking just a couple of minutes.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

I wish I could copy the issues information as markdown.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Aikido Security for pentest and security issues, and it gives me peace of mind.

 ### 45. Great insight to security and vulnerability

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alwaleed A. | Owner and programmer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

I like the reports I did not know much about security but with the reports it was so great that you know that much data about your product.

The second thing is the email alerts when you being warned that this new vernability have been patched or fixed and this is how much remaining this is give you a little push to continue improving your code.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

It does not provide or help when it's coming regarding two things the first one is does not provide a report about PDPL Personal Data Protection Law.

The second thing is compliance for a small company that's only make so little money we don't know we cannot afford the compliance we want to show our client that we care for them and if this product to get help us in the future to do that with a small subscription that will be great.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There is sometimes a lot of fuzz about packages some code I'm with a lot of requests from the customers you have to build some features and when you use those packages or use other people's code you find out that there is a lot of vulnerabilities but if you don't have the tool to to scan it you're not catch it this is where Aikido can do come in.

 ### 46. Easy to set up, easier to recommend after the product identifying a number of critical issues!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wesley t. | CEO of "The XSS Rat", Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

Aikido Security was super easy to set up, there is a lot of options and it has great and direct customer support! The project can be used easily and automatically, it even integrates with containers such as our docker images.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

The variety of options is great but it can be overwhelming from time to time. Thankfully, Aikido offers great support that can help you get the most of this great product.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This may sound funny, but as an educator, I develop labs that are supposed to be hacked. Keeping an overview of our exploits through the entire SDLC is more than a challenge, it's a monumental one!
Thanks to Aikido Security, we are now able to integrate an automated overview of our entire product catalogue. Additionally, Aikido Security helps us protect our sections of code which are not supposed to be vulnerable, like our discord bot which is written in python and our blog website which is written in PHP.

**Official Response from Michiel Denis:**

> Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Aikido as an educator, Wesley! Love to read we're able to bring you a consolidated overview across the SDLC!

 ### 47. Finally, a Security Tool That Cuts Through the Noise

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julien S. | Director, Product Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

Aikido has been a great fit for our needs, with broad coverage across use cases and excellent support whenever we’ve needed it. Compared to other tools we’ve tried, it does a much better job at reducing noise and surfacing what actually matters, which saves our team a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

Enterprise ready, broad set of features and amazing support team!

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aikido helps us manage security across a wide range of codebases and dependencies without drowning in false positives. The platform consolidates what we need into one place, reduces noise compared to other tools, and gives our team clear, actionable insights. This saves time, improves focus, and helps us address real risks faster.

**Official Response from Michiel Denis:**

> Thanks for leaving us a review, Julien! Glad to see you like using Aikido.

 ### 48. Impressive AI Analysis, But Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Security and Investigations | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

I really like the AI feature, and how they do the actual analysis, and how they use AI to describe it in the specific use case.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

I would really like that they implemented more languages within the visual studio code extension of Aikido. And i would secondly also really like that they made it easier to do local CLI, kinda a big part of what im missing from Snyk, else Aikido has been much better.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving that i am normally a bit paranoid and not so confident in the security of my code because of reputation, this solves this insecurity by a lot. Thanks Aikido!

**Official Response from Michiel Denis:**

> Thanks for your thoughtful review. Glad to read you’re enjoying Aikido’s AI-powered analysis and that it’s helping you feel more confident in your code security!

You’re right, in the free version of Aikido's product VS Code is currently limited to JavaScript and Python. When it comes to Local Scanning: this is also part of our paid offering (more information on our pricing page and our Help Docs).

We’ve enabled broader language support & local scanning for you for the next 30 days so you can explore these a bit more. Enjoy!

 ### 49. Security Posture Review: Aikido Security Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** palak k. | Security tester, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

Aikido consolidates multiple scanners into one platform, including SAST (source code), SCA (dependencies), Container Scanning, and IaC (Infrastructure as Code) scanning. This accurately reflects its "all-in-one" approach. Its ease of use and integration is top notch. Customer support is exceptional in case you need help.

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

Aikido lacks ability to build and enforce complex, multi-layered security policies across the entire orginzation.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the security in development lifecycle. By automatically triaging alerts and showing only the "reachable" vulnerabilities that matter and eliminates noise. Integrates directly into their existing tools like GitHub/GitLab. Empower team to context they need to fix security issues themselves, quickly and confidently, without needing to wait for a security expert.

 ### 50. Aikido Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Aikido Security?**

As an IT professional, I can say that Aikido Security has been a fantastic asset for our cybersecurity. Its intuitive interface makes management straightforward, while proactive threat detection helps us stay ahead of potential issues. The end-to-end encryption gives us peace of mind about our sensitive data, and the automated response features have dramatically reduced recovery times during incidents. Plus, their training resources have been invaluable for keeping our team informed about the latest threats. Overall, it's a solid choice for any organization looking to enhance their security posture!

**What do you dislike about Aikido Security?**

While I appreciate Aikido Security, there are a few downsides I've noticed. Sometimes, the initial setup can be a bit complex, especially for teams that aren’t familiar with the platform. Additionally, while the automated features are great, they can occasionally lead to false positives, requiring extra manual oversight. I also wish there were more customization options for certain security policies to tailor them better to our specific needs. Lastly, the pricing can add up if you want access to all the advanced features. Overall, it's solid but has a few areas that could use improvement.

**What problems is Aikido Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aikido Security is tackling some significant challenges in cybersecurity that have really benefited us. One major problem it solves is the prevention of data breaches with its proactive threat detection, which has drastically reduced our exposure to risks. The platform also simplifies security management, making it easier for our team to monitor and respond to potential threats without feeling overwhelmed. Plus, its automated incident response feature helps us react quickly, minimizing downtime during security events. Overall, Aikido has made our cybersecurity efforts more efficient and effective, giving us greater confidence in our data protection.

**Official Response from Michiel Denis:**

> Hey there – Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! Great to hear you enjoy our platform's intuitiveness and how it helps keep you informed and proactive.

We'd love to hear how we can improve our onboarding experience. Do you mind reaching out to us via the in-app chat function with a bit more detail (how you connected your repos, if you're using local scanner...)?
