I love the engagement and the many different features that AhaSlides offers. It makes creativity, which I find difficult, a lot easier. I particularly love the live results and the little moving emojis I can add, which allow me to reach different generations. The initial setup was also super easy. I have the 100 participants, which I usually need a 150-200 sometimes. So it's limitations on that without going to a huge different cost and bracket. I also find that the accessibility for, like, adding a PowerPoint into AhaSlides, you have to do a lot of key features to it. Those are not the best. Also, I don't like how the AI is automatic. I also love the online feature. In my case, when I’m going to present to students, I usually send a PDF to a group chat, which uses up their data and offline storage. As an L&D Lead, I’ve used tools like Menti, Kahoot, and DirectPoll, but this platform stands out as far more effective. The ChatGPT integration significantly reduces the time needed to create questions for polls and quizzes, which is a big advantage. The customization options, music features, and detailed reports deserve special mention areas where I’ve faced limitations with other platforms. While I use the Pro annual version, my extended team benefits from the free version, which still allows them to engage smaller audiences effectively, including features like leaderboards that I haven’t seen as well implemented elsewhere. This is my go to platform for all my training events. Also I must mention about the customer support, when I had some issue, I went in to chat and pinged the same, but I could not stay around but to my surprise they followed up until I was comfortable. I love how easy it is to make interactive questions and contributions for online workshops. Allowing participants to contribute during online training; often people are less likely to speak up in large groups but are happy to participate by scanning a QR code and sharing their thoughts anonymously. The only downside is that the Choices are not visible on the screen, so if we host an event on a projector as well as device, (projector on screen for audience) the device can see all the answers, but the audience cannot. As a university teacher, I’ve been testing the free plan of AhaSlides to create interactive quizzes and activities for my students, and the experience has been great so far. The platform is intuitive, easy to set up, and makes classes feel much more dynamic and engaging. What I value the most is how simple it is to create live quizzes and interactive presentations without needing advanced technical knowledge. The students respond really well to the interactive features, and it helps keep them focused and participating during lessons. Even on the free plan, AhaSlides offers enough functionality to properly test the platform and explore different teaching possibilities.
