Athena offers its users tons of way to review Market Trend in Paid and Organic Terms of your choosing as well as a way to view what your competitors are doing via search keyword groups. It also allows you to see Competitor ads which comes in handy when looking to rework our own paid ads to stand out. Also the infringement section Comes in handy to see where competitors are bidding on your branded terms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Adthena? Some basic features you would think they would have are not included like seeing in head to head comparison the actual keyword lists and related overlaps.Also sometimes setting up reports are a little clunky and not visually the best. I tend to lean on other tools for that. The UI isn’t the best, I find myself clicking constantly to find that one report. Also I would love if there were more option to exporting charts as well as a way to change the competitors list in charts. While some sites do indeed tank for our terms they aren’t necessarily in the same field as us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Adthena: Think about how you want to use the software and what reporting is important. The main problems we are solving for are Brand infringement on PPC bidding and having a view into Competitive spend and ad copy in markets that are kore saturated with other schools. It's super easy to set up, uses AI to analyse your website and then everything you need is literally a few clicks away. Not only you can see if your competitors are running AB tests, but you can also see a prediction of their scores. Their support is also really quick to reply to any issues and are very helpful. Overall I can mainly think of positives and barely any negatives. None that are major flaws anyway. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Adthena? There's not enough historical data. The period which you can look back into is quite short. Also the screenshots of the ad copy is not of the actualy SERP page but is different design, which is not a major problem but looks a bit weird in presentations. Copyright infringement, competitor monitoring, share of voice monitoring and analysing competitors websites and where we are missing out on potential keywords that can bring traffic to our site. Also we can make predictions on competitor investment in the different search engines, which could be helpful during the festive season for example to justify the need for more budget. Unless you use this tool daily and across everything you do, fail to see how a model like this is justifiable. For large clients, we're talking $100K's. They have a great pitch and decent sales team. So far the tool continues to impress the team and one of the great things about Adthena is their customer success team who are there with you every step of the way. As an agency we work with multiple clients at a time, as such we rely on digital marketing tools to give us that extra insight needed to optimise performance and Adthena is leaps and bounds ahead of other solutions. With Adthena we’re able to quickly and clearly see our competitive landscape. From here we can see who our competitors are, what they’re bidding on and what their ad copy looks like. Brand infringement is another issue we have to deal with regularly and Adthena’s automatic monitoring is extremely useful. We can even see competitors share of voice and spend in paid search so that we can react and adapt strategies accordingly. We’ve already used the tool to wow our existing clients and reveal a level of detail about search competitors that they didn’t even know they had!
