**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

day to day photo edits, tweaks and adjustments, touch ups

  ### 2. After thirty years, it is still the best option for image editing.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos A. | Senior Designer and Creative Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

I have been using Adobe Photoshop since the late 1980s, and even after nearly four decades, I am still as enthusiastic and impressed with this program as I was on day one. It is an essential tool for preparing files for print, web, and app design, and I highly recommend it.

In terms of Ease of Use, Photoshop is intuitive once you understand its professional features, and I use it almost daily, so the Frequency of Use in my case is very high. The Ease of Implementation is also excellent, as it installs quickly, integrates well with other Adobe products, and works seamlessly with drawing tablets.

Today, I use Photoshop not only for image editing but also for digital drawing and creative design. It allows me to create artwork, commercial illustrations, and visually impactful projects for my clients.

The latest versions include features that significantly enhance workflow, such as product mockup creation, new creative tools, and automated actions that streamline repetitive tasks, making them much faster and more efficient.

In my experience, Photoshop is the industry standard: indispensable for illustrators, graphic designers, photographers, and web designers. Unlike basic mobile apps, which are suitable for beginners, Photoshop is designed for professionals who require precision, quality, and consistent results.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

What I like the least about Photoshop are some of the changes in the newer versions that have made the workflow a bit more complicated. For example, the option to directly export for the web was removed, which was a very practical feature. I also find that managing color profiles can be confusing—there are simply too many options, and it’s not always clear which one is best. Personally, I stick to one standard profile, the same one my providers use, to ensure consistency.

Another area that feels more complex now is creating duotones for spot-color printing. In older versions, this process was easier, while now it feels somewhat cumbersome. Additionally, the automatic masking tools are not always precise: edges often come out too sharp, almost as if “cut with scissors,” so I usually need to refine them manually to achieve a professional finish.

That said, these are relatively minor issues. No software is perfect, and despite these limitations, Photoshop remains my preferred and indispensable tool for creative work, both artistic and commercial. I also appreciate that Customer Support is available when needed, especially through Adobe’s online resources and community forums, which help resolve most issues efficiently.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Photo and image editing and retouching, mockup creation, high-resolution drawing and digital art, color adjustment, project presentation specifically for outdoor signage and advertising, and large-format printing.

  ### 3. Must have tool every designer needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel B. | Content Producer, Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

I appreciate how versatile Photoshop is. I use it for everything from photo editing and creating social media graphics to making mockups and trying out quick design ideas. The tools are powerful, yet once you become familiar with them, they are also quite easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

At first, it can be a bit overwhelming because there are so many tools and options to navigate. I’ve also noticed that it sometimes runs slowly, especially when I’m working with large files or if my computer isn’t performing well. Additionally, the cost can feel high for those who only use it casually.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool helps me create polished visuals for both work and personal projects. No matter what the project is, it provides the control and flexibility I need. It keeps my designs looking professional and allows me to experiment with different styles.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

Sometimes, if you do not know how to use the tools and features it can be very complicated to get what you need done and a manner that takes a lot of time

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping me re-create images, bringing them back to a real sharper image, as well as helping me create graphics and content that is.

  ### 5. Powerful, Widely Used, and with a Huge Community

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

The functionality and advanced editing options

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

It is quite expensive, the somewhat forced AI still gives uncanny valley

  ### 7. Never-Ending Possibilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Administration T. | Admin/Exec. Assistant/Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

The never ending possibilities to create your visions.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

The only dislike I have would be my own faults with the program, as the program continues to grow and become more intelligent. I too need to keep up with it, but sometimes do not have the time to fully dive into a class.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This gives me fully control over designs, allowing me endless possibilities to adapt an image exactly how I want. This benefits me by keeping me creative and away from the over-population of AI use.

  ### 8. Photoshop is boon for editing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neha B. | Graphic Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

It has a brush and editing tools that help remove the background from an image, then add new images and effects to create something new.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

It’s the clone stamp tool. I think Photoshop needs to improve it, because right now it doesn’t feel as reliable or polished as it should.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The hair-refining features when removing a person’s background and the masking feature in the Camera Raw Filter make things much easier now. Before, it was very difficult to do manually.

  ### 9. Decades of Excellence and Cutting-Edge AI Features

I've been using Adobe Photoshop since 1998, so I'm very used to it. And Adobe keeps improving the software, so it now has many AI features, and it's fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

I previously purchased this as standalone software, but it is now only available as SaaS, which makes it somewhat pricey.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run a small coffee shop and frequently take photos of our dishes to print as menus. Since I only have an iPhone, sometimes the pictures don't turn out as appetizing as I'd like. That's why I use Adobe Photoshop to edit them, and after some adjustments, the photos look much more delicious!

I have enjoyed the new AI features. It allows someone who may not be as well-versed in Photoshop to easily make edits and create new concepts.

I dislike how glitchy the program can be. It frequently crashes while i a in the middle of using it.

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

Industry standard for photo editing, with a great feature set. The new AI features are very welcome.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

Subscription practices are very poor, especially the way you get locked into the product. This seems to be the case across the Adobe suite, though. From a product standpoint, I find it difficult to fault.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a high-end image editor that would allow us to create logos and marketing materials, as well as edit existing images.

It also has some tools available that help in removing objects from the photo's background. This helps in enhancing my photos.

First of all, the text font can be made more attractive so that after writing the image text, it looks even more appealing.

I use Adobe Photoshop to enhance photo quality and improve poor photos with modern filters. Its excellent interface and numerous tools help in removing objects from the photo background, making the work easier.

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

I have been using PS for years, starting back in high school. It was clear to me even then that PS is very easy to use, even for a student like I was. The interface is user-friendly and great for beginners, with a complete set of tools especially for image editing and retouching. PS has remained one of my essential tools for work to this day.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

There’s really nothing I dislike about PS. The only minor issue I’ve noticed is with text—it tends to become blurred when I scale it.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I haven't encountered any issues. However, for vector editing, I simply use other Adobe software.

  ### 16. Great program for editing, enhancing and manipulating photos

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

I really enjoy Photoshops feature for removing the subject from a photo.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

The interface could be more intuitive and overall it can feel overwhelming when working through all of the tools and options.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Although the interface feels overwhelming I do like the way Adobe is providing a great collection of tutorials.

  ### 17. Creative Freedom with Advanced Editing Features.

Most of it is for real estate photos and cleaning up blemishes on construction.

  ### 20. Easy to Use with Impressive AI Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

Easy to use and it has a new feature like AI generated image, text to image, etc. Moreover, I mostly use Photoshop for my personal project such as digital painting, digital illustrated, sketch my idea - everything is meet my needs.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

I think it depends on the individual, whether they like it or not. For me, one thing that I don't like this much is high cost when using Adobe Photoshop. I've been using Adobe for more than 2 years, and honestly the cost is really high for newer or people with low-income. Another thing is Photoshop should limit continuous updates, which means every time I click to use, I get a notification asking for an update. This make me frustrated when I pause my task and wait for new update finish or even this make software a bit slower than before. Although, I am using an MSI Laptop, sometimes I feel the same way. So, I think Adobe Photoshop need to improve this in the future, and avoid something happen again.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quite good! It helps me save time by using a new feature like AI Generated or text to image when I want to change a little bit in my artwork.

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

Photoshop is an excellent tool for composition, image creation, and digital painting. And for creating GIFs, there's nothing better.Over the past few years, AI has been integrated into the software in a thoughtful manner, enhancing manual work and helping to save time, but without taking its place.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

Honestly, I'm not sure what to write here.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are often many challenges that come up during visual creation, but Photoshop consistently provides solutions for each of them. What I value most is its capabilities for collage work, such as adding an element onto a new background. Thanks to AI, cutting out elements has become much faster and simpler. Previously, I would manually create shadows and highlights using the brush tool, but since the 2026 update, the Harmonize feature has made this process both quicker and more effective, delivering high-quality results.

  ### 44. Love The Tool - Hate The Pricing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya A. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

I have used Canva, MS Paint, Snapseed, and many other photo editing tools. Nothing comes close to the might of Photoshop. Decades of research, native integration, and beautiful UI make it a no brainer for pros. I use Photoshop at least twice a week, there is attention to detail that is unmatched. The newer AI tools are also incredible.

Plus, Adobe has done a great job building the ecosystem wherein I am able to move from Photoshop to Lightroom (for color grading) or to Illustrator (for drawing vectors) or to Premier Pro (for video editing) effortlessly.

In photo editing, selecting the right set of pixels is the most critical part. There auto subject selection remains miles ahead of completion (and is super fast), and the manual selection tools are also refined in a way that they feel much more natural. Another thing I love about it is the filters, notably blur and camera raw filter which are both miles ahead of completion. Camera Raw Filter is a full pro-level color grading tool built into there UI. Blur while seems simple has many options like radial and gaussian blur to achieve the right looks.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

Despite loving the tool, I am getting to hate photoshop, and by extension Adobe every day. There pricing strategy is quite predatory, and most tools are priced to high. They have taken subscriptions to an extreme, and Adobe Cloud is absolute garbage. The walled garden that they created is no good. It's not easy to go out of Photoshop environment. On company machines, we get the latest Adobe software, but on my personal laptop I use older Photoshop because the 2025 Photoshop is not a financially wise decision.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I build advertisements, marketing copies, logos, infographics, and thumbnails, which are all critical for my job. I achieve this using Adobe suite, of which a valuable part is Photoshop/

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Troy L. | President/COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

There are a lot of powerful tools, including new AI features and many ways to manipulate photos and build great graphics. Specifically, I use this program for book cover design, social media images, and more.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

The cost has risen significantly in the last few years, and while powerful, sometimes this cost (for the full Adobe suite) is hard to justify.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem Adobe solves is the ability to create great looking graphics quickly and in a professional way. It allows me to manipulate stock or AI photography to the sixe, shape, and branded look I need. It's easy to use for the most part, and there are a ton of tutorials to help along the way.

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

The new AI tools are fantastic and really help when it comes to fixing difficult problems.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

The user interface isn’t as intuitive as I would like, and it takes more effort than I’d expect to find what I need.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ve noticed distortion issues from my lenses, along with odd facial expressions—like unexpected eye closings—and a posture that sometimes looks crooked. With Photoshop, I can adjust all of those.
