It is an all-in-one system for designing graphics, video, audio, and web elements. You have access to fonts, stock photos, templates, and more. It's completely essential to working graphic designers, photographers, and those needing to produce digital or print materials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While it is helpful to have a toolset this powerful, Cloud has a stranglehold on the industry and nearly a monopoly on the graphic design industry. When you are dealing with large books, magazines, etc. there are no other acceptable choices, which means you have to pay what ever Adobe asks, which is a lot. Once I have my specs and export locations set, exporting seamless. I much prefer using this over exporting from another adobe app.
I love how seamlessly I can hop from Premiere to Encoder simply by selecting to export with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't much guidance provided about specs to select. With advancements in AI, it would be awesome if Encoder could suggest the best specs / settings when exporting for your case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All the included tools are filled with functionality. Photoshop is the industry standard for photo editing, much like InDesign is for desktop publishing and Illustrator for vector graphics. The tools provide even advanced features, meaning you will rarely look for more advanced alternatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the applications may crash on times - mainly Premiere. The support is not good, but luckily, I have only needed it once in 10+ years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Media Encoder makes exporting videos easy. I can export one video through Encoder while editing another video in Premiere Pro. With an updated computer, Media Encoder will export your videos quickly and efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have very little to discuss on the dislike section. The only issue I have run into on occasion is videos not exporting properly and sound results in a syncing error. Sometimes Adobe's updates run into compatibility issues with updates on my Mac, but those generally get fixed in no time. It's still exponentially faster to export through Encoder than through Premiere Pro or After Effects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You can use Adobe Media Encoder to convert your audiovisual files to any format (that is currently supported by the Adobe Creative Cloud suite). This is just one of the many reasons why I continue to subscribe monthly to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. Additionally, if you work in robust programs such as Premiere Pro and After Effects, the Adobe Media Encoder is built directly into the programs. So if you want to see how a finished section of your timeline will look, you can set in and out points and render out your clip. This way you can watch it on the big screen to make sure everything is perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I honestly do not have anything negative to say about the Adobe Media Encoder. An additional free benefit with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite is many of these software programs are included in your membership. Not to mention any time there is a software update, you can update when you want. You are not handcuffed by those "automatic updates." You get to pick when and if you want to install the updates. Plus Adobe tells you what is included in the update. Furthermore, Adobe also releases beta test versions so you can play around to see how the new features will work. Also, Adobe wants to hear from their users to report any bugs or fixes they think of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It serves as a central hub for my Adobe experience. I can manage fonts, assets, files, and sharing through the Creative Cloud. In addition, it includes quick tutorials and resources to other valuable information within the Adobe ecosystem. It will be interesting to see what AI integration will do to the app as it did for the other Adobe applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the user interface could use a modern overhaul and make relevant topics more center stage. The file management system feels underdeveloped when it comes to some standard features usually associated with file managers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Creative cloud has amazing apps to help any creative business generate content in any form. It's really easy to install and use. Seamless install to all apps. All apps are integrated what makes a lot easyer to work with multiple formats. I use it every day to create amazing content to my clients. Another plus is the costumer support. They have a great help & FAQ section withc reduces the need to contact the costumer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the apps are getting better but it cosumes too much memory from my computer. I completely understandf the reason, but i hope cloud computing should play a bigger part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Does the job, but with hiccups. It works great on smaller projects, and batch conversions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The last major update re did the interface. Now instead of a simple interface showing everyhting you needed at once, everything is in a drop down menu, and sometimes you need to go into a drop down menu within a previous dropdown menu. It used to have such a cliean eafy to follow interface, but someone ruined it. Some long renders (progects over over 20 minutes) will have it hang for over an hourwhen the progress bar is at its done. Sometimes pausing and restarting the ender will make it finish, othertimes you ned to restart the project. Its not as efficient as it uesed to be Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Export multiple files at the same time. As a video editor and content creator, I have to use Adobe Premiere Pro continuously and also want to export files. Media Encoder is one of my favorite pieces of software where I can perform multiple exports while editing videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far, everything is perfect. Adobe Media Encoder saved my time and Energy a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This software enables me to render videos from Adobe Premiere Pro with just a click. It also has a number of video codecs which is very useful when you've a client who wants so many different quality videos of various sizes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like the fact that Adobe Media Encoder crashes every now and then which is very annoying when you've a lot on your table. Even after reporting it to Adobe so many times, they just don't wanna fix the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
