What do you like best about Adobe Illustrator?

Adobe Illustrator is my go-to tool for creating clean, scalable graphics for our marketing materials. Its vector-based design ensures crisp, high-quality visuals that can be scaled for everything from web use to large signage, while the ability to use multiple artboards allows me to organize entire campaigns in one file. Seamless integration with other Adobe apps like InDesign and Photoshop streamlines my workflow when developing brochures or product guides, and I love the customization options, including brushes and 3D plug-ins that help me experiment with textures to highlight our hardwood designs. Illustrator's precision alignment tools, grids, and smart guides are especially valuable for ensuring all elements are perfectly aligned, reflecting the craftsmanship of our furniture. Overall, it offers the flexibility, precision, and professional quality needed to bring our sleek, sustainable designs to life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Illustrator?

While Adobe Illustrator is an essential tool for my work, there are a few aspects I find frustrating. The learning curve can be steep for beginners, with a multitude of tools and options that can feel overwhelming. It can also be resource-intensive, causing occasional slowdowns or crashes, especially when working with complex files. Additionally, some basic functions, like image cropping or working with multiple layers, feel less intuitive compared to other Adobe programs, which can disrupt the design flow at times. Despite these drawbacks, its overall capabilities still outweigh the inconveniences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Illustrator solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adobe Illustrator solves several key problems for me as a graphic designer and marketer. First, it addresses the need for precision and scalability in design. Its vector-based format ensures that graphics like logos, product illustrations, and marketing visuals remain crisp and clear at any size, whether for a small social media icon or a large billboard, which is crucial for maintaining brand integrity. Additionally, its robust design tools allow for detailed customization, helping me experiment with various textures, layouts, and colors that reflect the high-quality craftsmanship of our solid hardwood furniture. The multiple artboard feature keeps my projects organized, enabling me to manage various campaign elements within a single file, saving time and ensuring consistency across all platforms. Ultimately, Illustrator enhances both efficiency and creativity, enabling me to produce professional, on-brand designs that elevate our marketing efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe After Effects?

After Effects is awesome software for Visual effects, 3D videos, and world-class motion graphics animation, it's fairly easy to learn and It is one of the most powerful and useful skills I have, Adobe After Effects has a lot of tools for editing or creating any type of video, be it color grading, Rotoscoping, 3D tracking, 2D motion tracking, and many more useful tools. I use it daily in my professional life, I am easily able to integrate it with other software like Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender 3D, Cinema4D, and many other tools. Thankfully I have never had to contact customer support, it works flawlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe After Effects?

It's great software but If I had to pick, I think that sometimes I face issues with real-time video playback, It just takes a while to cache preview sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe After Effects solving and how is that benefiting you?

Why do I use it? It's because I can bring my imagination to life. If I can think it, and imagine it, I can create it using After Effects. I think the most helpful thing about After Effects is that sometimes we need to visualize some ideas and product features, After Effects helps us here the most. We can see our imagination come to life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Premiere Pro?

The ease of use, communication with the Adobe suite, and the sheer breadth of capability from simple cutting to motion graphics. From presets to animating key frames or adding effects and color grading - it has it all. I rarely need another program. I even do graphic design in it from time to time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Premiere Pro?

Not being able to purchase the program outright, individually is concerning. Subscriptions are expensive. There is a pretty big learning curve, and it's not always intuitive to learn something new. Luckily, there's lots of guides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Premiere Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?

As someone who has worked in video production a number of years, I have used it for scaled narrative productions, documentaries, commercials, motion graphics, promotional corporate videos, all the way to YouTube video editing, creation of thumbnails and graphics, plus editing/compressing OTT level commercials from clients. Any video need I've ever had, I've been able to now solve with Premiere. Simply put, it's the most versatile Adobe program and I rarely need the others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

After effects is easy to use to create stunning graphics and animations to incorporate in video compositions. What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?

I always tweak my photos in Photoshop before uploading them to any social media platform. It's a great tool for photos. You can do several things, like color correction, manipulation, perfect social media resolution, and carousels while maintaining the highest quality, and that too very easily, all thanks to the incredible Generative fill tool I use very frequently. Photoshop also integrates seamlessly with After Effects, which is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?

What I like best about Adobe Photoshop is its powerful and (able to do many different things well) tools. From AI-driven features like automatic background removal to advanced layer management; it offers everything needed for professional-grade photo editing and graphic design1. Plus, its user-friendly (connecting point/way of interacting with something) makes complex tasks easier to manage. Furthermore, it is easy to implement and integrate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?

It is heavy and requires a lot of space. Furthermore, what I don't like about Adobe Photoshop is its **steep learning curve**. While it's incredibly powerful, mastering all its features can be (overloading and surrounding with too much of something) for beginners. Also, it can be **resource-intensive**, needing/ordering a high-performance computer to run smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adobe Photoshop solves problems like **photo mistakes and flaws** (e.g., noise, and exposure issues) and **design challenges** (e.g., creating complex graphics). This benefits me by allowing me to produce **high-quality, professional visuals** (in a way that produces a lot with very little waste), improving both personal and professional projects.
