## Adobe Connect Reviews
  ### 1. Adobe Connect used for online training session

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica Z. | Senior Logistics Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The most helpful part of Adobe Connect was the chat Windows that constantly stream hundreds of responses from other attendees and record the transcript for your chron files. Offering an easy way of finding answers to common questions.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

The downside of Adobe Connect is the video streaming. Many live video streams were displayed at once but many videos were disrupted by the static.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Advice to users considering Adobe Connect includes: install Adobe Connect the app before your meeting because the launching link and meeting details require the app pre-installed to function properly.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The business problems that Adobe Connect is helping me solve is off-site remote virtual training sessions that normally take place in an office building at a workplace.

  ### 2. Features and Faults

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlotte L. | I, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The features on the updated adobe connect platform are great. They work to create engagement through color, variance, and options. I love setting up a classroom and being able to prepare all of my layouts beforehand.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

Adobe Connect does not always like to connect. We will have days where we have to switch to google meets because it kicks people out, or audio is intermittent. The features are great but I think they take up lots of bandwidth now that we have moved to HTML. It seems like screenshare takes up a lot, the games sometimes lag, and sharing cameras is not possible without serious audio issues or freezing. I asked my class this week if they prefer google meets over adobe and their response was adobe when it works. Hopefully, as we return to the site and come off of VPN some of these latency issues will be resolved.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interaction and engaugement

  ### 3. It's a love/hate relationship

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erika M. | Founder & Principal Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

Adobe Connect is by far the most flexible and effective virtual classroom tool I've used. I love that all the pods can be visible at once, and you don't have to choose between seeing videos or presentation or chat. I love that ability to play videos directly in Adobe Connect and to have files and links available to attendees. Breakout room capability is good, though room set up could be streamlined.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

While I love the functionality of Adobe Connect, I do find that it's the most unstable of the platforms. I consistently have issues with being dropped (while I'm facilitating), which doesn't happen in the other platforms. The presentation pod can be very fickle and I often have to save my file in multiple formats before I find one that will upload. There are times when I've had the presentation start advancing on its own, which created total confusion in the class. Breakout rooms can be difficult to set up and still require you to go into every breakout room and adjust format vs. being able to truly copy an existing format. I have a question on my course evaluation form that asks about Adobe Connect and it consistently receives the lowest scores on my eval form.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Find yourself a great Adobe Connect producer who can run things behind the scenes as you are facilitating!

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Connect has enabled me to shift all of my offerings into a robust virtual environment that (when it functions properly) keeps people engaged.

  ### 4. Teaching made simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The option to upload a PDF and write on it, without having to download a separate program

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

There is no option to download a recording of the audio unless you sit on your computer through the length it takes the play the file, thus downloading it

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Adobe Connect is a great tool for teaching a large group of students

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teaching to a large group of students without them having their cameras on

  ### 5. Not enough space? Not intuitive, exceptional, nor stable.

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin C. | Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

It's better than nothing. Having a draw feature is better than nothing. The base features are better than a having something that is not made for presenting. And it doesn't take too much set up each time to use.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

Realistically you have to waste time teaching the students how to use the program. Then it doesn't have very many useful functions. Sharing onto the screen can only be done one file simultaneously, and navigating through folders is a hassle. Uploading into the files pod doesn't show up in the order that you click them.
Often the system is unstable, and students/teachers have difficulty communicating.
The notes box can't handle multiple people typing in it at the same time.
I think adobe was ok as an immediate response to the covid epidemic; however, it has seemed to be rather slow at improving the overall experience and largely feels like the same product we started with a year ago.
Adobe is not a singular product that covers the majority of my needs as a teacher. I also have to use other programs like google.drive and other pages to supplement adobe.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being unable to be in person with students because of COVID-19. There hasn't ben a huge benefit that I've noticed. I think its mostly used because it is what is provided to us to use.

  ### 6. Meeting at Adobe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

It is private and hard for non-participants to join since you need the room link to join. Also, it has plenty of features that help train and have meetings with large groups. My favorite part is that you can break people into teams to collaborate.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

It can be a little tricky to create a meeting and have it link with existing calendars. I'd be a good integration if this could be added.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it for team meetings during projects and at the company we use it for training purposes.

  ### 7. Hard to figure out at first but has some great features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah F. | instructor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The ability to have meetings/classes live or recorded for later use. Chat function and doorbell are the things I like the most.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

It is a cumbersome program, sometimes hard to figure out. I can usually figure out most things on my own but I had a very hard time trying to record my first video. Even after months of using it, I still struggled to do everything correctly.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Write down step by step instructions to help navigating for future use.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a useful tool for my students.

  ### 8. Number 1 tool for virtual training

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Iain C. | Corporate Trainer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

Adobe Connect stands out from basic meeting platforms due to the ability to customise it as needed. You can input notes, documents, share screens and activities as needed for the task at hand. I like the ability to input different widgets into share pods and I think it creates more of a group learning style rather than being lectured at through a video conferencing app.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

The least helpful feature of Adobe Connect would be the fact you cannot share computer audio whilst screen sharing. This can cause drawbacks if trying to show something like a call recording with screen capture. It would also be good to be able to clone breakout rooms quickly and easily or have all breakout rooms the same. Even if there was an option to edit the rooms without you being in them. It can be quite time consuming for a facilitator with a large group size to enter multiple break out rooms just to have them looking the same as each other.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Get involved with it! It can take boring meetings/training programs to the next level

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using Adobe Connect to facilitate onboarding material to hundreds of new hire agents across Europe. The great benefits are the visually impressive classroom the new recruits have to look at, as opposed to staring at the same background for 8 hours a day.

  ### 9. Useful but lacks options for user to user interactions

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin Eduardo R. | Supervisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

To be able to share content in different windows like a desktop computer, the different formats in which a host can upload content, the compatibility between the desktop app version and the web version is almost indistinguishable, also the easiness in which you can also get in from a mobile device, plenty of options given when using from different versions of the same software, its useful also in that each host could save their own files, and once uploaded no need to have the file on the computer anymore, its good also that its possible to customize the breakout rooms

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

The lack of chat options and engagement items like emojis, which would make it more interactive, the broadcast message option is not available anymore, a message that can be easily and quickly displayed was very effective for what we do, also on the newer versions there is nothing indicating what kind of environment you were working with if it was a training or webinar, sometimes you cannot have a private chat between hosts, there has been some connection issues recently where the app gets stuck loading

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Its a great tools for schools, webinars, and other places where being integrated on the same classroom is important

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A place in which to share content and updates with coworkers

  ### 10. Maximizing My Virtual Workspace With Adobe Connect

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monina M. | Team Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The very many functionalities that I can all use throughout my workday. I am on the adobe room for my entire workday and use it to monitor our teams in the morning. This is where I do my team huddles and one on one coaching. I am also a part of multiple rooms that I can get to simultaneously.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

I would have wanted the ability to respond directly to another person's response or query in the chat pods, but it is not too much of a bother considering that I can always use my microphone to address the team, which I always do anyway. Another capability I would like to explore is the "sending file" function which I know is there but I have not fully figured out how to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Just invest a little time to navigate the functions and you will see how great it will work for you

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe connect is great for virtual huddles and individual coaching sessions. I love that you have all the basics of a virtual environment plus additional benefits like creating breakout sessions. It is also easy to organize my day and enables me to multi-task, seamlessly moving from one task while still working on another. The notification sounds are very helpful when I need to be in another screen. I am also able to join multiple adobe rooms without much issues.

  ### 11. Works for groups but laggy/crashes with older systems

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah M. | Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

File sharing, interaction, breakout groups: it's great to have multiple hosts than can take care of different breakout groups. Another wonderful feature is the sharing of files and ability for everyone in the group to interact on the document viewer.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

Drawing tools functionality can be expanded together with writing symbols in textboxes. I can't understand also why the scrolling function is disabled when the drawing toolbar is present. I wish there is also more ability to manipulate picture files just like PDF. Finally, it has been an issue that Adobe Connect finds it hard to work with older computer systems and is sensitive to fluctuations in wifi signal/speeds. It can be nice also if the mobile/tablet versions of the software can retain the file sharing functionality.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Try to talk to the company to see how the software can be more suited to the requirements of the job. I believe that is what my organization did and so we have a better user experience as a result.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped our company continue doing business in the 3:1 model we uphold: a teacher (host) having to take care of 3 students (guests) at a time but with different content/subjects. The messaging box was beneficial in trying to keep communications even when a host is in a different room to the guest. The functionalities that the hosts are given over the guests are also very useful in keeping with the teacher-student roles.

  ### 12. Great Product to use for training classes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim S. | Learning And Development Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The share screen feature is great. Also, i love how you are able to share documents and whiteboards, as well as links and documents. I use the chat feature for all of my classes and find it very helpful. I think that it is easy for my end users to connect into the classroom using the links. I post the link when i create the class in my LMS. I love the file share feature and I love that i can also share a web link. I like that i am able to have multiple chat and polling windows open at the same time. I find this program easy to use and i think my end users also find it easy to use. Easy to connect to as well.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

i wish it were more interactive. Where people can raise their hands, give thumbs up etc. The other issue i have is with the audio. it is not very easy or user friendly to connect the audio through the classroom. I instead have to have the users call a number. I am hoping this gets fixed.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

na

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need a place where i am able to present in a classroom type of environment and i am able to do this with Adobe Connect. I love it. Skype is the other screen share program and it just doesn't work well if you have a lot of people attending. Adobe connect helps with this. I use it daily for my classes that i teach.

  ### 13. Kparsi review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin P. | Teacber, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

it's nice having breakout rooms and switch between them; allows for greater flexibility and the ability to connect one on one. It is nice to be able to share documents, but if we could write on the screenshare that could also be useful.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

The whiteboard is difficult to use (markers, text). Should be easier to erase, use different size markers, have bigger pages. Often I find myself running out of space and having to switch between pages, which can really be confusing for students. Connectivity has imporved but I am still finding myself to be kicked off too often. Also, sharing documents was annoying when we could only upload one at a time. Now it is better, but we still have to click on each item individually, and we can only select multiple from the same folder.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

It is definitely a useful tool. Takes time to get used to it but it can help your organization. There are details that need fixing, but if you can be patient it is relatively easy to use. Just make sure you are prepared beforehand because things can go wrong or unexpected. Of course, every application has its problems. It is relatively easy to switch between breakout rooms as compared to other sites like zoom. Overall, as long as you have yourself ready with plans A, B and C, you should have smooth class or conference.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to teach students virtually. One on one attention and switching between students has been a nice benefit. Usually allows for great connection.

  ### 14. COMMUNICATION AND LEARNING.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joaquin D. | Human Resources Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

Adobe Connect is a platform that offers its users a rich and consistent experience through a maximum service, it is a real-time communications software that allows us to initiate videoconferences, webinars, chats. It is a wonderful software that offers very complete features. Adobe Connect has a modern user interface obtaining a pleasant visual experience and a pleasant communication through the mass, it is a software that, unlike others, offers excellence in meetings as well as learning, Adobe Connect is a service that is designed to work in an optimized way, it is the best.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

Adobe Connect is flexible software that offers great solutions that work out of the box, with advanced features. It is a tool that has offered me great benefits, it has worked perfectly for me without any type of error, I have no dislike so far, it works perfectly.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

I recommend Adobe Connect to any work team and person in particular who needs to develop real-time meetings in a professional, flexible and simple way, it is a software that offers a high level, with a fabulous interface, wonderful features and advanced options. I recommend it because it offers excellence and success, it is very complete, providing just what we need to carry out our projects, collaborating to the fullest from start to finish with total ease, safety and speed, from anywhere and on any device.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Connect helped me with it's security, mobility, vision, hearing, speed, and simplicity. It is a software that offers great benefits and advantages. The new rotate button is excellent, I really like that it is a platform that is constantly improving and allows us to take full advantage of the full range it provides.

  ### 15. It`s a very useful tool for professional training, lots of options

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan T. | Certification Instructor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The share screen option is really practical. It allows me to share documents on my computer desktop. Also, the ability to create surveys to get participants involved in the discussion. There's also a lot of chat options to share opinions. The class admin interface gives you good control of the virtual classroom. I also appreciate the ability to seperate the group into workshops, a great tool to get people participating in a small group setting. The ability to build different classrooms and upload documents and presentations directly into the program make it very easy to use. It`s also very easy to adjust settings, such as webcam resolution, microphone and speaker volume.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

Connectivity becomes an issue for groups above 15. The program becomes unstable and frequently disconnects, especially since we all need to keep our webcams open. This limits the class sizes we can offer. We're there a solution to this problem, it would allow us a lot more flexibility in managing the size of our classes. Another problem we have encountered at times is the program does not alway recognize the webcam or microphone. In these cases, we had to reboot the program a few times for Adobe to find the webcam or speaker.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to train in person. When the government imposed health restrictions related to COVID-19, we needed an online solution. With Adobe Connect, I have a program that allows me to do so from a distance and even work from home! Any time I have material I wish to present, such as in PDF or PPT, Adobe Connect is the perfect platform. Since then, my employer has confirmed that we will continue to offer our services online instead of in person. Adobe Connect provides us with a platform that we can depend on for the long term.

  ### 16. Adobe Connect Webinar Platform

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff E. | Virtual Training Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The ability to create a custom layout/webinar room that fits the needs of my audience. Adding polls, Q&A, etc...allows for interaction and engagement.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

The email set-up is a bit clunky and takes some time to really fine-tune an email.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Adobe Connect is a solid system. We researched the competition, but in the end, we chose Adobe Connect due to all of the options available. It allows for smaller meetings and large seminars. It gives the audience a clean look with interactive opportunities to keep engagement.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since we went virtual in 2020, we have been able to leverage Adobe Connect for many more internal meetings and webinars. The system has helped us in many ways. The ease of use with many of the tools (breakout rooms, Q&A, etc...) has allowed us to connect with our team more easily. We did not leverage many of these tools previously, but after researching the tools, we were able to enhance our internal and external trainings.

  ### 17. Works for what it is, but could be much better.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cody O. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

I like the layout feature and how multiple users can have their own "profile" in a meeting, I like that I can review old meetings and download the materials from there. I like that you can manage breakout rooms with students and have private chats about sensitive materials outside the group chat. I like the ability to clear chat during parent-teacher conferences once a new parent enters my room. I like the ability to be able to drag my presentation materials over to the side in a "presenter area" and preview things before I send them.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

That you can't directly share audio from your computer, the glitchy nature of the program, the outdated GUI. I dislike the limited upload features with PowerPoint and how the formatting of the PowerPoint I upload end up changing all the time. I also dislike the video player and feel that it can be greatly improved. Most of my dislikes about the program come from its "minimalist" nature in the GUI and programming.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's just a meeting host for me, there's not much else I use it for. I use it to hold virtual office hours with students, present monthly webinars, and hold semi-annual parent-teacher conferences.

  ### 18. Adobe's best so far

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Varsha R. | Incident Response Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The entire suite of products are extremely user friendly with each room organized into pods for different groups/functionalities. There are a lot of features that help easier access to private meetings, breakout rooms, host privileges are too many and it is also easy to install and use with VPN and security.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

They could have expanded on other features like cloud data access via conferences and future access/denial.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

A mix of using Adobe with other video conferencing applications would be the perfect way to manage all communications and complement the disadvantages of Adobe

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the era of the pandemic, it has become crucial to have a strong virtual platform to continue crucial meetings and work assignments and Adobe Connect helps with just that

  ### 19. Customizable but can be much more stable

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ML K. | Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

Pods are customizable with lots of options. There are enough tools (audio, video, whiteboard, note pad, chat, etc.) that cater to communication needs with all of my students. The Team Chat option has also been a nice way to stay in the loop with my colleagues when teaching back-to-back sessions. Lastly, when functional, it has been great to have several options to share files in the app itself.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

Adobe Connect is very, very unstable. It crashes constantly despite timely updates. I and my colleagues have had frequent issues with log-in attempts. Share pod also often glitches (one example out of many: the pointer tool cannot be used by any of my students, defeating the premise of a collaborative problem-solving process).

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Teaching my students when I cannot see them in person;
- Mode of sharing files;
- Meeting setting with colleagues;

  ### 20. A secure and reliable platform for virtual classroom use.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lewisa J. | Assistant Headeacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The ability to preload resources on multiple layouts makes switching between activities seamless. The students are never kept waiting around for a resource to upload as it is all done before they arrive. The ability to load resources in the back end of Adobe means that everything is easily accessible. I also really like the pods that you use to build the layouts. The flexibility with sizing makes it simple to get the exact look you are after.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

I find the lack of ability to copy and paste pictures onto the screen very frustrating. I would also like for groups of students to be able to annotate different slides at the same time.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to load videos in the classroom without having to rely on students having access to you tube has been brilliant.

  ### 21. I like Adobe Connect as it keeps providing updates

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana S. | Instructor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

Lasted updates are user-friendly, easier for students to use their mic, turn on their videos and share their screens.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

I find that lately, there have been many updates, making it difficult to conduct an online class as the added features are not clear, and the interface changes. I want the updates to include very brief videos to illustrate how to incorporate the critical new features best.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Try it. Adobe Connet is a secure online teaching platform that students adapt to quickly.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have problems adapting to the new features as I am not clear on what is new. It has taken some trial and error in getting accustomed to the new interface. As well, I want to be able to download the results of adobe polling questions more easily.

  ### 22. Adobe Connect Woes

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wendy B. | Physics teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

I think the security for the classroom is excellent. I also like the whiteboard feature, although it causes such a lag when I use it. My students love it when I enable them to write on the board. The recording option works well for those students who are not able to attend class in person.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

My students always complain about the lag. My students and/or myself are randomly kicked out of class for no reason and then can't get back into the classroom.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I rely on my school principal to deal with Adobe Connect. His frustration level is high to the point that he is looking for other options. I used to teach using Google classroom, and I believe that Adobe Connect is better than Google.

  ### 23. Good for complex trainings, terrible for tech stability

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim C. | Delivery Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The ability to prepare breakout rooms in advance. The dense functionality for running a training class with lots of moving parts, making the experience seamless for the participants. The ability to have more than one host at a time. Ability to create layouts that make it easy to move between activities. The "presenters" only area. The variety of pods you can create on one screen.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

How often there are technical issues for participants with connecting, getting booted out of the system or their breakout rooms, connectivity issues for the host. This makes it almost impossible to use video which is a huge disadvantage. Hate how difficult it is to seamlessly use PowerPoint - Many PPT features don't translate through the conversion onto the platform: initial "with previous" builds don't work, embedded videos don't work. Some animations only work on the participant's end which causes problems with slides that are meant to have the host reveal answers. Sometimes I have to load a PPT deck over and over to get the bullets to translate correctly. To select a Pod I really don't like how the extended menus disappear if the mouse isn't in JUST the right position. I sometimes need these in a hurry and it's frustrating to have to open up the sections over and over again because of the sensitivity of dragging the mouse to the right in just the right spot or you lose the menu. It would be better to click on the menu and have it stay in place until you can click on the submenu item you're seeking. It would be helpful to have the ability to create breakout rooms in prepare mode or behind the scenes, so they can be created by the producer while class is going on. Make it easier and more intuitive to change colors and fonts in the draw tool.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to provide complex interactive training classes in a virtual environment.

  ### 24. Great for online teaching.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

Generating reports (questions, tests, participation etc.) is just perfect. Working together in group projects with other teachers and students is easy and quick. "Engagement Dashboard" is the best tool a teacher could've; from with it I can track class' engament easily.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

Some times video stream have same issues like stutter and mini-freezes. Resizing of a windows and working areas are sometimes bugged or stuck on click. In general they are not real problems but again some minor technical bugs and glitches occur.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

If you are a teacher, Adobe Connect has excellent tools for teaching and tracking students' engagement in the class.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe connect has really good tools that can be applied various scenarios in teaching: Video sharing, Q&A, Test, Screen sharing, participation tracking.

  ### 25. Best breakout room capabilities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

I like how much information is easily accessible - you can see all the people and which breakout rooms they are in, so if anyone ends up in the wrong room, it's easy to fix.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

I find the file uploading frustrating - it opens up and always takes a while to open "recently shared" or something, and I rarely use those files anyway, so I wish it wouldn't take that time and instead just let me pick which files to view. I also find it very frustrating that multiple people can't use the Notes section at the same time - if you do, the cursor goes all over the place and messes everything up.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

I think the chatbox works best for getting attention! Turn the sound on so you get a little ding when someone sends a message. That way, you don't miss a raised hand, and everyone else doesn't have to deal with the raised-hand popup.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The screen share feature is useful for helping students with their online assignments! They often can't copy/paste the text in, and getting them to upload screenshots can be time-consuming.

  ### 26. Excellent e-learning platform, but very complex and unpersonal UI

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stefan V. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

Adobe Connect is a great e-learning/webinar platform with all the tools you can dream of to interact with your clients, customers etc. and track the response

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

Adobe Connect is very complex to setup and run. You need to have extensive experience with software, e-learning and video conferincing to make it work - and the UI is unpersonal and some-what ugly...

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

You need to find a company that is second to none in support. If you do - and I did - it will be easier to use this service/program.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a great way to interact with more than one customer/client from a distance.

  ### 27. I love to use Adobe after around two years usage.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The connection from the user end to the server is working well, and it always tries to find the best connection for me.
The breakout room section gives space for our students a private room to discuss.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

I found a critical issue, and I hope the developer will get notice of this.
The recording will end automatically if the only user gets a glitch in the network connection (e.g a sudden loss of connection and reconnect by the problem itself).
Say there is a one-to-one meeting with recording, and somehow both users have a network glitch due to poor network connection. But the recording will end automatically without any notice, so if the host has no idea the recording has been ended by the system, then the whole recording thereafter will lose.

One more thing is can we share a word file for file sharing.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

It is a nice product with easy use and a nice connection, but still, it needs some improvement.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We may forget to record the meeting, but we can check the meeting status from the back end. And this is the only solution once the recording is lost.

  ### 28. Review after 4 months usage

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

Adobe login system is simple and easy to setup. I like the camera auto arrange of the screens of the participants and the templates that we can use to easy steup the room. The breakout system is great, we are able to have private meeting within the meeting - i would like to see just a way to "lock" those breakout to avoid accidental entering of other participants. A nice feature i would advise would be an option to "clear" the room after the meeting, deleting notes, chat,

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

I would like to see full control over the audio of the participants now allowing them to cancel sound completly. Also, there is some features like the idle time that is now easy to understand exactly what is appening. Pod management is also something i would like to see improved as we find ourselves with many unused pods opened for the simple reason the pods get hidden behind the active screens or pods.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Easy to use - simple implementation

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Major help to troubleshoot live the problems encoutered by the participants with optional screen control. The setup is easy and onboarding new users is quite straight forward. We get to ensure the security measures are followed by using the features like "only registered users can join" and also by controlling the acess to the room 1 by 1 - the administrator accepts or refuses the request to join the room. We can share documents or screen very easy.

  ### 29. My Go To for Video Meetings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

With years working in the IT industry, I have used and supported every meeting software on the market at one point or another. Adobe Connect is the one that I can honestly say that I have never had any issues using, supporting or deploying. Video and Audio quality is excellent, deployment is a snap, and support is a dream, because IT JUST WORKS!

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

I personally have never had any issues at all with the software so I have nothing bad to say about it.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Connect does not have the choppy audio issues the zoom has. It's not as feature rich, but it has more features than other software so do your research.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to take meetings on any device, and my end users are happy with it. Enough said.

  ### 30. Serviceable experience

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

Easy to use and learn basic functionality. General functionality- moving between breakout rooms, connecting video and voice, sharing files, writing notes, using chatboxes- is relatively simple and painless. Adobe connect room can be shared with a web URL. We use the breakout rooms to separate students into individual study sessions, and moving between each student and keeping their video/voice/text/files separate is easy and painless. Getting new users onto the Adobe Connect platform is also pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

Other users have had stability/connectivity issues when using the web browser version. When connectivity is poor, users may disconnect or audio quality may decrease to the point that they're unintelilgible. Occasionally files stored on server fail to upload when media sharing. Impossible for multiple users to write on the notes app at the same time. Some pods/modules lack some ease-of-use features, such as the ability to drag select/select multiple files and mass delete them from the history.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

It's a good way to get people connected relatively easily. Learning about and using different adobe modules can really improve the experience and can help you use the program to do more than just video/text chatting and basic presentations. Training others to use adobe connect is also relatively easy so one of the biggest benefits of the program is accessibility. If you do use Adobe Connect, however, installation of the program itself, rather than using the web browser version, is recommended for stability reasons.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easily connect to other users remotely. Ability to share files and mark them up with other users. Multiple ways to connect with other users, including video/voice/text chat.

  ### 31. The most sophisticated webinar solution I have used

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew G. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

Its flexibility, the ability to set up persistent rooms so events can be planned in advance and returned to, integration with other Adobe products, API, extensibility, support and cost effectiveness.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

It was originally Breeze, a Flash product. This means it has legacy issues and Adobe has been busy with porting to HTML. There have been some significant ones, but Adobe has been fixing them. I have had some hair-pulling moments in the last year, but things have improved and the senior support team listen and respond. The mobile apps are dated and do not fully support the desktop app's features, but these are are scheduled for an update this quarter I am assured, and much needed as more people use mobile devices.

The conversion of PowerPoint presentations is not always without incident, usually requiring some attention to the original files. You can always screen share as in other products, but there is no facility to share system audio when doing this. There are workarounds, but that is a nuisance.

It could do with better webcam quality in Grid mode, and I wish the feedback emoji options were more obvious. These are not big issues for our purposes.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for online training (CPD). It is a sophisticated product, but requires time and skill to make full use of it (as you would expect). We have integrated it with our LMS.

  ### 32. Adobe Connect Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

I like the versatility, the ability to do so many different things easily within one platform. Connect allows me to share links and important information with my students. I can design my classroom to meet the immediate needs of the students that are meeting with me at that very moment. Having a presenter area with pods ready to pull into the presentation area is extremely convenient for teachers with diverse learners.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

Some points of frustration I have found are that Powerpoints are not interactive, offline page set up isn't great. Whiteboard pod isn't as great as others. I'd love the ability to have interactive classes with my students, but I haven't been able to do that with powerpoint presentations. I also wish the chat sounds were automatic like in previous versions.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

The versatility is fantastic, and the convenience of having pods ready to use makes it very user friendly and efficient for busy teachers. I also recommend the doorbell add on so you're made aware when a student engages in your classroom.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate the ability to connect with students around the globe. I can chat with students to work through an issue, and if it gets too complex we can use microphones to talk through it, and if that still isn't solving the problem we are able to video and use whiteboards. I've also held parent conferences through the platform. I am able to travel and still remain connected to my students and families.

  ### 33. Adobe Connect Needs Work

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

Adobe Connect was a last minute solution to the covid-19 pandemic for my tutoring center. We'd been using Adobe Connect in a very small capacity as part of our training module, but adopted it as our sole teaching platform to accommodate our many students when covid hit. Frankly, the only good thing i have to say about Adobe Connect is that it kept us in business.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

Adobe Connect is not equipped to handle a fast paced teaching environment. It has serious bandwidth issues and bugs, constantly booting teachers and students, cutting out audio and video seemingly randomly, and rendering its own widgets (i.e. the whiteboard, file sharing, etc) useless.

Even the best ethernet/wifi connection does little to improve the user experience, and when many users are on at once, it is an impossible teaching/learning environment.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Again, the only benefit is that we're able to provide some semblance of instruction to our students. Zoom/Google were not viable alternatives because they lack the built in teaching tools that Adobe Connect has. It was Adobe or nothing.

  ### 34. Great for seminars w/ lots of flexibility. Plagued by frequent, pervasive bugs. Terrible recording

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorin K. | VIDEO PRODUCTION SPECIALIST, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

Pretty good teaching tool. I really like the Host/Presenter area. Couldn't live without that.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

I run frequent seminars with up to 1000 users. The amount of bitching I receive about Adobe Connect from average users (especially with comparisons to Zoom) is unreal. Adobe has many tools that Zoom doesn't have and in many ways, if it worked properly, would be a perfect teaching tool. However in the end, the user experience is all that really matters. Some users are just idiots. But often we hear things like, "I use Zoom every day and never have problems, but this platform is terrible!" Sometimes their audio doesn't work and we have to make them restart (if it's not a VPN issue). Sometimes they can't see all of the note boxes we put up. There are all kinds of different issues and I don't blame you for all of them. But given all of the issues I see on the host side (outlined below), I don't have much trouble believing that users are having legitimate, buggy experiences.

A lot of issues relate to playing inside a browser, which is always going to have the potential for instability depending on browser update status. There are bigger issues about the platform itself but before I move on to them, let me illustrate one frustrating experience I had with this. I noticed that when I started breakout rooms as a host, numerous members in the main room would see the webcam go offline. It happened frequently enough that I was eventually able to determine that it was users connecting via browser, and so we just had to yell in the chat PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE APP! DO NOT USE THE BROWSER VERSION. At some point during this process, I created a ticket with Adobe, who wanted me to use logs to recreate the issue on my end. I'm not your beta tester. When I'm seeing this on every livestream with about 10-12 people each time, are you really going to tell me that this isn't a known issue? And you want me to do all of your testing and capture all of this with logs? How am I supposed to use logs for customer machines? COVID has made me way too busy for this, not to mention I'm not going to reach out to my customers to get them to test with me. At the point this was proposed, I had already determined what the problem was, so we just kept warning users away from the browser version. But when so many of our customers have issues like this, it reflects badly on Adobe, and our organization. We were using Classic view when we had this problem. So hopefully it's been resolved with standard view

Some of my other complaints related to the platform:
 - recording. With all of our conferences and seminars moving online, I've had to make sure that each one is recorded. I then take these recordings, convert to MP4 and edit for our on-demand products. Whereas Zoom allows you to just download an MP4, Adobe requires you to render these files in real time. We do multi-day, 8 hour conferences, so this is a major pain in the ass. I could sort of understand back when this was all flash-based. But now that it's HTML5, I really don't see why you still put us through this aggravation. With the current setup, I DO like the ability to maximize a specific pod when recording, as I can put the webcam full screen and keep it from looking too small and shitty. But then I have to record again to get the screen share, which means an 8 hour course can take 16 hours to get all usable, editable video. In any case, if I could get high quality MP4s available for instant download, I could live with not having the webcam at full screen.

- The app, even running the latest "standard version" is incredibly buggy.
1. I recently had a ticket open because the app would never load on two different machines. I uninstalled and installed again and it still wouldn't work - it would just say "preparing the room" over and over again until it eventually errored out with the message" We are sorry but the app seems to be repeatedly crashing". I put a ticket in and a meeting with an Adobe Engineer was reschedule 2 times. When the meeting finally happened, the problem was documented and reported as a known bug. This was on 1/28. I have yet to have anyone reach out to me with a solution (SF - 33125057 )
2. Video and audio are often out of sync (running latest version of app). This was not a problem in Classic view. Seems to be a major issue in Standard view. Such an amateurish problem to have. Audio/video sync issues go back to the earliest days of digital video.
3. On the recordings, multiple speakers often layer over each other. In one instance, I listened to an entire livestream, so I was very familiar with the content. There were no problems with this. But in the recording, the speakers voices were layered over each other, especially with one particular presenter. His audio would start before the person before him finished talking, making him appear to be an over-eager asshole. There's no way to edit this audio. The recording was basically ruined if I didn't want the course to reflect badly on this presenter. I can provide examples of this if needed.

- Video + screenshare equals ridiculous cropping. Instructors hit the screenshare button and suddenly the camera is cropping the top of their head. They have to move back or try to adjust their laptop (which isn't always possible). Just really strange and frustrating. I do think this was an issue with "classic view" that has since been resolved in "Standard view". But in case not . . .

- Please allow breakout rooms for over 200 or an instructor "greenroom"! When I run conferences with multiple speakers, I like to be able to move instructors into breakout rooms prior to their start time so that I can test their audio/video/share without all the attendees seeing it. It just makes it smoother and more professional. But when our numbers get above 200, I have to do everything in the main room. Despite testing beforehand, sometimes speakers have major problems and then our customers are made to listen in to "can you hear me now" " webcam isn't working", etc. Even if it's not the breakout feature, some kind of greenroom with a similar functionality on a small scale would be nice.

- Please add the ability to elevate rights of particular users when in breakout room view. We had this ability in "classic view" It seems to have been removed in "standard view"

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We moved our entire educational program online in 2020. 2021 looks to be the same. Although we've seen an overall decline in revenue, we've been able to make up for it with significantly reduce costs (speaker travel, meeting space rental, etc)

  ### 35. Adobe Connect - My Virtual Classroom

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Narciso E. | IT Training Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The different virtual classroom elements that can easily be incorporated (easy to locate and intuitive menu tabs and dropdowns, drag and drop) in each session , i.e., pods, chat window, countdown timer, ability to share presentor's video, etc. Ability to record the sessions. It is also very easy to set up poll questions. I also like the feature where I can easily select what component to share, i.e. document, screen, etc. The recent list of the previously shared element also comes handy.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

Based on my personal experience, it froze on me while facilitating a virtual training session with about 150 attendees, although this can be a coincidence and maybe the phone line itself was a factor, or maybe the firm's subscription plan . I don't fully blame the occurrence of that incident to Adobe Connect per se.

Also I do not think that the search engine in the Adobe Connect dashboard is robust. I always had a link to the recordings of sessions but I always found it a challenge to locate them. Using the search field in the top right-hand corner using the link or even the last word in the link is not helping me locate the recordings.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Enjoy and take advantage of all the elements that you can add in your classroom, the pods, chat window, web cam, etc, hands up, etc.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teaching and training individuals from different parts of the world. Highly interactive.

  ### 36. The tool has helped my company to remain in the market with the current situation of covid 19.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel F. | Training, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

Customers have trusted the tool and it has helped us not to fall.
The connection is never lost, this helps clients trust and want to stay in contact with our training courses.
The tool has facilitated the way to deliver courses, now it is easier to carry out logistics with large groups
I like that the platform allows users to have different ways of interacting such as work groups and the whiteboard

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

I would like the controls to be more intuitive, this would help the instructors to have better control.
I would like there to be customization options for the central panel.
I would like the same tool to give recommendations for equipment for better use, speakers, microphone, etc.
Sometimes Adobe updates force the user to have to uninstall the program, this generates a problem in the moment in which the participants of a course are in the middle of it.

It would be very useful if the tool tells users what is the problem or error of its malfunction, for example, lack of microphone, lack of speaker or weak connection

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Adobe Connect is the platform of the future, having a platform of this style will guarantee quality virtual classes.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From the problems that came with the covid, our company had to change its way of delivering courses.
Adobe gave us a viable solution that our customers have accepted in almost 1 year now.
Now we have a greater number of courses that we deliver digitally, this has positively affected the income of the company and the logistics of the courses.

  ### 37. very usefull and very good at this time with corona virus we can work at home and use the program

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

can sustain alot of people in the same rooms, plus breakout rooms are alot usefull, all the pods available in the program are helpfull to motivate our sales teams like the door bell for exemple each time an operator sells he has the right to knock on the door bell so everyone can know he made a sale, sharing pod is also very usefull if we want to share a powerpoint with the team about a new product for exemple

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

sometimes the program lags and could have more add ons

Also, sometimes when we start breakout rooms we are able to hear whatever is happening on the breakout room and thats not good, we create a breakout room for a reason and with this BUG we aren't able to do it the way we wanted to

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

I recommend using adobe connect to everyone because it is a simple and at the same time powerfull tool to use if you have learge teams or meeting to do, see it for yourselfs you wont regret it if you use it the right way

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can get track on my team, control the sales, help out team members have meeting in adobe doing, its also usefull to do dynamics in adobe with the share pod for exemple, we are having a dynaimic right now with a train and numbers each time an operator does a sale he gets the right to pick the number and the number may have a prize or not

  ### 38. Good Tool for home school/ Online School.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan K. | Mathematics Lead Teacher - Secondary Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

I love that I can take students into different breakout rooms and work with them one on one while my other students can also be in a room working but not be bothered by what I hear / work on with a different student. The whiteboard feature is absolutely wonderful as is the share screen feature so I can see what my students are doing exactly.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

I really wish there was a way to type in math script like in Microsoft word. Right on the whiteboard. Or I wish there was a way to bring math symbols onto the board.

The biggest thing I wish we could do would be rearrange files that are uploaded into a box. If I want my files uploaded in alphabetical order I have to delete them and re upload them every time we realize we missed one. Or specifically we have a pod for students with older videos and if a teacher forgets to upload their video right after the dates are out of order and I have to spend time uploading them again. It would be so very nice to be able to drag and drop them in any order I wish. Or there was an alphabetical button that would do it for me, I am not picky. It would also be really nice to be able to add a banner on our front math department screen that had characters or pictures of all the teachers. Right now we can only upload a power point and it is difficult to read.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

If using for education purposes or tutoring I highly recommend solely on the whiteboard feature. I also love that the videos are really easy to be made so you can record solving problems and the student can easily re watch them later.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We solve all kind of math problems with Adobe connect, as I am a math teacher!

The best benefits I have found is students who are having a hard time prioritizing work while at home if they pop into my adobe room during my office hours they are more likely to stay on track and get their work done. I feel it is helping keep the kids focused.

  ### 39. Adobe Connect

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David H. | Instructional Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

Adobe Connect provides a great platform for live or recorded classes and trainings. It has many features that other platforms can't do. The app is straightforward and easy to use.

Connect also interfaces with our learning management system which makes it easy for students to go to live class or watch recordings.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

We are trying to find alternatives to some of the Flash-based pods that we use. Also, the experience between the web version and the app version isn't 100% identical. This can cause an issue when trying to troubleshoot problems.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Connect for all of our live classes. Since students also have the option of watching recordings, it works perfectly for eceryone.

  ### 40. Adobe Connect admin and user for over three years.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josue C. | Manager of Learning systems, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

All of the pods that can be used, and the fact that back in 2018/2019 it was ahead of its time when talking about Web conferencing tools.
The engagement pod is very useful, so we could check who was multi-tasking.
Adobe does provide an option to include other audio conference information with the meeting invite.
I can control the layout of the screen for viewers.
Attendees can control the slide deck on their end.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

The interface always looked a bit outdated, and the feature to download recordings was very outdated as well, as we need to stream back the whole session to obtain the recording, and most of the time the recording is corrupted and we'll have to try it all over again.
Sometimes is difficult to set up the audio with the conferencing service, and it could be easier to troubleshoot.
There is no option to call attendees.
There is no option to have a virtual background.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Nowadays, there are plenty of other web conferencing tools out there, so my recommendation is to have a proof of concept or pilot first, so we can check other platforms in the market.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We could fit a lot of team members and split them into breakout rooms, those breakout rooms gave us the capability to have different cohorts for the sessions, and attendees were more comfortable sharing ideas in smaller groups.
Also, we could have different types of ice breakers implemented due to the breakout rooms.
With the pandemic, we use it to deliver virtual training classes, from new hires to refreshes, to leadership curricula.

  ### 41. Excellent Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Surjeet S. | Professor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The functionality, customize layout, in one meeting I can log in multiple times, chatbox, document sharing. keep my content separate on Adobe cloud.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

The Blackboard is not working with my writing pad. In the chatbox, sometimes messages appear as from the Host instead attendee's name.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

It is a good software to take virtual classes and creating webinars.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blackboard issues using the writing pad for the excellent learning experience for the students. Right now, I am sharing my desktop to use external blackboard options. Benefits are: students' logs can be downloaded and poll results as well (if it opens).
Another benefit is to create webinars and share the link with the students to view them.

  ### 42. Very good tool. Some issues regarding legacy on breakout, with more than 6-7 peoples.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabio C. | Team Leader, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The layout, with several features like the notes, chat, weblinks, and pods.
Simplify a lot our job when we try to get quick and precise information
Supporting the teams is very easily done.
Even the participation from the team is better like this they can share their knowledge with the others.
Sharing documents are very simple
The security behind the access of the rooms is very easily handled.
Clear sound on meetings, even with some delays.
The sharing screen made my life easier since we work at home, I can share something or do proper coaching easily, with this to give examples in life.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

Legacy on the breakouts rooms, when we are more than 6-7 people with the cameras on and sound.
The pop-up when someone is trying to enter In adobe room could be longer.
We could have a feature to have some games to ensure the good team spirit.
The recorded meetings, at least for me take a long time to do the updates of it, but it can be my internet that is too slow.
Another thing that could be implemented, on meetings with the webcams on, who Is speaking should appear in bigger than the others. Like this, we could have a better understanding of who is speaking.
When we are sharing our screen, the sound should be share too. More specifically, when I am sharing my screen of a call that has been recorded, it should share, the sound too and not just the screen. For the agents are able to listen to the call, I must give control of my screen to them, and, because of my position, this is too risky.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick transmission of the information.
Quick getting information in a short period of time with the pods.
Support for the teams with the chats and private chats.
Quick meetings are done, due to the breakouts rooms.
Sharing documents with some concerned people is very quick.

  ### 43. Our best tool for virtual classrooms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Machinery | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The persistent layout system. We can set up any virtual workshop structure in advance and modify it over time.
The flexibility it offers for instructional designers is way above any other solution I know.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

The connectivity instability. We often have users kicked out of the system or not hearing audio and having to try the other options (web client, different browsers, some even end up joining with the app because they can't make it work on their computer). Some of our trainers have decided not to use Adobe Connect anymore because of these.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Comparing Adobe Connect to Teams or WebEx is like comparing an oven to a toaster. They can both toast bread, but try roasting chicken in a toaster... Adobe Connect can do so much more than web conferencing. It's a key to build and deliver some really interactive virtual workshops.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are virtualizing our classrooms. It was already the case before, but the covid situation has accelerated the process. Most of our synchronous training goes through Adobe Connect these days.

  ### 44. Teacher experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** PRIYANKA N. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

Like the tools available, group chat, whiteboard *especially etc.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

The disconnects that sometimes happen randomly, the extra time it takes to get back online are all part of the Adobe Connect frustrations. The error msgs that display when you try to open both browser and app is also time-consuming, which takes more time as you try to get back to your students.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Virtual learning is an incredible experience that we managed to learn and master within weeks in a new world that necessitated it. It's kind of remarkable that we could continue teaching even amidst the pandemic when everything from schools to learning centers and libraries all were closed.

  ### 45. Has it's flaws but is a great L&D tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

I love that I can create layouts for myself and other facilitators to use. It creates a consistent platform for multiple facilitators to facilitate the same training and keep it consistent. I also love the numerous polls/chats/ media that can be used at the same time. Lastly, the ability to load the PPT beforehand is fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

We have had a lot of trouble with Adobe Connect lately. It seems that they are constantly pushing updates. Many of our employees have experienced issues with logging into a training because the APP isn't working or they need to update their app. We also have problems when people are trying to use the web version - they have trouble with the sound quality and multiple times are kicked out of the Adobe room and need to log back into the session

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have always had the need for training virtually; however, this year has taught us that we need to do it even more. We are working on creating more trainings virtually that help connect people through breakout rooms and encouraging people to come off mute

  ### 46. Great features make for amazing meetings and class sessions!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

I love the breakout session features that allow students to work in groups. The use of the poll pods are helpful too. As an instructor, having the capability to do screen share and even request control over a student's computer to help troubleshoot has been super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

It would be great if you could duplicate/copy pods or import them from one meeting to another. As a front-end user (instructor) I don't have all of the privileges as our administrators. It would be helpful if we could replicate/copy meeting layouts. We frequently teach the same courses over and over. Each term we have to completely recreate the meeting room. It would save so much time if we had a way to import from another meeting instead.

I also want to add that the recent updates don't allow the copying of font formats when copying and pasting text from one notes pod to another. Takes a lot of time to go back and re-format everything. The Chat sounds turn off every time you log out and log back in. It didn't do this on the old version.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Adobe Connect has so much to offer. The new version has its quirks, but I hope Adobe gets all of the bugs worked out soon!

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are an online institution. Without Adobe Connect, we wouldn't be able to hold class.

  ### 47. Has Typical Problems, Not Many Much Better

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

Adobe is simple to use and is easy to pick up on, even without a tutorial. It is also cross-platform, which expands on its utility. Tools like the drawing/editing one are super useful in teaching.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

It has a lot of bugs. Things like file sharing take a while to load. Mics don't often work during cross-platforming. The drawing isn't very smooth. Although far better than the first rendition if Adobe 11, it needs to become smoother to appeal to students and educators.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Make sure you have a back-up plan if the program fails. And run the team through some problematic scenarios and how to mitigate issues.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've had problems with mics not working when cross-platforming (app to webbrowser, or app to ipad) where it either won't work or it'll blast static noise. The greatest benefit for a host on Adobe is the layout; the pods are laid out in a way that I can know what's going on in the entire meeting at once, which helps me think on the spot and also brings me comfort.

  ### 48. My Connect

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The Functionality and ability to use room setup

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

Poor adobe customer support. Never easy to find contact numbers for customer support. LOTS of issues, recently, getting participants microphones and webcams to work; I have to talk participants through allowing adobe site permissions. In short the concept is fantastic, but the ease of use/ability to just click the microphone button once to get it to work whilst on the web app is appauling!! Please bear in mind that many organisations do not allow staff to download the app due to security restrictions, so PLEASE make the web app joining/ ability more user freindly/functional.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Great platform, but let down by web app functionality - participants have problems in microphone/webcam functionality..... Lord help you if you are not computer literate and cannot talk people through site permissions!

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to have many participants from many global locations on at the same time

  ### 49. Great product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

We like the environment, presenter's view, Q&A, Poll, different layouts, whiteboard and drawing tools, controcl of presentation inside the application, ability to get help from the technical support team.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

Not able to remove participants who misbehave. We need to do this on some occasions.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

Great product for web-conferencing

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online classes for students we cannot run face to face

  ### 50. Mixed review for Adobe Connect

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly O. | LMS Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Connect?**

The ability to stage each layout the way I want, and the "building block" style of pods that you can add or remove to each layout.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?**

Audio, all things about it, are not intuitive enough for most people to be able to-without help-set up their mic, or connect via phone. The icons, the actual control of pc audio vs phone audio, the reliability/quality of audio-all of it-needs improvement.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Connect:**

We use our dedicated toll free phone, and though I haven't explored it, I think that if we used audio provided by Adobe Connect, our experience might improve. Overall, version 11 (the latest) has been a potentially better version than past versions. It's just had too many teething issues, and for too long since its implementation, and without Adobe Support taking the issues reported to them seriously enough.

**What problems is Adobe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting with stakeholders remotely; training
