Adobe Animate Pros and Cons

I like how Flash has stayed relevant where it has become Adobe Animate. It's still great for 2D animation, storyboard animatics, and web animation that export to HTML5 files since browsers don't run SWFs much anymore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I remember having issues with exporting animated SVG files a while back where I need to rely on third party plugins to achieve this. If there are improvements to exporting this natively, that would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I started working with flash from the mx version and have been learning and working with each of the versions that have come out, so I find it easy to use to create animations 2d, working with the timeline and the possibility of creating different scenes is awesome to make animated clips, vector drawing tools and the ability to import objects from illustrator and photoshop is very good for collaborative work. one of the things a little complicated to handle in flash is writing code action script because has changed version at different times and still not standardized this language also it lacks some tools for handling sound and video as it is limited in this aspect. I use Adobe Animate to create 2d animations for my Youtube channel and I'll have to admit, it is a software for pros. The UI is still user-friendly. If you are old-school Flash animator/dev, returning to motion graphics with Adobe Animate is mostly seamless. If you are new to Animate, there may be some learning curves - but quick searches will bring easy to follow tutorials and direct info. When Flash became Animate, I didn't get the memo at first, then a few years went by, and I saw it in my Creative Cloud. I installed it thinking it was some animation program, and boy, I was wrong. I really like this software however I prefer aftereffects too but if im talking about proper 2d animations like vector animations, Chracter Animations , 3d stuff and gaming then yes what i love most is bone tool or a script writing and yes UI feels very intuitive and so on.
