Enables the user to develop interactive animations and simulation with a minimum graphical design skill. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The newly adopted underlying development script language (javascript) is not powerfull enough for simulation. Moreover, the documentations and tutorials about coding in Adobe Animate are extremely poor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy shortcut for onion skinning makes workflow better, Fantastic timeline, Character rigging option and auto animate option. lot's of things there to share. Best camera tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lost support to Flashplayer best thing in this before the rebranding. Redesigned Ui not good as older versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like How fun it is to work in. Animate is an easy to use tool that allows our creative team to bring life and fluidity to our storyboarding process. Adding in motion allows us to better communicate timing and intent in our work which can greatly speed up the decision process as well as further enhance our creativity. I dislike how much I had to re-think some of my artwork in the beginning. It took some effort to think through the assets and learn how to create and reassemble them in order to better rig and animate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how user-friendly the interface is right from the start of opening the program. There isn't a huge learning curve to it and you can pick up on things really easily. I like that you can create movie animations, kinetic typography, cartoons, animated GIFs and much more. I like that the files are very small, and the compression is very smooth which helps if you are trying to send content to mobile devices or to ensure fast loading time on your websites. There are way too many updates which sometimes happen during the middle of a project, which requires me to shut down the application and restart the program. It's very time consuming and wastes a lot of time. A lot of devices do not support flash. Sometimes websites run too slow and Flash would crash while loading certain graphics and animations on websites. Program can be a bit unstable and can slow down if you aren't being careful on how you are using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a very good software for creating key-framed graphics/animations - it's fairly simple to use with basic training (I am not an expert by any means)... The frame by frame control is great and again simple to understand if you've used other Adobe products. It's "great in a pinch", but there are better animation apps that exist today, that I should also mention are easier to use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is limited and not necessary all the time... For example, I am able to solve a lot of the same animation tasks in Photoshop or AE or similar softwares and don't need Animation. It is not great at integrating with Apple and I use my MacBook/iPhone for all of my animation design work. A lot of platforms aren't accepting Flash (aka Animation) these days so it really isn't great for the future. I am considering dropping it completely for this reason. Also I work from a MacBook Pro and this program eats RAM and has crashed on me several times in the middle of a project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Adobe Animate is a one-stop solution for doing all work related to animation.
2. Adobe Animate is a mixture of other products of Adobe Cloud Collection, which makes Adobe Animate an easy to use software especially for those who have already used products like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe XD, etc.
3. Adobe Animate includes a basic level of tutorial included in the software which gives a beginner level of intro about software, which is helpful because that kind of basic tutorial isn't available on youtube as far as I know.
4. Adobe Animate has so many customization tools to customize your animation and software also gives an option to arrange customization toolbar according to your work. This is helpful because every Designer/Animator has their way of working so they can customize toolbar as their need.
5. Adobe Animate has one feature of Onion Skinning that can make you realize that how much you have done till now in your animation and how much you have left to do, which is helpful because switching between frames, again and again, to see your work is not that much compatible. 1. The only thing that I dislike about Adobe Animate is that Adobe Animate requires more than a normal configuration system to run this software smoothly.
2. This software should also available on other platforms like Android or iOS, which can be very handy.
3. Adobe Animate has so many important toolbars that you need on screen but when you arrange them all on your computer screen, it left with very few spaces for the actual workplace on which you will do animation. So a monitor with big screen is needy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Adobe Animate has many potentials. The interface is smooth and works well like other software’s. Animations can be created with little to no effort. It is more intuitive and creative. For artists there's a tool available where you can draw freehand. By using it user can create a real animate and it also allows to create animations at next level and that are complex. The properties panel is quick and smooth. It allows user to create animations with little effort. There are multiple useful features that are available at one platform. It is also user friendly and tools are excellent which work well on Wacom tablets. It can convert video to html. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main problem with Adobe Animate is that it can be hard to use at first but however all software’s are like that to some extent. ActionScript is unexplained and problems occur while transporting gifs. It does not work well for web browsers. To learn it to full extent you need to be patient and take some time for it. The system sometimes freezes. It can be very pricey at first but there are student packages available which can be availed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its really useful, they have a lot of tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that it should have more tutorial videos, easier to learn for beginners in the creative space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Good for the professional business and class like design of the century. Will give the refined look to all productions. I like how the ease of use of the software is and is easily trainable just like all Adobe products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
May not accommodate to a wide variety of features needed for designing and web creations. Adobe also has strict plans and memberships. I think the software could use different branches as well to serve the field expertise of design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love to animate projects, i use this for animation for a 3d building movie Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
