The pre-rendering phase is slow, also the final rendering is, but the rendering speed depends by the processor and the graphic card of the pc. **Recommendations to others considering Adobe After Effects:** Using Adobe After Effects is really profitable and creatively stimulating. The fact that I have eased into learning some amazing animation effects without any prior education speaks a lot for the user friendliness of this program. It may be tricky for a beginner but every tool, effect, preset, plugin, and part of the workspace are all very thoughtfully designed. My colleagues and I have created some incredibly realistic animations for our clients with this software. **What do you dislike about Adobe After Effects?** One thing I dislike about Adobe After Effects is that sometimes when I have two keyframes on, lets say the scale of an object, if I use ease and wiz, and remove it, sometimes the path between the two keyframes gets wonky on one end and I have to recreate the two keyframes in order for them to function properly. Otherwise the movement is not right. **Recommendations to others considering Adobe After Effects:** Absolutely don't hesitate to license Adobe After Effects for your video animation needs. The incorporation of sound, and anything time-oriented could be a lot better. If it had a more "Premiere-like" setting option, it would be much appreciated. One of my favorite videos I created in college utilized this and it was cool to make a space filled with PNG images that had transparent backgrounds to "zoom" through. As with Adobe's other software, the tools and commands translate nicely between the other Creative Suite programs. **What do you dislike about Adobe After Effects?** Only thing I dislike is something solved easily by Adobe Premiere, which is not having the best audio controls and integration... I haven't used the Creative Suite in its most updated form, so this may have changed. I create infographics, and character animations to tell stories. It is a very complicated software and difficult to learn, but once you have some momentum you can make some of the best motion graphics, and no other package comes close to Adobe After Effects for motion graphics creation. ### 47. In my opinion, After Effects is the best editing suite; it is very complete and versatile, all its tools are well organized, and it is easy to find what you need and use it. This software provides effects and results with a high level of quality, so it uses its tools in an appropriate way that allows the user to obtain the best results. The user interface was a bit complicated at first, but later updates greatly simplified the user interface. I really like that it has a live preview of my ongoing work and that it has a very intuitive interface. This is the quintessential software for video editing; we can apply all kinds of effects, and when it comes to video editing, the possibilities are almost endless. **What do you dislike about Adobe After Effects?** An expensive software if you only want to learn video editing and want to be a video editor. Complex features that are everywhere and not easy for new users. Steep learning curve. No simple controls to facilitate use and understanding. **Recommendations to others considering Adobe After Effects:** Adobe After Effects will continue to be the industry standard for creating cinematic movie titles, intros, and transitions, despite the price, knowing that it is essential for any animator, designer, and compositor. If you want to create motion graphics and visual effects for film, television, video, and the web, use Adobe After Effects, as it is widely used, tutorials are readily available, so you can create anything you need. Troubleshooting is also easy thanks to Adobe's large After Effects community. **What problems is Adobe After Effects solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have used After Effects for a wide variety of digital works. I have used it to create video mockups for social media, companies, or other digital advertisements. I have used it to create cinematic movie titles, intros, and transitions.
