STREAM helps us to check our Organization compliance with the ISO 27001, conducting the risk assessment of our assets in a straightforward way, avoiding to do calculations and presenting results and a clear and understandeble for everyone way.

The aspect that should be improve is to have the Utlity module as a separeted feature, which is an Excel file, that is difficult to undestand for the user. I suggest to integrate this module in STREAM as part of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Stream is a platform for managing compliance requirements. It lends itself to storage of customer requirements, security frameworks etc. Its strength lies in its ability to link these requirements with identified risks and controls together plus maintain any documentary evidence to demonstrate compliance.

Acuity provide many templates for international security frameworks including those from NIST, ISO and IASME.

One of the best aspects of working with Acuity is that they listen carefully to their users eg feature requests. Acuity Discovery Club provides the opportunity for Stream users to share knowlege and experience with other organisations using Stream e.g. how they exploit the software within their own organisations. The most recent event covered changes to ISO standard 27001 and provided a masterclass demonstration of how Acuity use Stream within their own organisation to manage and maintain compliance with 27001. There was also time within the agenda for attendees to swap experiences of how they have implemented the standard, especally powerful for those setting out on the route to certification. In the beginning, it's hard to see the forest for the trees. The multitude of possibilities can be overwhelming. It would be very helpful not only to have technical documentation on how to use which function but also to have a method manual available to help guide you through the jungle. The biggest advantage of Acuity risk management is that it is highly configurable which has allowed us to meet requirments from a number of stakeholders across our group setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With the limited use we have had out of the tool to date the only dislike is with the reporting functionality, we will at some point create dashbaords with PowerBI as although Acuity holds the data, getting the reports and charts cannot be done from within the tool. Acuity never take their eye off the ball with the featureset of their GRC solution "STREAM". Both STREAM and Acuity company continue to grow from strength to strength through their open lines of communication, frequent and informative webinars and demonstrations, and willingness to take on board feedback from their customers through the development processes. Although information security management can be a very extensive and complex task, STREAM enables us to make our ISMS as efficient as possible, increase transparency and be maximally flexible.

With STREAM, interrelationships within the ISMS can be presented in a structured and simple way. The operation of the ISMS can be guaranteed efficiently even when taking countless international standards into account.

The initial implementation is a very complex task that requires very good knowledge of the subject matter and the tool.

However, this has nothing directly to do with Acuity Risk Management or the STREAM tool.
