With the advent of remote work, it's difficult to get a 360 degree view of how each of our team members spend their days. With ActivTrak - it completes the picture by providing overall summaries as well as fine details for each member. This greatly assists in recognizing our most diligent workers, highlights possible inefficient processes, and also helps with coaching if/as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ActivTrak by itself is great - but we all have to be careful of telling "my stories" of what we assume the data is trying to tell us. I myself always try to give the end user the benefit of the doubt when the data may not show a favorable result. Sometimes our tools aren't calibrated properly and tag content or activities "non productive" when they really are. Other times, there may be a process or other component that results in the team member showing lower scores, to no fault of their own. In summary, ActivTrak is a wonderful tool and quite useful - but just like every system, be careful to not "manage by numbers" and instead use the data to ask questions and help further understanding. Hi Shane!
Thanks for the detailed review and sharing your perspective. The data is truly there to help you ask questions to get to the full picture (and to help establish better and more open lines of communication with your team), so I'm happy to see you using it this way and sharing it for others to see.
Thanks again!
