Active Batch was suggested for our project since it included managing 1400+ servers across many time zones, regions, and customers.
Workflow automation: The drag-and-drop workflow was straightforward for any team member to use to produce the ideal workflow. The tool's drag-and-drop option worked wonderfully in designing, testing, and deploying complicated workflows while saving time and effort.
Monitoring and alerts: As the engineers had limited resources, it was challenging to allocate the work, but after the active batch rollout was deployed, each shift's productivity grew consistently. Monitoring and alarms were on the money as they missed out on SLA breaches throughout all the shifts.
Flexible scheduling allowed us to communicate easily with customers, vendors, and consumers in their respective time zones.
Working with a large team and a diverse user base was challenging before the active batch was implemented. Still, once that was done, it became simple to manage the amount of access with each individual and batch-wise access provisioning cut down on time consumption. There's nothing I dislike about this product, but some feature could be improved such as default reports, automatic creation of incidents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Though user manuals are available, they can give detailed documentation in order to get the exact idea for non technical folks and to make it easier for them to understand quickly and to handle without any issue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reuse of same job template.

ActiveBatch user interface is a bit complicated for anyone trying to use it for the first time. Would be better if there is any guide or reference for any new function or features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our organization has used Activebatch for several years now for workload automation and I can say it is the best orchestration tool I have ever used. Once you understand some of the quirks and nuances, it is an excellent tool. What I enjoy most is it is a modular tool that supports many programming languages and cloud platforms. Having ActiveBatch has allowed us to create automation that would have otherwise been more cumbersome with another tool. Also, I love that you can easily create API endpoints to call your workloads. I think the permissions model for Activebatch could be improved. Maybe because I am not the admin of the server, but I have found the permissions model to be cumbersome. But that should not be a dealbreaker as it is a great tool! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It wasn't easy to Schedule the jobs Earlier as we required a resource to run and monitor them. With ActiveBatch, We can schedule our Job at a particular time, and also it gives us alerts and we can also monitor them. The cause Failure can also be easily identified and entire workflow is mad simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When we are working with triggers it is not working as expected the main use of triggers is to eliminate boiler plate code and it is not functioning properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an enterprise-wide tool, ActiveBatch (AB) is difficult to beat. It allows for coordinated automations across multiple systems that are easy to configure, monitor, and follow. It provides many built-in functions and allows for both internal and external scripts (eg. VBS, PS1, BAT, CMD, etc.). Vendor support is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SFTP is a tough area. AB doesn't play well with AWS hosted FTP sites. Some of the extensions (API) are not fully implemented, they have the basic features, but some bells and whistles might be missing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
