**What do you like best about Act-On?**

When comparing Act-On to other products, there are obvious similarities, such as the drag & drop email composer, but what stands out is how you can personalize your content and audience. Not only can you personalize the email templates using dynamic content, but you can also personalize the cadence in which you communicate based on user activity. 

Additionally, the Act-On platform allows you to review email recipients activity easily, which then allows you to adjust the communication and also gives our team a sense of who is engaging, which in turn creates a list for them to make calls. Instead of these being cold calls, they are targeted, and the end result is a lead who is engaged on a call and moves to next steps quicker.

**What do you dislike about Act-On?**

It would be ideal if there were more native integrations. For example, with Zoho CRM, which is the primary CRM we resell. There is a tool that allows us to do this; therefore not a deal breaker by any means, but something that would streamline our process a little more.

**What problems is Act-On solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using the tool, we are able to set up sophisticated automated email campaigns that communicate to leads based on their engagement, the location they are interested in purchasing from, and other characteristics we have gathered on them.

**What do you like best about Act-On?**

The platform offers many robust solutions to manage inbound customer contact. Using the email Dynamic Content hand in hand with form conditions is perfect for us

**What do you dislike about Act-On?**

Nothing. At first, it all appears a little daunting for someone who might not have had experience with the platform. But you soon learn your way around, especially with customer support.

**What problems is Act-On solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our contact form on our website was not the most user-friendly. I used the form conditions feature to simplify the customer journey. This also makes it easier for me to distribute the responses to the appropriate department. The dynamic content email feature also helped me to customise the response email according to the selection made by the user. 
I had difficulty understanding the full relationship between the various elements - however, Daniel was ready to assist me all the way. He even arranged a Teams call to talk me through some of the tricky bits. Brilliant service.
I'm now on a mission to see how Act-on can help improve our customer experience.

**What do you like best about Act-On?**

I like the ease of use. I'm only at the intermediate level in training, but learning the ARP's is so cool. Overall the ease of designing and sending email options is really great!

**What do you dislike about Act-On?**

Sometimes we will get logged off if we step away from our computer and leave the program idle for too long. We've lost unsaved work. Sometimes it does happen rather quickly. Maybe extend the login timeout?

**What problems is Act-On solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a unique situation. We are an office supply distributor, focused mainly on b2b. Act-on has gone above and beyond to help us. We use the program as an email marketing service for our dealers. The dealers then are able to send marketing emails to sell products to their customers b2c.

I like how ACT On continually gives updates on their platform and reaches out if there are any questions you might have.

I don't like how complicated everything is made to be. Especially when it comes to email creation. What you see is almost never what you get.

Automation and email creation. Their automation makes creating programs and lists super easy.

**What do you like best about Act-On?**

Act-On integrates easily with CRM processes, which is a big deal to us. Makes it easy to segment customers and distribute content. It is a strong platform we have leveraged for many profitable and useful automated programs.

**What do you dislike about Act-On?**

Act-On's best reporting is for its manually triggered emails, and little focus is given on rolling up automated programs. This reporting can and should improve. So should reporting that breaks down for B2B companies (things like by segment, by contact owner, etc).

**What problems is Act-On solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Distributing content to targeted audiences is very easy and fast with good integration to CRM sources. This is particularly meaningful for B2B specialized companies like us.

**What do you like best about Act-On?**

Visual automated email programs editor is very intuitive to use. There are plenty of options that are useful for marketing automation, lists segmentations, and reporting. It's suited for marketing agencies that have dozens of customers, and each account can be set for different needs. Their support is responsive and actually helpful.

**What do you dislike about Act-On?**

The user interface at the beginning can feel a bit counterintuitive. The look of it feels a bit dated, but it's just cosmetics.

**What problems is Act-On solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The marketing agency I work with serves 50+ medium-size clients, and we use it for content and email marketing, lead scoring, list segmentations, and more. Some customers connect Act-on to their CRM, which further helps their digital marketing efforts.

Act-On has a cornucopia of features and customisations. Almost every requirement of a client can be meet after some work.

Looking forward to a native or integrated image editor. Some tasks like saving and previewing your do not work properly sometimes.

Hire a competent local partner and you'll be set.

Act-On has opened a lot of opportunities with Marketing Automation. It takes time to develop but will be far more practical in the long run.

I like the many tools that ActOn packs in their software. I can create and send an email in minutes, create landing pages, create surveys, link to PDFs and get results fast.  Send one email, send 1 million emails - ActOn offers all of these features in an easy- to-use platform.

**What do you dislike about Act-On?**

I would like to see ActOn bring back the ability to edit bad email addresses that have wrong the syntax before actually sending the emails as this would improve deliverability.

**Recommendations to others considering Act-On:**

If you like great software and great customer service - ActOn will not disappoint.

**What problems is Act-On solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are all about agent engagement -- getting our agent customers to engage and interact with us. ActOn has given us the power through its software to increase engagement each time we send an email. The tracking and metrics are very helpful so we can identify engaged agents and target different messages to them versus agents not engaged or opening our emails. In addition, ActOn helps us send important alerts quickly to respond to our immediate business needs.

I like the customization ability plugging into our salesforce system. There is great opportunity to make it your own, you just need to know how to organize going into it.

**What do you dislike about Act-On?**

Organization is difficult, and in certain areas it is pretty old looking and needs updates. There are so many tiny things that can go wrong and you have to dig in deep to find what's going on, and it is not the simplest system to use.

They are allowing us to mass email regularly, create our own lists including behavioral lists. They provide in depth reporting which  has great  data.

Acton on provides detailed reports and connects well with websites. Unlike other CRMs, Acton also provides details of leads rather than the touchpoint details alone.

**What do you dislike about Act-On?**

Although Acton is pretty good compared to its competitors, one of the features that it could act is the messenging feature. Besides that, we have had a great experience with the tool.

Acton is a one-stop-shop for the CRM tools one cloud ask for. It allows for 3rd party integrations, content distribution to target audience, etc. These features are especially useful for B2B marketing, like we do.

**What do you like best about Act-On?**

Act-On is very good, I like it because I can track my clients and their specific behavior on social networks. I have been able to train my colleagues to use it very easily, the software itself is intuitive and spectacularly fluid. Act-On contains multiple tools of integral operation specialized in communication platforms and content.

**What do you dislike about Act-On?**

Act-On is extremely simple to use, they should continue with this method of systematizing the software, I feel it is the most convenient. No negative comments apply.

**What problems is Act-On solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are happy to have Act-On, it is a great program that allows us to find a better solution to the management of social networks, we can make very convenient follow-ups that trigger multiple achievements, either investment, profits or potential business. Thanks to Act-On we can make excellent marketing strategies in social networks successfully obtain potential customers. It is very good and helps to understand the idea of simple synthesis and extensive customization of social media communication mechanisms.

**What do you like best about Act-On?**

The email builder is very intuitive and easy to use. Customer service is great and our account managers have been lovely. The account insights feature for the website is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Act-On?**

The UI isn't the best. There are some missing integrations. The Data Studio is hard to use. I wish the media library could hold videos. Something that bothers me is in the automated programs you can't visualize the steps in the flow builder and have to click in to each to see what "Email Message #3" is.

**What problems is Act-On solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Act On helps us reach our MQLs and segment our audience to build out more specific marketing. It is a very central platform for us and can benefit us from all the insights it provides.

With Act-On, creating landing pages, emails, forms, etc., is made easy due to its easy UI/UX. It is easy to customize and automate marketing processes using the drag and drop feature and custom scripts.

**What do you dislike about Act-On?**

There isn't much to dislike about Act-On. The platform is extremely user-friendly, and they provide excellent support and training. However, It would be great if multiple users could be added to one account!

We are collaborating with Act-On on multiple marketing assets with integrations from various platforms, including SFDC. All assets are located in one place as a central repository and can be accessed by anyone at any time.

I like the support we receive from Act-on. They are always available whenever I have any questions and are also proactive in completing regular customer reviews.

There are certain features within the program builder which could be improved, enabling us to test the programs before setting them live could be done much better.

It helps us communicate with our prospects and customers very effectively. The fact we can integrate directly into our CRM platform makes this 10x more convenient.

It is very user friendly and easy to learn. I am new to the company and have been able to learn it fairly quickly.

**What do you dislike about Act-On?**

There isn't much that comes to mind. The main thing that I dislike (as well as customers) that you can't sort the Inbox by date. It would be nice to be able to sort certain sections in certain ways.

I just want to state how excellent Jad Ziade and Vaughn Trias has been to work with. They are always so friendly, helpful, and quick to respond.

**What problems is Act-On solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Act-On has helped us greatly with the email deliverability of our customers by providing us monthly reports/findings.

It's intuative usage.  It's mainly drag and drop so you do not need to be an HTML expert to build really nice looking landing pages or emails.

It can be tricky to perfectly integrate the correct mapping sequence into your CRM.  Not impossible, but it can be tricky at times.

Customer engagement!  Prior to my company employing Act-On all the customer interaction was done via phone or direct contact with a sales team member.  My company is global and needed a better way to stay in continuous communication with current and potential customers.  Act-On fills that gap wonderfully.

I love so many features about Act-On! I highly recommend this company. 

1) Act-On is brave enough to take on product enhancements and actually listens to client feedback. They aren’t afraid of change; they embrace it. The marketing industry is constantly changing, so I HAVE to know my vendor isn’t afraid to adapt. 

2) When Act-On does make enhancements, they are fantastic. I’m not a coder (Like...at all). I don’t know how to code in any capacity. The best part of  Act-On is that it is PERFECT for someone like me. The interface is so easy to use and quick to learn.

3)  The training and support teams are outstanding. Whether it's an online webinar, an in person phone call, reaching out to their help desk, or working with my Account Manager, I feel that the entire Act-On staff cares about my team and my company's success. Because of the world-class support, I get to spend more time doing my job than troubleshooting a challenging software system.

The platform is easy to use and navigate without having to be a coding expert. The WYSIWYG editor is user friendly. It's easy to toggle between HTML and visual view when creating emails.

I primarily use it as an account support to over 100 users. It would be nice to have a way to communicate directly to the users within the platform. We would also like a way to share content with selected groups of these users, rather than all "all or nothing" option.

The training video courses and help documentation is a great resource. They have the whole program covered with great examples of how to use features.

We are helping over 100 small business with their email marketing by creating content and sharing it for their use.  Our customers are very happy to have content created for them and quickly and easily adjust the templates before sending them out to their customers. We have a suite of automated programs available to our customers as well that were easy to set up, share, and implement across all of the accounts.

**What do you like best about Act-On?**

Excellent and easy to build journeys and automations complete with great support and training.  The team at Act-On really scaffolded our squad and this has really helped us adopt and learn the new skills.  This wasn't the case with all of the various firms for which we reviewed their offerings.  We love the analytics and the ability to download our data into richer and more specific reporting to our needs.  In addition, the integration within MS Dynamics has moved us into a proactive pipeline development program, understanding when and how our customers are leveraging our content (or not) and being able to identify great leads.

**What do you dislike about Act-On?**

This isn't much to dislike about the service. Their support and training ensures success and the platform is the most user friendly that we found. You don't need a Master's Degree in Marketing Automation platforms to pick up the tool and be successful.

**What problems is Act-On solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been creating custom journeys for our alumni, friends and donors helping to better understand their interests and what information they'd like to get from us. In addition, through the platform's analytics, we have a much better picture of who is and who isn't opening, reading and clicking through our platform.  And its all synced up with our MS Dynamics CRM which is icing on the cake.

The thing I like the best about Act-On marketing software is that you can send automated email workflows to people who do a number of different triggers, including form submissions, API connections from a separate CRM, and more! Some other features that our team currently like best are new Beta features like All Contacts. Once this gets the bugs figured out, it will be a more effective way to pull out certain data from the platform like dynamic behavior-based segmentation, improving people's capabilities to do more things in the Act-On marketing software.

**What do you dislike about Act-On?**

One thing I dislike about Act-On is the tools they provide that don't function correctly or efficiently they describe it as a tool that not many of their clients use, rather than addressing the issue at hand. This is a good opportunity for them to grow as a company for providing better client experiences by either sunsetting or improving certain features like their Marketing Funnels, Competitor List tool, etc.

I don't have any other current recommendations of the product at this time other than the recommendations and items I have provided in some of the questions from the review above.

**What do you like best about Act-On?**

My company only utilizes Act-On for email and web form creation, but for the features we do use, we are happy with the ease and usability of Act-On. I like the versatility of the various scheduling options, as well as how easy it is to manage your contacts via list/segment management. We are also looking to utilize lead scoring and marketing automation in the future, so it's nice to see the Act-On platform has an easy-to-understand user interface for all of its modules.

**What do you dislike about Act-On?**

Nothing comes to mind (from the features I use) that I dislike. I think Act-On could improve image management (including UI), but I've heard Act-On is working on an enhanced image management experience, per their digital roadmap. It's nice to know what is on the horizon for the platform.

**What problems is Act-On solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving our problem of not having a reliable system of record for our CRM. Act-On is currently acting as a CRM for Marketing function specifically, and it's served its purpose well in that regard as we wait to import our marketing contacts into MS Dynamics. In terms of managing our contacts and keeping them clean, Act-On has done a fabulous job of facilitating that.

It's very user-friendly and easy to navigate. The automated programs created through Act-On have greatly improved our ability to deliver timely and relevant marketing. We've been with Act-On for over four years now and have continued to see the platform make enhancements and offer new tools to improve the overall experience for marketers. On the rare occasion where we have a support need, their team is very responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Act-On?**

When we first started, I would say it was the training that was lacking. We'd never built an automated program, for example, and navigating that for the first time on our own was intimidating. Luckily, in the past few years, they've improved their customer outreach to promote and educate customers about new products and services. They also offer more specific training courses, webinars and more.

**What problems is Act-On solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we came to Act-On, we used a basic email marketing platform that created manual work and limited what we could do. We were manually uploading email lists and didn't have any automated journeys built out. 

Since coming to Act-On, we've integrated our data and built out several automated campaigns that provide our members a more personalized experience. These enhancements have ultimately improved our user experience and increased email engagement.
