I got this package as part of a bundle with Parallels VM, so can't complain about that. You get 1tb of cloud storage for your Acronis backups, so that's good value too. In diagnosing the problem with activity monitor, I found some issues. The application made a HUGE tmp db (or 2) in /private/var/db. Around 140gb! So I removed the application & these dbs, and immediately my laptop is humming beautifully again. Maybe they have fixed this issue now. I hope this helps others out there who have similar issues. Acronis true image is one of my main tools to make a complete copy of my hard drive because it is a fairly complete software, full of functions that make it one of the best. The features I like most about Acronis are: -The user interface is fast, simple and intuitive, thanks to that the backing of the information becomes faster. -You have full control over how and when the backups are updated, with the ability to schedule partial, incremental or full backups. - It has great compatibility with most operating systems such as Windows, Mac, iOS and Android, etc. - the price for all the functions offered by Acronis true image is cheap - It should also be noted that Acronis has a function of protection against ransomware, which although it is not a 100% effective protection is quite good and efficient, and with the implementation of an antivirus, your data will always be safe. When talking about making full copies of a hard drive, the first thing that comes to mind is the wonderful software that is Acronis True Image. What I like most about acronis true image is its variety of functions. As you can make backup copies of the hard disk images, it also has other features that include cloud storage and an option to restore disk partition information. I can also emphasize that the user interface is really very good, intuitive and very easy to use. In addition, the loading and copying speed of the hard disk is relatively fast. Another point in favor of Acronis True Image is the protection it offers against rasomware since I know that my files and documents are subject to possible malicious attacks. Acronis True Image is, without a doubt, an excellent software. Thanks to the ability to make copies of files and images from the hard drive in the cloud, so far are one of my best options. Acronis True Image has many qualities to offer and is very useful when it comes to keeping my information backed up. One of the main features that I like about Acronis True Image is that it offers almost all possible backup options: incremental programming, differential and super flexible, pre/post operation commands, just to name a few. but it also has a unidirectional function, to synchronize a folder with a destination. What do you dislike about Acronis True Image? Although the truth Acronis true image is very good, not all are positive aspects. The interface is modern and appealing to the eye, but it is not intuitive. that's why at first glance, it becomes tedious. Another point to clarify is the large footprint that remains in the system, since all that functionality requires a good amount of processes in the background. although in my case I have a high-end PC and it does not show much, but in low-end PC it is a hard blow. While it still creates images of its units or partitions with industry precision, it also has an online storage component in Acronis Cloud.
