I like how simple Acorn is, it really is not complicated to use but it is not basic either, it has the exact and precise tools to create professional editions that are very useful to me. The circle text tool and the text on a path tool are amazing and very useful, make it a lot easier to get your text exactly how you want it to look. The file suppot gives me a lot of confidence since I know my editions are safe, and the streamless editing tools are great as well. It is very cheap for all it offers, i love the ease it offers for creating editions, it is quick to open the software, customize the image, save it and use it!! The free software doesn not include the best tools, and I think that if someone is testing for the first time the software, they can get desmotivated since the software does not show what it actually offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No doubt Acorn is affordable in price. It provides better options for sellecting the desired size before uploading a picture. It has many standard tools that are versy simple and easy to use, layer editing is one of the good function i have sceen in it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its good but there are some limitations it only supports MacsOS. It lacks modern AI tools. It dont provide vast functionality some times it promotes uncommon use of file formate use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's the most straightforward way of creating and producing great projects containing images.
The tools available in this image editing application are so quick and easy to implement. It also has a fantastic processing path tool.
There are also features for adding text style, size and color. You can customize it according to your needs and interest.
It is an affordable tool with all the benefits and features compared to Photoshop's expertise.
It is best for working on medium and high-level projects; fewer expert users can use it easily with just a few training hours.
Acorn software provides you with a good and innovative result, which will be unique too.
It would be a blessing for graphics designers to implement tools for producing high-level work.
The UI is fully customizable and well-arranged and can be changed according to the user's interest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no option for directly paying for the software via cards. The software purchasing feature is quite out dated and time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of best layer based editing tool and photoshop inmport service and also you will get raw image import services. Easily you can design curves and levels and you get service like crop, erase, paint, clone, Pan zoom etc at one platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Deep Color image support needs to be improve according to the new ganeration and also They need to acces the service other operating system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Acorn is one of those programs you'll wonder how you lived without! I use it whenever I need to design a quick layered graphic because it's incredibly easy to use (not over-bloated with fancy features). You can create layered art with text, plus you have tools for things like instant alpha or cloning – all at a one-time price rather than a never-ending subscription! Exporting is quick as well, with multiple format options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I do get annoyed trying to accomplish something, but it's likely due to my limited understanding rather than the program itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not a professional editing software, however, it meets what it is, perhaps it reminds me a bit of inKscape and even so, good quality editions can be achieved with the tools it provides and, like all editing software of this type, its handling is simple. and very intuitive. The software is only available for MacOS and I'm not saying that the fact that it is exclusive to MacOS isn't a problem, but it is necessary to purchase an apple product to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Acorn is a stand-out product I recommend all the time, to anyone who needs to do simple illustration or photo editing on the Mac. It's my go-to image editor, one of only four apps that sits in the toolbar of my Finder.
Whilst it renders to bitmap images, Acorn's internal format allows you to preserve vector layers of shapes and text over the top. So it's a replacement for simple vector editors - I reach for it ahead of Sketch.
As a technical achievement, it's very impressive (speaking as a dev with 40 years experience). The Acorn filters and operations are blindingly fast. Often, you forget it's doing something complicated because the experience is so smooth.
I'm someone who has to dive into using a tool suddenly then often doesn't get back to it for weeks. Acorn's highly usable and intuitable interface makes this easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I struggle to find fault as it's such a thoughtfully polished product. The only complaint I'd have is that their App Store strategy is to release new versions with a limited time 50% upgrade. I'm pretty sure this is an Apple limit that they cannot offer a discounted upgrade directly to users of previous versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
How easy everything is! It is simple to use, especially for beginners. I really enjoy using this application regularly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have note found any dislikes. This is a great app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Of Acorn I really like the ease it provides when editing, it is a simple editor where I can edit minor projects whenever I need to. I love the circle text tool and the text on a path tool, make it easy to get my text exactly how I want it to look like. Basically, Acorn has all the photoshop tools, but less complicated and cheaper, which is amazing because if you have experience on the design fields, you can have amazing results with a simple software like this. I think my problem with Acorn is that it is not available por PC's and there are times when working on my cellphone is not the best option, I think they should expand it to PC's too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
