My client needed to implement Workday and this company helped strategize a plan, road map and deploy. They are the one-stop-shop to figuring everything from beginning to end. There were a couple of hiccups but nothing that impacted the waves of deployment. **What do you like best about Accenture?** I think the people were the best part. My client loved the team and was really pleased with working with them, that it almost became a family. **What do you dislike about Accenture?** With implementation projects, there are always hiccups that come along the way especially when you are in an industry where you work with clients. There were a couple of things that should have been done in the assessment phase to really evaluate and have a 100% confident plan. In this case, the client themselves want to rush the assessment and there were budget restrains on their end. However, despite all of this they managed to deliver on time in the end and everyone has pleased with the results. **Recommendations to others considering Accenture:** If you are looking for a one-stop-shop for Workday planning and implementation, I would 100% go for it. It is a little pricey so definitely do the comparison with the competitors, however I was pleased that my client was pleased with the services Accenture DayNine provides. **What problems is Accenture solving and how is that benefiting you?** Like I said in a previous question,this company helped strategize a plan, road map and deploy. They are the one-stop-shop to figuring everything from beginning to end. They help solve the problem of who do we go to for what. Because everyone is so fully aware of the product and the challenge - it just really helped having them for everything. ### 6. I'm not sure how they have helped the company in the past but they are messing us up big time right now. Their code is unorganized and not streamlined; full of logic holes. They gave us excellent support through the entire implementation process and talked us through everything we had questions about. The project took around three months to complete and we were able to stay within our time frame and within our budget as well. **What do you like best about Accenture?** We really liked how professional and knowledgeable Accenture was during the entire implementation process. We also really appreciated the great support they offered after the go live when we had some additional questions, and they were very responsible and helped us quickly to address the concerns that we had. **What do you dislike about Accenture?** There isn't anything to complain about, we had a great experience with Accenture. We would be very happy to work with them again. They are a very reputable consulting firm and for good reason. We researched consulting partners before we purchased our CRM system and we were very happy with the choice we made to go with Accenture to help us with the implementation. **Recommendations to others considering Accenture:** After working with Accenture on our implementation, we would highly recommend Accenture as an implementation partner because they are great to work with and can really help guide you through the entire implementation process from start to finish, as well as any follow up questions and concerns you may have after the go live. They were asked to review and recommend our CRM system, along with that we were revamping our website so they recommended a CMS system that we installed as well. A bunch of creative work went into the website redesign and emails that correlated with the design. All the features synced with our CRM system. **What do you like best about Accenture?** They brought in a full team and each had their own speciality. We stayed on track to meet deadline. **What do you dislike about Accenture?** I believe we did a lot within the project and it was a big expense. I feel a few things were stretched out. I don't believe everything we got was cutting edge and thinking about tomorrow instead of today. I would like to see them think down the road and not what is going on now. Part of it might have to do with our budget. **Recommendations to others considering Accenture:** Only include those that need to work on your project and cut dead weight. Overall, they were very helpful, but similar to many consulting companies, it seemed like they took a while to implement easy things - just to increase the duration of the project. **What do you like best about Accenture?** I really liked how the consultants were available whenever I needed. They were attentive, in the office, and always helpful with my questions. They walked me through how to use SharePoint (since it can be a bit confusing) and they were patient with my confusion. Every seemed willing to help and knowledgeable. Overall, a great experience with the consultants. **What do you dislike about Accenture?** I felt like they dragged out the project. They kept trying to show me advanced management techniques that I would not use. I was not the SharePoint Admin and with the continued education, the project went over budget and timeline. They were helpful but a little TOO pushy. **Recommendations to others considering Accenture:** Have your questions and issues spelled out. This is common with a lot of consulting agencies (pushing the timeline), but be stern on what you're looking for, when you'd like it, and any questions. They have many different areas of expertise that they help to cover. Not only did they assist in helping us set up our Marketing software but they helped to consult on other IT operations within our organization. I would recommend them for any project. Keep in mind a good implementation is based on truly understanding your own needs and being able to identify what the scope of the project needs to be and communicating that with your implementation team. It is a joint effort between the organization using the product and the implementation team. Communication is a must to be a success! **What do you like best about Accenture?** They are very flexible and understand their customers. Willing to listen to what is needed now and how to grow in the future. **What do you dislike about Accenture?** One of the key things that needs to be identified is key stakeholders within an organization. It isn't really something I would say I dislike other than making sure the correct people are identified at the onset of a project of who should be involved. The other dislike is sometimes the cost. But no matter who you go with, things can get a little over budget when the scope of the project is not tied down early on. ### 22. Throughout the courtship with a new partner you always wonder if they like you as much as you like them. The feeling was mutual in this case as we each brought very different skill sets to the table to best serve the shared customer. **What do you like best about Accenture?** It's always great to meet good people who work for cool companies, and it's even better when customers trust them. These guys are trustworthy and professional. Also their willingness to take on a new UX platform as a challenge and learn it and own it stood out to us from other partners we have worked alongside. **What do you dislike about Accenture?** Nothing really to dislike about these guys. Maybe ... if I have to answer, they are resistant to having all employees buy Skuid licenses, as well as have all engineering resources take our formalized training program and get certified. ### 23. After that time, we had the product up and running without issues. They trained a couple of guys of our organization, and the training was fine, because we have been capable to fix ourselves some issues we had. **What do you like best about Accenture?** They really seem that know they were doing... they send three full-time consultants for over a month, and the price was good. The training was very good too, with good online and presencial material. **What do you dislike about Accenture?** At first, they send a very good consultant, and two scholars, for the price of three senior consultants. We talk with them the next day, and they send us the correct proffessionals. They end offering us a bag of support hours for the inconvenience. **Recommendations to others considering Accenture:** Make sure that they send you the right consultors. They have good stuff, but they try to sell scholars as seniors for our Office 365 implementation project. After that, all was fine, they send very proffessional consultors. ### 26. Not having tried any of the competitors, i'm not sure we ever will because their support was amazing. They had a fast turnaround time for the work given to them.They have many skills under their roof. They assigned people on our time zone to work with us. **What do you dislike about Accenture?** While they had given us lines of communications they didn't respond to us in a timely manner. When an update was to be delivered there was a non response from the project manager and developer. Emails and phone calls were not returned at all. We had to contact a VP to get back to us and it took a day to get back to us. They were fast to move on working but they missed details of the work needed to be done. For example we needed an excel script made but the developer worked on OSX and the macro did not function as well on Windows. No one else was assigned that could do it natively on Windows, it did not work very smoothly on a Windows computer, an in house person had to fix it. **Recommendations to others considering Accenture:** They should look to other vendors as they do not seem to offer very good communication or support. They should demand the people working on their project use the same environment as their own to ensure the work is compatible with the systems. Get contact information from executives and managers of the people you are working with if they become non communicative. Do your own homework, they offered up solutions that were more expensive to the cost of the project when a little leg work would have solved it without additional cost. ### 42. Their rates are going to be a little bit high and just like any other big organization, they'll have some good consultants and some bad consultants, but they also have a lot of resources at their disposal to help drive projects to completion quickly.
