"Robust CRM & Project Management Software - Lots of Setup"

What do you like best about Accelo?

It has the potential to manage everything in one place - schedules, time entry, client invoicing, client/vendor relationships. Lots of integration options.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

Because there are so many options it can be tricky when you're setting things up. There are many ways to do one thing but not all of them will be right for your business.

Recommendations to others considering Accelo:

I highly recommend starting the build-out process with Accelo BEFORE you start using the system and adding information. Our team jumped into full work mode out of the gate and while the experience for all of us was invaluable we had to do a lot of backtracking because we didn't fully understand how everything interacted or depended on each other. There are a lot of dependencies in the system and if you don't understand them before you start adding things it creates a lot of garbage in the system.

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having all our projects and schedules in one place makes it easier to manage resources.

What do you like best about Accelo?

It allows us to track the progress of our projects on multiple levels simultaneously. The way the data is organized, we can drill down into specific areas to evaluate our performance and to quickly address areas for improvement. The "Project Stream" is a great tool as well. New projects move seamlessly from Sales to the studio with all of the relevant information already set up.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

Not much. I wish the calendar views and interactions were more intuitive and easier to navigate. Otherwise, we have been extremely happy with Accelo and grateful for the many, many ways it has empowered us to manage our business more effectively.

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

All of the managers are able to view the critical information on their projects in a matter of seconds. Our old method of quickbooks, and spreadsheets and calendars in decentralized formats was VERY ineffecient. We spend more time serving our clients and far less time chasing down data from decentralized sources. Setting up and administering contracts is easy and the templates tie to our delivery schedules. It allows a level of detail in the inputting of time by our employees that lets us see where the time goes in our projects and empowers us to craft better and more accurate proposals.

I will recommend Accelo to users dealing with a significant amount of jobs and clients. It will help you have everything organized, clarified, and recorded.

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

We always use Accelo to run the jobs smoothly from sales, engineering, QA, sign off and invoice. It's convenient for each person to understand the progress of each job. Also easy fr us to find out all the related communications. That's fatastic.

"Great tool for staying organized!"

What do you like best about Accelo?

The most helpful aspect of Accelo is that you can go back and review all of the time you spent in the past on certain tasks to easily keep track of everything you have done.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

One thing I dislike about Accelo is that it does not have a direct connection to emails and attachments. It would be a lot easier if we could email or send messages to clients through the Accelo program.

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

The update in Accelo made the site easier to navigate with symbols and titles so that you always know what page you are on.

"Accelo"

What do you like best about Accelo?

Easy to use for time sheets. The feature of it importing time doesn't appear to be of much value.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

A little cumbersome to make changes. Can't add time in advance (like if I know I am traveling and will be working all day, I can't go ahead and log that time).

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Using for time mainly, but we are starting to use for contact logging. It just isn't robust enough yet for managing contacts to be able to really use as a CRM.

"Increase productivity and sales!"

What do you like best about Accelo?

We love that we are all connected now!

We work better as a team because all projects have been set up to assist our clients.

We have increase sales and productivity without hiring more staff!

I love how Accelo communicates and supports their clients and that they are always striving to make their program better and do so by taking an interest how their customers use their software.

I love that I can customize a lot of features

I love the integrations with google (wish there was more)

Love that it has automation and cant wait to get them set up more so we can make more money! Would love help lol

What do you dislike about Accelo?

I would like to be able to add milestones to the task board.

I wish I could see more options for the Deadline Task Board - Like seeing into the future so we could easily schedule a month. Google Calander Merge?

I wish I could remove the add activity (blue button) in the upper left corner for non-management staff.

I wish it was easier for Quickbooks and Accelo to work together.

Wish the Contacts had easier add's for more addresses and phone numbers for the same person. This is super confusing.

I wish attachments and BOX could speak together.

I wish Accelo could fix our request/issues or add automation for us so I didn't have to fix or set it up - hourly rate or a monthly add on for support?

I wish Accelo could fetch emails faster from gmail.

I wish there was a mindful pop-up that could record your daily usage and when you rached a specific time log a popup said YOUR AWESOME SAUCE you have reached your half way goal... like my apple watch!! lol

Project naming could be custom and start at the sales level.

Sales Estimates naming could be custom.

Wish I cold move line items in Milestone templates.

Wish other members could create a new activity in a sales stream without paying for them. They don't need access to anything else in there.

Sales Requests capture. Wish it worked better. I love that we can use requests. Would love to see something to integrate an email request to a Accelo Request.

Templates are the friggen BOMB! love templates!

"AE Drafting Team - Architectural Drafting"

What do you like best about Accelo?

Ticket system, project management system, billing system, automation of emails, auto-scheduling, mass task re-assign, Ability to manage every part of a project with super accuracy and detail in the project roadmaps.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

Nothing stands out as an issue at this time. I initially didn't like the 15 minute lag time to receive emails on the server. But it allows you to slow down and service the required needs of each client. Having a slight delay is actually really helpful. If you need to view an email faster you can also go into your Gmail and see it instantly.

Recommendations to others considering Accelo:

Listen. Read the manuals. Watch the videos. Study. Train your staff. Work hard studying for a few weeks. After you get into the system it can change your business and your life. Use all the modules. Embrace technology. My 75-year-old dad even still tries to keep up with technology, we all struggle. Embrace the struggle until you learn. So my best advice to anyone trying Accello is to study for several weeks, do the Accello training, and take it seriously. It will be frustrating at first. I can say our clients are happier, employees are happier, and numbers have never looked better. Take the leap!

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are currently are running our entire architectural drafting company using the system. We really like that we can attach our pertinent HTML files to the attachment area. Being able to attach HTML links to our projects has sped us up about 14 hours a week.

We are using the ticket system to handle all incoming requests from clients. We went from a scattered email to organized game plans to address the fluidity of corrections coming in daily from clients. Having the ticket system eliminated part of the stress of figuring out what to do next or forgetting altogether about said task.

We created project templates that can guess the permit dates for clients. And now for all clients, we just discuss their permit date instead of them worrying about all the little deadlines in the middle; they can see the overall is still on track.

Our clients are enjoying tracking the projects through the design team's progress.

"Awesome Software that is time saving"

What do you like best about Accelo?

I love Accelo, the program is easy to use, it incorporates a lot of different aspects, like PM and Invoicing all in one. It's clicks of a button to invoice clients with no hassle. The app timer on the phone is awesome for meetings out of the office. The email tracking is the best thing ever. The support services you get from the team is fantastic.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

None really! just a couple of small custom items would be nice, but if you need something the team is really good about trying to figure it out and add it or have it on a list for when more people request it.

Recommendations to others considering Accelo:

When I started LPF we looked high and low for software that did everything for a reasonable price and not tens of thousands of dollars. Email tracking was a key item for me, especially on projects.

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows my staff to work in one program instead of multiple. The email tracking allows the entire team to know whats going on in projects even if they aren't cc'd. Again the invoicing prevents me from having to export info. I just invoice the hours and then go to Xero and hit approve. When invoices are paid, again click of the button and it shows in Accelo. It cuts down on time big time.

"Brilliant all in one solution once familiar with the systems"

What do you like best about Accelo?

I like how accelo has is becoming the central hub for all the admin work. the automation of a lot of processes is a great time saving tool if you put in the work to set everything up correctly. the workshops with accelo representatives were also very helpful early on.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

Some parts can be quite complicated which may be off putting to new users but persistence is key to get the best out of accelo

The automated processes are great for saving time and the rapid generation of quotes and risk assessments based on inputted formats is also very useful

You can create a custom process to fit your business. You can see all the hours logged on a project and where the time is spent.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

I can't create custom buckets/categories for cards in a board view.

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Taking too many hours to complete tasks, knowing total hours spent on projects, knowing when invoices are sent and paid.
