"Complex Practice Management, but Incredibly Valuable and Unparalleled in the Market"

What do you like best about Accelo?

Task and email management are built into the ecosystem, with seamless time logging and billing. I haven't seen this offered anywhere else. Rather than just integrate with your email, you can work from within the program all the while recording your time and billing rate for each task automatically.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

It can be very daunting when first starting out due to the sheer amount of capabilities and options available. Everything is connected so a simple mistake early on in your workflow such as how you set up your tasks can show up eventually when billing. I recommend working with their professional services team to get your workflow set up properly and avoid the headache of the trial and error approach. I worked with Siobhan and she was very adaptable to my learning style and schedule, which is very rare in the consulting space! I highly recommend this option rather than stumbling through it as I first did.

Recommendations to others considering Accelo:

If you aren't already working with a proper workflow, I recommend setting these up first for your company so you can do an organized implementation. I recommend splurging for the customized setup and training, it's really worth it. I know they're working now on their training and ease of onboarding so this should only improve.

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

My biggest problem has been that after my workday, even if I've completed a full day's work, I'm never able to relax. Due to the number of clients I work with, each with their issues and details to keep on top of, my evenings and weekends consisted of reviewing my work in my head to make sure that I didn't miss anything. I'm very organized but still had too much trouble trying to see all my current work right in front of me to where I can confidently shut off for the day. Learning to use Accelo properly means that I can now be sure that I record an issue correctly as it happens. Almost as important, I can now recall these notes very quickly, even if I'm jumping from one client meeting to another, or just picking up a call and being able to catch up on the situation. I've barely scratched the surface as I'm only using a few tools so far and I'm working on perfecting them. I used to dread when clients called with a new issue as this is another thing that I have to keep on top of. I always felt like I needed to finish all of my work to be able to stop. Now I can just schedule new tasks immediately and let the client know then when I'll be able to complete this for them. So I don't have to always play catch up or do the work from the client who's shouting the loudest.

I still don't understand some of the time tracking features and can't get to a good place where the utilization report is accurate

What do you like best about Accelo?

It is easy to use. Accelo's recorded video training has been beneficial. It uses a simple system language that even a non-technical person can understand easily.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

I hope they have an easy-to-edit dashboard where we can update the project status.

Whenever a request is raised via email with an attachment by the client, email doesn't get attached automatically in request in Accelo

As a consultant, I am providing solutions to my customers.In that course of action I expect this tool to be a one-point solution for my need and that's what it does. It brings up all those things which is required for running a business at one place like timesheet ,billing ,expenses etc

What do you like best about Accelo?

The functionality of Accelo allows business owners to easily track every piece of work going on in their business, to either identify profit centres or to eliminate revenue leakage.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

Accelo has a minimum user stipulation which makes it inaccessible to one or two man bands.

Perform a proper review of your requirements before considering Accelo as the solution because once you're in, you won't want to leave!

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

I solved many problems using Accelo. Managing retainers efficiently was a huge one for me. The retainers module made it super easy to track all work happening for any client.

"It tells me everything I need to do at work, when I need to do it."

What do you like best about Accelo?

Task triggers. I live in account management, and being able to set criteria that determine if a customer is due for follow-up is a game-changer. It allows me to keep my calendar open for meetings, while also keeping me on track and accountable.

It also has stopped me from forgetting about follow-ups. It just doesn't allow for that to happen, because of how we've programmed the triggers. Simple stuff like 'if no inbound or outbound communication has been receive for 4 days, set a task' has really changed the game for how I handle account management and how I prioritise my own memory.

Additionally, triggers have made a lot of the repetitive notifications to business partners become completely automated. I'm using automation logic to notify business partners about status changes to shared opportunities with near zero-touch, which they love.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

I'd love to be able to split single tasks with other staff members. We have a lot of cross-department work that needs to be done at the same time, and currently we need to set the same task multiple times inside of one project or milestone to ensure that everyone is working on it together, but then each task contains on its own set of activities.

I also wish the tablet browser experience was a bit smoother. I'd love to be able to use Accelo on an iPad without needing an external mouse. This would make travelling for work a lot lighter.

Recommendations to others considering Accelo:

Take the time to analyse and reconsider your workflows. Everything should be on the table, and everyone should be open to change. There's always a better way to get to the same endpoint, and seek consultative advice early.

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

It enables me to appear really proactive to my clients, ensures we're hitting all the appropriate touchpoints, but removes the need for me to tediously micromanage my own schedule.

I really enjoy the task management feature and seeing where our team is as we work to complete projects for our clients. This is a great way to transparently see how things are moving along! I also enjoy how easy it is to track my time within the platform.

"Accelo is a powerful tool to help manage progress of leads and projects from start to finish"

What do you like best about Accelo?

I like the dashboards the best. a quick 'at a glance' perspective on where you are at and what you need to focus on. I also like that the workflows are customisable. Having that ability was really helpful

What do you dislike about Accelo?

There is no functionality in creating your own reports. If i could create my own reports according to my own metrics, that would be really helpful as i often find I need to pull data from multiple reports and combine them manually

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Managing clients through the whole journey. I can see what potential there is in a client and can hold all of the communication, documentation and project work all in the one place for reference and continuity

"Accelo- Accelerate your business with ready to use CRM"

What do you like best about Accelo?

The best thing about the tool is the provision of a variety of reports which help us make more informed business decisions and it provides excellent project collaboration capabilities that help in easy dring of the business. It is easy to use and provides a great variety of APIs for integration with other systems.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

There is still a major learning curve while working with respect to implementation which takes some time and requires training with this tool and there is a scope of better support facilities.

The major downside which I visualized is the project scheduling interface which lacks the agility and flexibility you'd expect from any current project management.

Recommendations to others considering Accelo:

I must advice that explore all the use cases and try to do a thorough comparison with other tools and then go for it.

Being a small organization our team and different departments like sales , finance and IT used to work in silo through different stages of customer management cycle but now we are trying to increase our customer retention rate , improve touchpoints with the customer and get more sales
