"We love Accelo! It is much easier to use than any other accounting software we have tried."

What do you like best about Accelo?

I love that when you create an invoice, you can easily hit the BACK button without fear that you have just destroyed all of the work you created. This program is wonderful!!

What do you dislike about Accelo?

The only complaint I have is that when a transaction is created and a number generated, if you have other transactions that you would like to add to an invoice, for instance, you created an invoice, and it was finished, but now you would like to add another transaction to the same invoice, you cannot pull the original in. You have to add it in on a line, but it doesn't pull the original transaction number into it.

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Accelo is an all in one solution to business! It helps to keep contacts, projects, accounting, from start to finish. You have the ability to see in charts, what your progression is and where we can use some work bettering our system.

"Organize our work plan and cost"

What do you like best about Accelo?

Accelo helped us to organize our work plan and control the cost so easy reference to create bills, work schedule or work plan as well as reporting to the client or our internal.

No, we use Accelo because we know that this Application can help us in managing schedules, work plans, and controlling costs by managing staff working time using Accele

This is web application that you can use anywhere and anytime but it is always under your control

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

So far we haven't had any problems, but maybe when we first started using Accelo because we had to adapt to changes from the previous system, And this App. is recommended to use especially for company services, accountant, etc.

What do you like best about Accelo?

I like the project management dashboard and the billing integration with Xero

What do you dislike about Accelo?

I wish I could have great integration with my inbox and Hubspot

"Pretty Seamless CRM software"

What do you like best about Accelo?

Putting in time against project/ticket/retainer is easy and you are able to track if you are under or over budget

What do you dislike about Accelo?

To change status for Projects is a bit of a pain. I had to go to each project to change status instead of doing it seamlessly in the project list.

It's a pretty versatile and reliable CRM software, highly recommended

"The only option if you run pre-paid retainers"

What do you like best about Accelo?

We spent a long time looking for a CRM / PSA that would allow us to manage our sales pipeline, but also most importantly our weekly recurring retainers. It is the retainer module of Accelo that made it stand out to us. It was really the only CRM that gave us the ability to manage our pre-paid recurring retainers effectively.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

The user interface isn't the best that is out there. It can be intimidating to new staff, however it is certainly not bad and would still recommend it

We use it is our central platform to manage our business. WE have been able to have clearer view of what is happening in our business with enhance ability to measure staff and see whats happening in our client retainers.

"Small accounting firm reshaping client and employee experience with Accelo."

What do you like best about Accelo?

Accelo has helped our firm:

1) Standardize our workflow on tax work. This via Accelo project and or retainer custom workflows.

2) Automate some tasks that would have usually required a manually follow up. This via Accelo Triggers.

3) Provide better client communication via a self help portal that can provide file/current engagement views. This via Accelo client facing secure portal with very customizable user permissions build in.

4) Wonderful integration with office 365.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

1) Syncing with QuickBooks desktop and online works but is not a true bi-directional sync for customer information and invoice changes. Accelo is working on this thou and it seems to be based on a limitation from an intuit API perspective which is updated regularly. So we have high hopes that the sync will be a true bi-direction sync in the future for customer information and invoices.

2) Office 365 calendar, email, and contacts are flawless. Tasks are another story. This likely based on an API limitation based on outlooks tasks. We would like to see as a replacement a Lync with SharePoint as one possibility

Recommendations to others considering Accelo:

The toughest part of adapting Accelo is taking a long hard look at your current processes and then making changes to better adabt to a professional service management system. This will cause problems with entrenched priciple business owners used to an older system of client and engagment managent. With that said it is important to understand in detail how your service business can utilize a service like Accelo with the support of management before moving forward

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Specifically the following:

1) A bottleneck of open items and questions to complete tax work. By utilizing Accelo triggers - custom retainer fields - and Accelo work flow progressions we have been able to send automated email reminders to clients every week. This has helped clients follow up quicker and when deadlines approach removed the issue of "why is my work not done". Accelo is all about communication with clients we have found.

2) Follow up during the year. By utilizing the office 365 integration and the Lync with clients in Accelo a trigger has been setup to send a friendly email to those clients where communication has not been made for 60, 120 days. This simple email trigger has improved client retention as well as led to further billing opportunities basically paying for the Accelo service fees.

3) Improved overall work quality by forcing the tax professional both at the prepare and reviewer level to follow a preset yet flexible workflow that communicates with the client every step of the way. Accelo has helped us provide a more informed client experience with a better product/service overall.

"All-in-one system for Accounting/Consulting Firms"

What do you like best about Accelo?

Liked how integrated Accelo is with Gmail, including how it suggests calendar appointments when filling out time tracking, you can send emails and meeting requests within Accelo and Accelo records the time in drafting the email, and that staff member emails sent to a contact that's in Accelo get recorded in Accelo..

What do you dislike about Accelo?

As with any system that is feature rich, it is a bit complicated at first. You just have to carve out time to do new features each week.

Recommendations to others considering Accelo:

Try it out and test out your biggest pain points.

We also considered WorkETC and Krow. Accelo just seemed to have a smoother interface and we liked how well it integrated to Google mail. If we used Sales Force we might have considered Krow more.

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest benefits are time savings from being in one system instead of multiple and getting reports on staff utilization and client profit margins.
