What do you like best about Accelo?

Accelo's ability to track budget monthly on retainers, roll budget over to subsequent months, and related retainer-based tracking features make it stand out for us amongst its competitors.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

It's a constantly-evolving platform that has proven buggy and frustrating on rare occasions, but their team seems to be consistently listening to feedback and making improvements. I also wish Accelo refreshed in real-time like Asana does, without having to reload the page manually.

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Accelo is implementing better billing features, because as of now we have to bill recurring revenue through Xero. For a platform focused on recurring retainers, it has been frustrating that it doesn't support billing of those retainers directly, and we're happy they're working on it.

"Thorough Tool and Excellent Onboarding!"

What do you like best about Accelo?

Accelo provides our team with all the bells and whistles we need. From retainer management, project management to customer relationship management, we have better visibility to where our time is allocated throughout our organization.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

Accelo is thorough in its features, providing many ways to accomplish a particular goal. Luckily for us, our implementation manager walked us through these various approaches and best practices to keep us working with the same methodology.

Don't fret about the onboarding — Accelo's implementation process is best in class!

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

We can better understand where our time is allocated and can easily track hours against retainer periods. It also provides a level of resource visibility that we haven't been able to access historically.

"Simple amazing tool and easy to use!"

What do you like best about Accelo?

I love the retainer included the most. I'm ready to effectively arrange retainers, their worth and hours apportioned to every client. While Accelo was deficient with regards to a portion of the mechanized usefulness found in some different frameworks, it was the email incorporation that at last sold us.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

The absence of an expert work schedule page. It would be great if Accelo had a more precise plan line. There is by all accounts an excessive number of choices.

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have a lot more prominent perceivability of all our correspondence with our customers. It gains it simple to follow the headway of a task through achievements.

"Powerful Capabilities & Useful Integrations"

What do you like best about Accelo?

As a service-based digital agency, we use Accelo as a CRM, project management tool, time tracking, and ticket-based request system. By integrating the CRM with project management and time tracking, we streamline the process of billing. Projects can be assigned as recurring retainers with tasks or as single tickets. There are multiple ways to track project time: task timers, logging time within a retainer or project, adding time from the task board or from the daily timesheet. This variety of time tracking methods allows employees to keep track of their time in the way that works best for them. Integrations with Gmail ensure that client communications are recorded and accessible to the whole team.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

It can be a bit tricky to learn how to use it, just because there are so many elements managed within one tool and so many different ways to go about accessing information and tracking time.

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having one central place to manage projects, track time, and record client communication means that we can be more transparent as a team and keep everyone in the loop about who is responsible for what part of a project and how each piece fits into the project as a whole. Anyone can look back at client communications or check the status of a task to figure out exactly where we stand.

"The SalesForce of project management"

What do you like best about Accelo?

Accelo is a good solution for professional service companies requiring a platform to manage and control project and retainer costs and profitability. It is easy to create quotes, convert to projects and bill, along with recording time and associated costs.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

I called it the SalesForce of project management because its most significant weakness is the number of ways you can configure things and the complexity that can result. It is also a bit lightweight on reporting (most solutions are), so we have exported data to build better dashboards. Finally, the integration with Xero is not as effective and seamless as it could be, but we have created a solution of sorts.

"Great all in one system to get services moving in the right direction"

What do you like best about Accelo?

Forward-thinking/modern design towards time planning, integrates with the systems that our consultants use the most and ability to manage retainers and more than basic contract arrangements with customers. Email capture and logging assists consultants to not need to remember fine details and also tracks the actual work that they do, helping to build an accurate picture of what is really going on.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

Handling multiple countries can be challenging - public holidays across multiple grographies and multiple currencies

What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Getting our team on the same page managing some customer contracts wholistically. We moved off a time tracking based system and had a lot of troubles managing retainer balances.
