Early monitization not much else is redeeming about them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They charge 50% commission on the ads. As well as charge to host on the site, and keep that little bit of info in the fine print. Some shady practices for a company but absolute terrible at customer service, they take a asinine about of money for the ads, also take three months to pay out and then if you try to leave they completely stop talking to you. Even though they still owe three months of back ad payments then remove your RSS feed so you can’t move to a new hosting site, over all around a pretty terrible company I can not reccomend enough NOT useing them. The most helpful thing about Acast is their Free program. It has many useful features that can help you get your Podcast started and rolling.
The 2nd most helpful thing about Acast is its ease of use. Menus and screens are clearly laid out and easy to work with. Setting up a podcast is a very simple step-by-step operation. No detours, nothing confusing. Adding your episodes is also easy and painless.
I also like how Acast automatically sets up your podcast on Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube, Deezer, Podchaser, and Samsung. It is to manually submit your podcast to various high-profile podcast channels including Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and iHeart Radio.
Acast also gives you the resources to easily submit your Podcast to other channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The least helpful thing about Acast is their link to Patreon. It is confusing and bombed several times when I attempted to use it. I ended up setting up a separate account on Patreon and loading the podcast episodes manually on that platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's free AND makes publishing your shows incredibly easy! ACAST will automatically publish your show to Samsung, podchaser, JioSaavn, and Deezer. Publishing to Spotify and Amazon music is a breeze. The manual process to publish to Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio, Google Podcasts, and Stitcher do require more steps, but ACAST really makes the whole process simple to complete. Personally, nothing....at the moment. There is a per-episode size limit of 150MB (for a free account), but so far, that restriction has not been an obstacle for me Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The onboarding experience was clean and I had my podcast up and running in minutes. The platform is very easy to navigate and after trying a few other options I appreciated the simplicity.
The insights are stellar. I had to pay for similar insights on my old hosting platform but Acast provides equal if not better stats for free.
I'm hoping to do a membership for my listeners and excited to dig into their Acast+ toolkit but not quite there yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I had to dig through the integrations to find how to set up twitter and YouTube automation- would love for that process to be smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ads integration the most. I also like how my podcast is syndicated across the world. It's easy to monetize your podcast without a brand deal. This is a great solution for solo hosts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's hard to login sometimes. Their url can point yo different login credentials, which is kind of od confusing. Also, the free option does not allow you to monetize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The new interface and UX enhancements make it a lot easier to upload and monetize my podcast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Customer service hasn't been all that responsive in the past, and getting details on monetization has been a challenge at times. There have also been no proactive attempts to help improve our standing or reach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
