## 8am MyCase Reviews
  ### 1. Easy-to-Use Platform with Seamless Payments and Reliable Performance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander Jonathan Hardy S. | Research Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

The software is very easy to use, and the seamless integration with payments, including client portal access, is highly advantageous for my clients. The payment system, along with the accounting module and trust accounting, has also been very helpful for my solo practice. Compared with other platforms, it seems to understand exactly what I need without making things too complicated.

The performance is quite good. They are upgrading the interface, but I have never experienced any downtime or similar issues. The pricing is well aligned with the market. They do provide the service, and the system performs exactly as expected at a reasonable price.

The support and onboarding were quite good. The individual who brought me on board was very helpful in resolving small issues, such as connecting my bank account. Although it does have AI features, I have only used them a couple of times. I do not generally use them, but it is nice to have them available when I want to explore them further.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Sometimes I run into issues when transferring specific tasks between different cases. There are times I want to split tasks up for clients, but I end up having to do it manually. Importing also feels quite basic at the moment, although they do say they’re moving forward with improvements. On top of that, API access is locked behind a more expensive tier.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily with respect to trust accounting, it helps ensure that clients pay their bills by sending reminders. It also helps me make sure I bill for the time I’ve worked for each client. In addition, it serves as an essential repository where our clients can access their specific information on a case.

  ### 2. Useful for Case Management but Lacks Customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlotte S. | Legal Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2025

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I like being able to manage my time with 8am MyCase and see over a week how much time I'm spending on billing. It's also handy for sending documents to clients for e-signatures.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

I have a few issues with 8am MyCase. I wish I could change some of the dashboards because I don't always need to see the outstanding invoices for the entire firm, and as a partner, a lot of that isn't really my business or concern. Also, during our initial setup, a lot of our old files weren't transferred over, which was kind of a bummer.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 8am MyCase for case management and timekeeping. It helps me manage my time and track billing, giving me a better sense of how much money I'm pulling in. It's also helpful for sending documents to clients for e-signatures.

  ### 3. MyCase Review from an Operations Manager's Perspective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronique H. | Operations/Business Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I like the centralized communication features. Having the integrations that allow e-mails, client communications, and calls linked to cases is awesome, everything is in the same place. I also like the billing and payment tracking - a huge part of my job involves invoicing, collecting, retainer management, and account balances. I appreciate being able to see financial information without having to bounce between applications. I LOVE the workflow feature - it makes it easier to keep up with our cases, making sure everything stays on task. The activity feature along with status updates tied to users is especially helpful in tracking timelines on cases and who in our office touched it last. The client portal could use some upgrading but I like that we can share documents and tasks with clients. As far as performance the system is consistent, I can't think of very many times it was down. Pricing - I believe it is worth the price. I'm not happy that a feature we used is now considered "legacy" and we would have to pay more to use a feature you previously offered as included. Support for the system can sometimes be a little slow when needing a quick answer but I'm sure that is something being worked on. I don't use the AI/Intelligence feature that often but the few times I have used it it was a bit clunky. I prefer ChatGPT for AI.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

There are random glitches that can be annoying, but I always report them to support. I wish our clients could initiate matters/upload documents or conversations without having to link it to a case. I think the portal is pretty basic. I don't think this software was created for attorneys who handle evictions and have a lot of cases from the same clients, but we make it work for us.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem: Critical information lived in people's inboxes, heads, spreadsheets, sticky notes, or shared drives.

What MyCase solves:

Case documents are attached to matters.
Notes stay with the file.
Communications can be tracked.
Multiple team members can see the same information.

Problem: Without systems, growth creates chaos.

What MyCase solves:

Standard workflows.
Templates.
Consistent processes.
Shared visibility.

  ### 4. Reliable for Case Management, Needs More Legal Focus

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonja D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I've been using 8am MyCase since 2023, and it has been a lifesaver. My clients love that they can log on and securely view documents and see what is going on with their cases. I enjoy that it has macros that let me set up procedures for calendaring and tasks. The ability to remotely access files is great, and I appreciate the seamless integration with Dropbox. Clients can upload documents to Dropbox, and they automatically appear in MyCase, which is incredibly convenient.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

I'd like it to have more employment law focused areas that I did not have to build out. Deadlines could be set for each case. For example, I file an employment case, it could automatically populate tasks for service, then initial disclosures, then discovery, then depositions.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 8am MyCase for case management and calendaring. It lets clients securely view case documents and allows me to set up macros for organizing procedures. The remote access and Dropbox integration streamline file management.

  ### 5. An Efficient All-in-One Case Management Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

What I like best about 8am MyCase is how it keeps everything related to a case in one place. Having documents, client communications, tasks, deadlines, and notes organized together makes it much easier to stay on top of my workload without constantly switching between different tools.

One feature I use regularly is the document management system. Being able to quickly upload, organize, and retrieve files saves a significant amount of time, especially when preparing for meetings or responding to clients. The task and calendar features also help me keep track of deadlines, reducing the risk of missing important dates.

An unexpected benefit has been how much better organized my day feels. Having a centralized system for case management has reduced administrative work and given me greater confidence that everything is documented and easy to access whenever I need it.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

One area where 8am MyCase could improve is its messaging functionality. It would be very helpful to have the ability to send a single message to a group of clients who are associated with the same case type, rather than messaging each person individually. This would save time and make communication much more efficient.

I would also like to see better document editing capabilities within the platform. Being able to edit documents directly in MyCase, without having to download them, make changes in another program, and re-upload them, would streamline the workflow.

Finally, it would be useful to have the option to edit or correct a message after it has been sent. Even a short editing window for fixing typos or clarifying information would improve communication and help prevent unnecessary follow-up messages.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

8am MyCase solves the challenge of keeping case information organized and easily accessible. Instead of managing documents, client communications, tasks, and deadlines across multiple systems, everything is centralized in one platform. This makes it much easier to stay organized and quickly find the information I need.

The platform has improved my workflow by reducing the time spent searching for files or tracking down client communications. Having case details, calendars, and documents all in one place helps me work more efficiently, stay on top of deadlines, and provide faster responses to clients. Overall, it has streamlined day-to-day case management and made collaboration with my team much more effective.

  ### 6. MyCase Simplifies Billing, But Rising Fees Are a Concern for Solo Practitioners

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I’ve been using MyCase for about six years now, and it has really helped me get a better handle on my receivables. Clients also like the payment feature, and overall the system is easy and straightforward to use. As a result, I get paid on time, and my accounts receivable have improved tremendously. I also like the text feature. It helps me to easily and quickly communicate with my clients when they have a question and need a quick answer. I like this feature a lot.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

There are many add ons that are available. But, I do not use many of those add ons. I think that these add ons are being built into the subscription fee that i pay every year and it is driving up the cost of the yearly fee. This practice of raising the fee every year could eventually make MyCase unaffordable for me. I am a solo practicioner.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As stated earlier, my biggest problem in the past were receivables. MyCase has helped greatly. Also having the automated monthly billing feature has been a great way to keep clients on track who are on a payment plan. Also having the ablility to create a payment plan for clients help to make providing my legal services more affordable for clients.

  ### 7. All-in-One Solution for Solo Practitioners

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I really like that 8am MyCase is a single, all-in-one solution for pretty much anything related to case management. The file organization and storage are great, especially the ability to search for specific documents using keywords from the document. This feature is super valuable to me because it helps prevent me from getting overwhelmed and disorganized, which was a problem when I used to save everything on my desktop. Having everything organized this way streamlines my work significantly. Also, the initial setup of 8am MyCase was very easy.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

I think that the Word integration needs work and better training. I do not find it helpful. I am also wary of the document versions. I really don't understand how that works, and I am fearful I will lose my revisions, so I don't use it. I think the AI is getting much better and I would love to have it have the capabilities found in Lexis AI or a platform like NotebookLM that Google operates. That type of capability would be game-changing and be worth a higher subscription fee.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

8am MyCase organizes case files, enables secure client communication, and handles trust accounting, streamlining my solo criminal defense practice.

  ### 8. Great Interface, Useful Calendar, Billing Needs Serious Work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

The interface is great. The calendar feature is useful. I think the billing needs work (I say this as a timekeeper) in order to improve performance and output. I think the text message feature is great. I would like to see more integrations. I do think the pricing is expensive, considering the use of AI and the need for so many integrations for features not provided by MyCase. There really should be discounts to MyCase users for purchasing integrations that MyCase could easily include themselves. I think support could be better, particularly when it comes to better features.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

I wouldn't say there are downsides. No matter what, the program is useful for business. I dislike how unhelpful the billing and invoicing is. This should be seriously looked at. I say this repeatedly.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They keep files organized. Billing organized. It provides once place for the clients to access case information.

  ### 9. Leads-to-Cases Workflow and Easy Client Messaging and LawPay Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I appreciate how everything is connected with leads being able to easily transfer into cases, being able to message clients via the platform in a variety of ways, the simplification of trust accounting and integration of LawPay. It takes time to learn all it can do, but once you set things up and use it, it is a good all around system.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Not being able to customize more things. Layout changes earlier this year were not an improvement, in my opinion. Time is everything for lawyers and learning new systems and then the systems changing is frustrating. It is hard to set up workflows.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier conflict check that is integrated into the system. The template option is hard to set up and utilize, so I wish that was easier to set up and pull info from an intake form into tempates.

  ### 10. MyCase is great for small firms and solo practitioners

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John B. | Professor--Paralegal Studies Program, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2023

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

MyCase is simple to use and the interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. I really like being able to send out billing via text and email with a link to pay. It was simple to add a user too. Finally, it is affordable and has services and billing levels that meet my needs.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Offer live learning opportunities via one and one video calls where users can learn about features. I know I am not taking full advantage of all MyCase has to offer.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Billing is super easy and I love that I can use it as one stop for accepting payments. I especially like the feature to send bills by text message. That a game changer.

  ### 11. Bottom line, my clients use it and they need 8am MyCase to be easier to navigate.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose Rafael G. | Managing Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

The clients need to be able to have a search feature to search documents, messages and even invoices. Right now, if a client has many cases, or a case with many documents, they cannot "search" for a specific thing on their interface. Also, on our end if I have a corporate client, let's say a bank for whom I handle many collection cases, and I have the collections' manager linked to all those cases, and that collections' manager changes, for any reason, I have to go case by case to unlink the old manager and link the new manager. There should be a feature that if my client is a company, when I change the employee of that company, the open cases of that company should get updated to allow the new employee access, without having to go case by case to unlink and link.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Again, the clients should be able to have a "search" option on their end, like the attorney has. The intake forms should have more choices, the custom fields should be available to the updated, without having to "edit" the case, and There should be a feature that if my client is a company, when I change the employee of that company, the open cases of that company should get updated to allow the new employee access, without having to go case by case to unlink and link.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Billing, sharing documents with my clients.

  ### 12. Easy-to-Use Client Portal and Task Lists at an Excellent Price

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler m. | Law Firm Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

Task lists for employees and a portal for clients. It’s easy to use—there aren’t too few buttons, but also not too many, so it feels well balanced. The pricing is excellent. Support has been good as well, although I haven’t needed to use it much. Ability to download and send client files is great too.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Integrations are lacking. I have never been able to properly integrate with other apps with any success.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cross company data sharing. Task lists for employees. Communication and upload ability for clients. E-signing and leads tabs are great for tracking leads.

  ### 13. MyCase Keeps Everything in One Place—A Must-Have for Managing a Law Firm

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian A. | Attorney, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I love that MyCase has all of my case information in one place. I've been using into manage my firm for 12 years. I am constantly recommending it to attorneys.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

I sometimes get frustrated with the documents templates. I wish there was an easier way to edit them and incorporate them into workflows.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workflows make a huge difference. They are worth the initial set-up time because they literally make every single case go smoother. I'm also less worried about forgetting something or missing something because I know the Workflow will prompt me to remember.

  ### 14. MyCase streamlined our case mangement & billing system leading to faster payments & better service.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa W. | Paralegal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2024

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I don't think I have noticed much of a difference, but we still log in and out of LawPay, so that's why I may not be seeing much change. It is still very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

I have been able to create a comprehensive statement using the case reports feature, which has been helpful; however, I would like to be able to produce a comprehensive statement that has the same format as a regular statement. To accomplish that right now, I have to delete invoices and create one master invoice.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Billing has become extremely easy to manage using this system and it has led to people paying their bills faster due to the convenience of online payments. It also allows all information in a case to be kept in one place where all employees can access it.

  ### 15. Streamlined Legal Management with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2019

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I use 8am MyCase for tracking the progress of my legal matters, billing, and calendaring. I like the tasks and workflow features best. It has a workflow feature that ensures all the steps of each case are addressed, and deadlines are automatically calendared. When I set up a new legal matter, I have workflows with tasks and deadlines ready, providing a framework to complete the work efficiently for my clients. Also, the initial setup of 8am MyCase was very easy to set up and learn.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

The billing syncs with QuickBooks, but sometimes the syncing gets stuck, and you have to remember that the syncing is one-way. In other words, if you delete a transaction in 8am MyCase, you need to manually delete or void it in QuickBooks.

**Recommendations to others considering 8am MyCase:**

MyCase has been great for our firm. The staff and clients love how it keeps case information organized and communications secure.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 8am MyCase for tracking legal matters, billing, and calendaring. It ensures all case steps are addressed with deadlines automatically calendared, so nothing is overlooked.

  ### 16. Great Beta Access to New Features on MyCase

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle W. | CLIENT INTAKE SPECIALIST, Law Practice, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I like that there are BETA testing versions of things before they officially roll out. It's been nice to be one of the first people to see the new things before they debut on mycase, because we've been using it since the spring of 2015.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

There's not much to dislike..... maybe the new rollout of the layout? It was rough on all of us in our office and I think that having a chance to go back and forth between the old and new layouts would have been nice. They did let you go back for a short time and them made the new layout official... where we could not toggle back and forth.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Continuing to keep my clients all organized!! Making sure that we're always on track with our cases and hearings....

  ### 17. Comprehensive Solution for Law Firms with Room for Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I really like that 8am MyCase is self-contained, so I don’t need to get a bunch of different apps or different programs like Clio. I appreciate that they have a robust internal development team that hasn’t ignored their offerings, which means I don’t need to get another subscription for something. They seem to be pretty perceptive to user input, which I find very good, and I really appreciate that.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

I think the biggest thing would be integrating with Calendly since we use it for paid consultations and share the link on our website and with leads. It would be awesome if the MyCase calendar had the same kind of functionality. Another thing I'd love is a way to put in notifications within a case to warn people about certain actions, like not contacting a client or not working on a case further. The chat feature is another area; I used it when it first came out, but I've switched to Slack since it's more robust. If MyCase's chat was like Slack, I'd probably go back to using it. Also, I've heard that clients can't put things into folders, and that annoys some of them and me a bit too, though it's not at the top of my list.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 8am MyCase for case organization, document storage, and the calendar, keeping everything in one place and accessible for my team to work from anywhere.

  ### 18. Incredible Case Management Software That’s Easy to Learn and Grows With You

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Morgan P. | Sr. Paralegal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

Incredible law firm case management software! Best I have ever used. Easy to learn and grows with your caseloads. I highly recommend this!!

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Sometimes it is hard to use on my smartphone. However, it has gotten much better recently. They are always making improvements.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The time tracker is a huge benefit that helps you make sure you capture all billable time for each file. That means more money earned for your office.

  ### 19. MyCase helped MyFirm be more productive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Constance K. | Legal Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

The pop-up and email reminders are the most helpful about 8am MyCase. The workflows I have created are the 2nd-most helpful feature.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

The two downsides are the time it takes to create intakes and getting a live agent for support.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem we were having was verifying if clients reviewed the documents we sent them, and mycase shows me when they were viewed.

  ### 20. A Valuable Tool for Staying on Top of Client Info and Case Stages

I use 8am MyCase in my practice primarily for family law and criminal defense, and it helps keep client information and documents together effectively. It really makes my life easier by virtually eliminating the need for clients to visit the office for signatures, as they can e-sign documents. I find the intake forms invaluable for collecting specific client information, and I really like that they're open to feedback and responsive to suggestions. E-signature and intake forms are especially important for us. The initial setup was super easy, which was great.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Not a lot. And the few things that have been problematic, I've sent messages to support or made feature suggestions on the new forum, and those seem to get addressed.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 8am MyCase to manage client information and documents, which reduces the need for clients to visit the office. It virtually eliminates sending physical document copies, making my practice more efficient.

  ### 22. Streamlined Case Management with Limitations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JoAnne M. | Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I find 8am MyCase easy to use, which is a big plus for me. The organization of files within MyCase is good. It really simplifies billing as our case management system is integrated, and it keeps all the client information mostly in one place.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Large file storage/sharing is a problem for me because of file size limits. Most criminal law discovery videos can't be stored in the case file within 8am MyCase. I end up having to store these files in external systems like a NAS or Dropbox or OneDrive. This means I have to remember to look in at least two places for the full file, and I have to use the external system to manually share the files with the client.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

8am MyCase makes billing easier with integrated case management and keeps most client information in one place, though large file storage isn't supported.

  ### 23. Streamlined Case Management with Robust Client Portal

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I love the client portal feature in 8am MyCase as it significantly enhances communication by providing clients with a secure way to exchange documents, messages, and updates with my office. It's great not having to rely on scattered emails and texts anymore. The portal offers clients a single, secure location to communicate, upload documents, review invoices, make payments, and receive updates and reminders about their cases. This reduces back-and-forth email traffic and keeps a complete record of communications within the case file. I also think the software is fantastic because it simplifies billing for such correspondence. Additionally, from the clients' perspective, it offers transparency and convenience because they can access information about their matters anytime. Compared to Lawcus, 8am MyCase has more intuitive case management and a broader range of features.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

I do wish the mobile app had more functions than just timekeeping. It would be helpful to do a lot of things on the go without having to use the browser. A messaging feature, calendaring, and billing would be great.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

8am MyCase streamlines client intake, communication, document management, calendaring, billing, and case tracking. It consolidates client information, reduces email traffic, and allows for easy billing of correspondence. Clients benefit from transparency and convenience with access to information anytime.

**Reviewed by:** Alexandra D. | Paralegal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I like that everything is in one place and only a click or two away, no matter where I am.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

I dislike the fact that adding documents that are attached to an email to MyCase is a two step process. Sometimes it is a little time consuming.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have anything at the moment.

  ### 25. s8am MyCase Boosts Organization and Time Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary M. | Guardain ad Litem, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

8am MyCase is great for organization and time management. I like that clients can upload documents.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Document upload can only be one at a time. I have had complaints from others due to the time it takes them. Also, it would be great if it was connected to Our Family Wizard like CLEO is.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly time management and billing. It makes everything much easier

  ### 26. MyCase Makes Office Sharing, Communication, and Calendaring Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christen C. | Title Abstractor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

MyCase is great for sharing office data, contacts and communication. The calendar feature is very helpful for the entire office.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Not certain that there is a downside. If so, we haven't found it yet.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having an office of 20 people, it is impossible to know everything about every client...MyCase eliminates that problem.

  ### 27. Saves Time and Streamlines Cross-Platform Documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bradley R. | Managing Attorney | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

For the first time ever, I do not lose time. I am able to work across platforms to ensure that I document my work more effectively than ever before

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

We have trouble with integration of e-mail client software and with use of the MyCase file system access. This is not super problematic; however, the system would be infinitely more efficient if these worked better. I also use Thunderbird as an e-mail client and there is no support.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storage, documentation and billing. On these fronts - formy law firm - it is unmatched.

  ### 28. Great Phone Sync and Client Texting, but Billing and Invoices Feel Overcomplicated

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** TIFFANY S. | business manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

How it syncs with your phone via calendar. Text communication with clients

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Billing software is hard to understand at first and still is. Invoices have to much going on to where its multiple pages for just a few time entries. A lot of wasted paper.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Haven't noticed much on problem solving with out spending more money

  ### 29. Keeps Us Organized and Happy—A Must-Have for Practice Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon T. | I am an attorney, the owner of the firm, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2025

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

It helps me organize my contacts and calendar. I also use it for all of my billing and trust accounting. We have started using other features recently and I want to integrate more into our practice. I have been very happy with My Case.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

My main complaint is when I put an event on my calendar using my app, my paralegal cannot see it on her end. I have to go into My Case on a laptop and assign a color to the event before it shows up on my paralegal's calendar. It is just annoying. I also wish you could do more financially on the app.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Billing would be a nightmare without My Case and it has just overall worked very well for me and my paralegal. We have a largely remote work environment and My Case has helped us keep connected even while out of the office. My clients have overall had great things to say about their experience using My Case.

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I like that the features allow you to hold all client information and firm docs.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

They are solving the issue of being more user friendly.

  ### 31. Keeps Everything Organized—and Keeps Getting Better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

My case helps me keep track of everything I need to keep track of and document the things I need. It is also constantly improving.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Some of the elements of the desktop version need improvement for integration. It is difficult to set up templates and could be more user friendly.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a Godsend when it comes to keeping track of billable hours and note taking.

  ### 32. MyCase Makes Calls, Messages, and Tasks Easy to Track

  ### 33. Great client software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shelbi C. | Paralegal/Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2021

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

The client interaction and the client portal are among the best things we have ever had to help with communication with the clients. The clients enjoy being able to log in and view their documents and information, including their court date and anything related to their case.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

The downfall of MyCase is not able to delete several events from the calendar at once. The look of the case details when printing is not the best, but it does work.

**Recommendations to others considering 8am MyCase:**

I highly recommend MyCase for client software. The software is so simple and easy to use for billing, client interaction, and documentation. MyCase has made client interaction so much simpler. Also, the fact you can download an APP is fantastic.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Any issue I have ever had with MyCase they have resolved. Customer service is there anytime you need them.

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I like that MyCase holds all of our client and billing info in one place.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Very little. I just wish the reporting functions were more detailed when it comes to individual lawyer performance, and that it did a better job showing each lawyer’s participation broken down by case.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It really solves several problems. It's a rolodex, conflict check, database, etc.

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

Streamlines my cases and fairly easy to use and affordable

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

It doesn't seem to work as well as Clio - some of the functions are a bit analog compared to some of my colleagues using Clio and it is easier to find assistants with Clio experience rather than MyCAse however MyCase has GREAT videos and FAQs

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

General case management; billing and invoicing; trust account reconciliation; client communications and data/document storage

It's very easy to use and easy for client's to use. We can share case information with the clients easily.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

I dislike that we cannot share folders of documents with clients. We must share each, individual document which, at times, is time consuming.

We have seen several updates to the software recently that make the experience more user friendly.

  ### 40. User-Friendly Platform with Great Support and Rich Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah T. | Office Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

User friendly. Great support. Has all of the important features we need. Integrates with many different programs which makes the experience even richer. The client end of the platform is definitely a plus.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

There are a lot of features we don't use that can't be turned off or require workarounds. There are little things that seem obvious that could make the experience better but the only recourse we have is making a suggestion.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization of clients and their documents. Client communication via texting and more. Scheduling client appointments and keeping a calendar.

  ### 41. Easy Data Entry and Smooth Transfer from Our Previous System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I love how easy it is to enter information and transfer data from our previous case management system.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Searching for people with common names often causes a delay, making it harder to quickly find the person you’re looking for.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like being able to text clients and let other people view my text messages without having to add them to the conversation.

  ### 42. Familiar, Easy Workflow That Fits My Practice

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

Familiarity with the system. Easy flow for my practice.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

The iPhone and iPad apps really need an update—they’re badly out of date.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Good with general case management and invoice systems.

  ### 43. Effortless Client Billing and Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

I love how easy it is to bill clients and send deposit requests. Sharing documents with clients is easy and fast to do. It's easy to track and bill time as well. The messaging portal is great for clients to get a hold of us, and we love having the option to text clients so we don't have to give out personal cell phone numbers.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

The billing is not always easy to understand. We have a lot of clients that reach out with questions because they don't understand the bill. The deposit request character limit sucks because I need to write out a longer message sometimes but can't. It also requires me to send the deposit request every time I edit it instead of just letting me save it. I don't always want to send a reminder to a client if I need to edit the request.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves tracking our time each day, document management for clients, client communication, and invoicing clients.

  ### 44. Keeps Our Cases Organized and Easy to Find

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Would like to see it set up for public defenders, Dependency cases and Delinquency cases.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps track of all our document's, this makes it easy for all our team members to find and continue to work on a document. I can start working on a document and if I am out of the office someone else can continue or compete the document.

  ### 45. Overall Decent Program

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2024

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

MyCase is, for the most part, user-friendly and has a good amount of features. Clients seem to like the

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Certain aspects need changed/updated like being able to move file folders (dragging and dropping) and other small details. Since it become 8am it seems like there have been some changes that are not ideal, hence my lower rating. For example, any new users do not have the ability to save documents automatically anymore, which is very frustrating and would be a nice feature to bring back. The note taking is really difficult as well. When you go to refund a client after closing out a case in the trust, once you refund them the amount, it shows the requested funds as overdue. In firm documents, you cannot upload multiple files into one folder at one time (this is not the case for case documents). There is no date on the timer function so if you don't save the timer that day, you don't necessarily know the date. When someone makes a comment on an invoice, you do not get a notification. So if someone writes something important you wouldn't know unless you randomly opened it. Also, email integration isn't great-saving documents easily and expanding out email integration compatabilities to Zoho or other emails would be very helpful and provide a higher rating.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MyCase has multiple features and integrations so it can be close to an all-in one practice management program. However, there are quite a few seemingly simple features that 8am MyCase do not have that are frustrating such as not being able to move folders once you create them.

  ### 46. MyCase’s User-Friendly AI Saves Time, and the Tutorials Are Great

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

It is easy to use and accessible from anywhere. It links with other software we currently use.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

Occasionally it will disassociate from link applications.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving our invoicing issue, and reducing the amount of duplicate work that was being completed.

  ### 48. Very User-Friendly and Forgiving Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carrie G. | Legal Practitioner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

It is very user friendly, and forgiving!

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

I don't like the way that the documents are set up. Case documents are what I am talking about. I just feel like there would be a better way to organize, be able to create specific file folders

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My case is great for tracking time. And I really like how my case allows me to have several different timers running at the same time. Additionally, I love the calendar feature. The calendar feature is easy to use, it has excellent reminders.

  ### 50. Maximizes Billable Time and Keeps Me Organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy G. | Attorney, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about 8am MyCase?**

MyCase has helped me capture more of my billable time than any other case management software I have used before. The home screen gives me a clear overview of my day, making it easy to stay organized, and the reminders for tasks and events are very effective.

**What do you dislike about 8am MyCase?**

What I like least about MyCase is that, from the home screen, you can't click on an event in the calendar widget to open and edit it.

**What problems is 8am MyCase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MyCase is addressing the longstanding challenge attorneys face with tracking billable hours. Previously, I would spend many hours each year just managing and billing my time. Now, I can review and audit my hours each day in just a few minutes, which frees up more of my day for actual billable work and, in the end, leads to increased earnings.
