I have used this product and I found it useful for the migration of DB. It is a fully managed DB migration service, which means all the severs underneath are managed and patched by azure only. If you are using the Azure env for your databases and developing or migrating your applications to azure this will help you there. You can easily migrate your on-premises database to Azure databases and use your databases on the cloud. After migrating it's your call to save some cost by freeing your on-premises hardware.

You can use this service to any database, data type and choose between different migration types. It also supports multiple database types like SQL Server, Postgre, Oracle, and MySQL. One more exciting thing I liked about it is It supports the cross DB migrations, like the oracle database to Azure SQL server so this will be a better option to cross DB migrations as well.
