This product has everything, you can really create magic on Maps with this product. From basics of just creating the maps to showcasing all your users on a dashboard what the power of GIS is.

Moreover, if you are really into Software developement you can add your own custom GP(which you wont get in AGOL) services, SOE services, can process high volume of data via spatio-temporal datasets, can allow you to add live stream data and if you are really into Machine learning can also let you to do predictive analysis. ArcGIS Enterprise although customisable, doesnt go with that much of a flow with custom scripts anything open source and ESRI support would not help you.

However the worst issue is Pricing!! Its way to pricy.

infra+ a proper IT team which knows networking+ a GIS team who knows how to get the best out of this product.
