"Great program for anyone wanting to redesign their home!"

What do you like best about 3D Architect Home Designer Expert?

The software allows the user to design and develop their home or office design while allowing them to view their results in 3D and the form of a virtual walkthrough. Love using this software! Unfortunately, it is installed on my fiancee's computer which she has currently with her, so cannot use it at the moment. Always loved designing various constructions there and then doing a virtual walk-through of the building to see how it would look if it were truly built. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 3D Architect Home Designer Expert?

The software does require a bit of understanding of how any AutoCAD software works, resulting in a bit of a learning curve. I had to get used to how the measurements work when entered. Running the basic walls of a building or room is one thing, but the user still needs to know how tall the walls need to be, how tall the doors, what height the windows are supposed to be at, etc. This requires the user to have a basic understanding of architecture and construction. What problems is 3D Architect Home Designer Expert solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is a great way to see how things will roughly look when redesigning the interior of a home. I also used it to roughly design a home floor plan which was originally intended to be used for an eventual house buy project, but that fell through and hence I just used the software now to keep my skills honed. "3D Architect Home Designer Expert Review"

What do you like best about 3D Architect Home Designer Expert?

This software allows me to design a home, addition, or complex renovation. It is very flexible and can be used for many various types of projects. It also helps me produce house floor plans at an accurate scale and other drawings that are suitable for drawing submissions. It creates a 3D model that makes it easy for one to envision the space. What do you dislike about 3D Architect Home Designer Expert?

I sometimes feel that the program is so quick to use with its simple "drag and drop" quality that it sometimes allows the user to be careless when completing the drawings. It almost does not make the program feel appropriate to be used for official project drawings. I also wish that the program allowed for more custom building abilities since I feel as though the options are very standard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would recommend that other use 3D Architect Home Designer Expert to create unofficial drawings that will be shown to a client. I do not recommend that other use this software to create official drawings that will be submitted for approval for construction. Also, make sure that your computer can tolerate this program. I create project drawings and used the 3D model to envision the space and get a sense of its scale. The 3D model is an easy way to show clients what their architectural space will look like.
