## 1Password Reviews
  ### 1. A secure and simple password manager that makes life easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Md H. | Freelancer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

1Password is extremely secure, easy to use, and works seamlessly across all my devices. I especially like how it automatically saves and fills passwords accurately without any errors. The interface is clean and simple, making it perfect even for beginners. It gives me peace of mind knowing all my sensitive data is encrypted and stored safely.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The only downside is that the pricing can feel a bit high for personal use, and syncing can sometimes take a few extra seconds on mobile. It would also be great if there were more free features for small users or families who only need basic functionality.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password is helping me securely manage all my personal and business passwords in one encrypted vault. It saves time by auto-filling login details and generating strong, unique passwords for every account. I no longer have to remember multiple passwords or worry about losing important credentials. The shared vault feature is also helpful for securely managing access among team members. Overall, it improves my workflow and keeps my data safe from potential breaches.

  ### 2. 1Password: Secure, User-Friendly, but Pricey for Personal Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krish S. | Community Coordinator, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

1Password provides a seamless and secure way to manage all my passwords in one place. I really like its intuitive interface, cross-device syncing, and strong encryption that ensures my data stays protected. The auto-fill feature saves time while logging in, and the ability to store secure notes and payment info adds extra convenience.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

While 1Password is excellent overall, its subscription pricing can feel a bit high for personal users. Occasionally, browser extensions take a few seconds to load, and the initial setup for new users might be slightly confusing. A more simplified onboarding experience and flexible pricing options would make it even better.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password solves the problem of remembering and managing multiple complex passwords securely. Instead of reusing or writing down passwords, I can store everything safely in one vault with end-to-end encryption. It also helps protect me from phishing and weak password risks by generating strong, unique passwords for each account. The convenience of auto-fill and cross-device syncing saves time and keeps my online accounts more secure and organized.

  ### 3. 1Password Review: A Secure and Seamless Password Manager for Everyday Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** mithil m. | SAP Basis Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

This software is compatible with all major platforms, including Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, which means your passwords stay synchronized and you enjoy a consistent experience no matter which device you use. The browser integration and extensions are well implemented, making autofill a real time-saver and helping to streamline the login process.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The subscription is more expensive compared to some other options. Additionally, there is no fully free version available—only a temporary trial is offered.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using 1Password, teams frequently shared credentials through email, chat, or spreadsheets, which was both insecure and difficult to manage. With 1Password, there is now a centralized, encrypted vault where passwords can be securely stored and shared only with authorized individuals. In the past, it was challenging to track who had access to specific information. Now, 1Password’s admin dashboard and activity logs offer clear visibility into usage, making it easier to meet security and audit requirements.

  ### 10. Isn't the 1Password app is solid for team password management?

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** pratik j. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

We are using 1Password across our entire organization from past 3 months, and overall, it’s been a smooth experience. Our team picked it up quickly, and we haven’t had any major issues after the initial training. The end-user experience is great—clean interface, easy to use, and works well across devices. My only gripe is that the admin controls could be more detailed, especially when it comes to setting specific permissions. On the bright side, their support team was super helpful during our SSO setup and really responsive whenever we had questions.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

As of now our requirements are getting fulfilled by the 1Password but there is a corner for admin improvements. Along with that if we get some more integrations of secret management in this application we will getting more ease of implementation of management in one platform.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password is helping us solve several key security and operational challenges. Primarily, it addresses credential sprawl by securely storing and organizing passwords, SSH keys, API tokens, and other secrets in encrypted vaults. We’ve replaced insecure practices like shared spreadsheets or manually sending credentials over chat. It also enforces strong password hygiene through the built-in generator and Watchtower alerts for compromised or weak passwords. From an IT perspective, the integration with our SSO provider allows for centralized user provisioning and access control, which has significantly improved our onboarding/offboarding workflows. The audit logs and activity tracking also give us better visibility for compliance and internal security reviews.

**Official Response from Timothy Watkins:**

> Hi Pratik! Thanks for your review. It's great to hear the 1Password support team was so helpful during the onboarding and training of your organization. If you have any questions about admin controls or anything else, feel free to contact our team, or join us on https://www.1password.community/. Thanks again!

  ### 15. Intuitive and Secure, but Room for Enhancement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Commercial Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

1Password stands out for its user-friendly design and frequent usability, providing a clean and intuitive interface that makes managing passwords across devices simple and secure. Setting up the platform is uncomplicated for both individuals and teams, with a quick installation process and seamless integration with browsers and operating systems. Its robust feature set, which includes strong password generation, secure vaults, secrets sharing, and multi-factor authentication support, is particularly well-suited for environments where security is a priority. The platform operates reliably and encourages good security practices without introducing unnecessary complexity.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

For larger organizations, the advanced enterprise controls, comprehensive audit reporting, and granular role-based access customization are somewhat lacking when compared to more robust identity management tools designed for enterprises. While customer support is typically reliable, response times can fluctuate, especially for those not on enterprise plans. Additionally, the pricing might seem steep for individual users, particularly in comparison to built-in password managers.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password addresses the challenges of insecure, reused, and difficult-to-manage passwords by centralizing credential storage within encrypted vaults. It streamlines the process of generating strong passwords and allows for secure sharing without revealing sensitive information. As a result, it helps lower security risks, supports adherence to best practices, and saves time by eliminating the need to remember or manually handle credentials.

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

No sure. So hard to use. But I guess importing pwd is easy

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Your documentation and directions on the web page are so out of date and circular references. You say go to one thing and that says to go do the first thing you were doing and it is impossible to use the barcode or find a secret code to login to my phone on version 8. I have to try to use this for work, or I would have given up a long time ago.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just getting logged in on more than one system. I always end up in a circular reference in your on screen prompts and instructions.

**Official Response from Timothy Watkins:**

  ### 31. Review For 1Password - A very good platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed M. | Student, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

What I love most about 1Password is its ease of use as the interface is clean and simple even for non-technical users. Implementation was straightforward and the setup process didn’t require any deep technical knowledge. Within minutes, I had everything synced across my devices. The customer support team is also impressive. they're quick to respond and very helpful whenever I’ve had questions or needed guidance.
I use 1Password multiple times a day. It autofills login info, stores secure notes, and even helps me generate strong passwords. There’s also a wide range of features from password health reports to secure file storage and two-factor authentication. Its integration with browsers and apps is seamless especially with the browser extension which works flawlessly with most websites.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The initial setup and onboarding for teams can be a bit overwhelming especially when managing permissions across different vaults. Also the pricing might be a little steep for very small teams or freelancers when compared to other tools though the quality justifies it.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password to securely store and share login credentials and sensitive documents within the the people I want. It has eliminated the need for insecure spreadsheets or sending passwords over chat.

**Official Response from Timothy Watkins:**

> Hi Mohamed! Thanks for sharing your review. It's great to hear how quick and straightforward implementation was, and that our reporting options have been an asset at your organization. If you have any questions, or if we can offer any assistance with onboarding and set up, please feel free to get in contact with our team. Thanks again!

  ### 32. 1Password

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arnav Singh J. | Cloud engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

What I like best about 1Password is how much mental space it frees up. I don’t have to remember dozens of complex passwords anymore — I just remember one master password, and everything else is taken care of. It’s super convenient when I’m switching between devices too, since everything syncs automatically and securely. It feels like a weight off my mind knowing my accounts are safe and I don’t have to constantly reset forgotten passwords.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

What I dislike about 1Password is that it can feel a bit overwhelming at first — there are so many features, vaults, and settings that it takes time to get comfortable. The subscription model can also feel expensive if you’re just one person using it and don’t need all the team or family sharing features. And occasionally, the browser extension can be a little slow or glitchy, which is frustrating when you just want to log in quickly.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password is solving the problem of weak, reused, or forgotten passwords — which are some of the biggest security risks today. It generates strong, unique passwords for every account, stores them securely, and fills them in automatically.

  ### 33. Reliable Enterprise-Grade Password Management for Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lakshmi B. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

As a Senior Data Engineer I appreciate how 1Password simplifies secure credential management for both personal and team use. It allows me to safely store SSH keys, API tokens and database credentials and easily share them with teammates when necessary. The browser extension and mobile app are seamless, and the overall interface is intuitive even for non-technical staff.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

“From a data engineering perspective, there are a few areas that could improve.
– Fine-grained vault or item permissions can be difficult to configure when you have multiple pipelines and micro-services with different access levels.
– Integrating 1Password into automated workflows (like CI/CD or infrastructure-as-code) still requires manual work or third-party scripts; a native developer-friendly API or CLI could make this smoother.
– Offline access is limited if you’re working in a secure environment without internet.
These aren’t deal-breakers but they are pain points I’ve experienced while using it in a data engineering context.”

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password helps me and my team securely store and share sensitive credentials such as database passwords, SSH keys, API tokens and environment variables. It eliminates the need to pass secrets through email or chat and ensures that only authorized team members have access. This has improved our security posture, simplified onboarding for new engineers and reduced the time spent retrieving or resetting credentials. The vault structure and browser extensions also make daily usage much faster and safer.

  ### 34. "1Password: Essential for Modern Life"

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

What I like best about 1Password is its combination of top-tier security and a seamless, intuitive user experience.

It’s the "best of both worlds." On one hand, I have peace of mind knowing my sensitive data is protected by a robust security architecture that includes a unique Secret Key and end-to-end encryption. The "Watchtower" feature, which proactively alerts me to compromised passwords and security vulnerabilities, is a crucial part of this.

On the other hand, it’s incredibly easy to use. The autofill functionality is reliable and works flawlessly across all my devices and browsers. I no longer have to manually type or copy and paste complex passwords. This convenience, combined with the ability to securely share vaults with my family, has streamlined my digital life and made managing my online security feel effortless. It’s a tool that works in the background, making my day-to-day tasks easier without sacrificing an ounce of security.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

What I dislike about 1Password is that it can occasionally have some minor friction points that break the otherwise seamless experience.

While the autofill feature works great most of the time, I've run into a few specific websites or apps where it doesn't recognize the login fields. This requires me to manually copy and paste the information, which can be a bit of a nuisance. Similarly, I've sometimes encountered a slight delay in the browser extension pop-up appearing, which can be a small but noticeable interruption.

Another point to consider is the cost. While I believe the subscription is worth it for the security and convenience, the lack of a free tier is a disadvantage compared to some competitors. It means there's no way to use a basic version of the service for free to see if it fits your needs long-term before committing to a subscription.
These are relatively small issues, but in a product that's so focused on creating a frictionless experience, these minor points of friction stand out.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Problems 1Password Solves:

1. The "Password Problem": This is the most obvious problem. It's difficult and unsafe to remember dozens of complex, unique passwords for every online account. As a result, people either reuse simple passwords or write them down on sticky notes, leaving them vulnerable to data breaches.

2. Password-Related Inconvenience: Constantly forgetting passwords, having to click "Forgot Password," and manually typing complex logins is a major source of frustration and wasted time.

3. Lack of Security Awareness: Many people are unaware of security risks like phishing attacks, weak passwords, and data breaches. They may not know how to check if their credentials have been exposed.

4. Insecure Data Storage: People often store sensitive information (credit card numbers, social security numbers, Wi-Fi passwords) in unencrypted, insecure places like spreadsheets, phone notes, or text messages.

5. Secure Sharing: It's a challenge to securely share sensitive information with family, friends, or colleagues without compromising security (e.g., sending a password over email or text).

How This Benefits Me:

• Unmatched Security and Peace of Mind: The biggest benefit for me is the peace of mind. 1Password's secure password generator means I use a unique, complex password for every single account. The "Watchtower" feature acts as a personal security advisor, alerting me immediately if a password has been compromised in a breach or is weak. I no longer worry about a single data breach on one site exposing my accounts everywhere else.

• Time and Frustration Saved: This is a huge daily benefit. The auto-fill feature works seamlessly on all my devices. I can log in to websites and apps with a single click or tap. This saves me countless minutes every day that would have been spent typing or trying to remember my login credentials.

• Centralized and Secure Digital Vault: 1Password has become my secure digital filing cabinet. I store everything from my passport number and software licenses to my credit card details. This not only keeps my information secure but also makes it instantly accessible and organized. When I'm shopping online, I can fill in my credit card details with a single click, which is both secure and incredibly convenient.

• Secure Collaboration: The family plan has made it easy to share things like our streaming service logins or shared credit cards with my spouse without any security concerns. This has made our household's digital life far more organized and secure.

  ### 35. Simple, Seamless Password Saving and Autofill Across Multiple Devices

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I’ve been using 1Password for a while now, mostly because I wanted to stop reusing the same passwords everywhere. The biggest win for me is how simple it is to save logins and then autofill them across both my laptop and my phone.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

There were a few times where autofill didn’t work smoothly on certain websites, so I had to copy-paste manually.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It generates robust passwords and it saves a lot time and efforts to remember passwords.

  ### 36. Okta Group Sync Makes Password Vault Access Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

It can sync password vaults with Okta groups, so most employees get their access through their Okta group memberships.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The recovery function can’t be approved through Slack, and since our organization relies on Slack the most, this is a major limitation for us.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SSH keys and passkeys stay safe within our organization, and I like that they can be split between an employee vault and organization vaults.

  ### 37. Seamless Onboarding and Secure Password Sharing

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I use 1Password to store and share passwords within the organization and with external organizations, which keeps everything safe. I find it easy to onboard everyone in the organization. Most of the use cases we have are all available in the software. We connect via APIs to 1Password from the software application within the organization to retrieve passwords easily. The vendor helped us onboard, making the setup process straightforward.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

NA

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 1Password to store and share passwords securely, ensuring safety. It's easy to onboard everyone in the organization.

  ### 38. Secure and Reliable, But Sync Can Be Slow

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manish D. | Application Development Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

Security wise it feels safe and reliable, though sometimes it takes bit times to unlock or sync

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

At times, this password manager seems a bit pricey when compared to others, and its free version offers very limited features. Occasionally, I experience syncing problems, and unlocking the app can sometimes be slow or frustrating.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password primarily addresses the challenge of remembering and managing numerous passwords. Rather than relying on weak or repeated passwords across different sites, which can be unsafe, 1Password allows you to securely store all your passwords in a single location. This way, you only have to remember one master password.

  ### 39. My Favorite: Keeps All My Personal and Work Profiles in One Place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashok k. | Sales Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

This is my first and personal favorite. I manage lots of profiles for both personal and work use, and the one password helps me keep everything in one place. It makes it easy to handle multiple accounts and use them without confusion.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

I haven’t experienced any difficulties when I was using it.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handling multiple accounts with multiple passwords can make it easy to forget an important password. Also, when I use multiple devices, I sometimes worry that my accounts could be misused. But 1Password helped me with that.

  ### 40. Easy to Use, Great Integration, and an Industry Standard Feel

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

It could have been priced more competitively, especially for enterprise customers.

It serves as a central repository for our passwords, keeping everything stored in one place.

  ### 41. Lots of Security for Passwords

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Doesn't always auto load on websites and sometimes auto fill can be annoying when not needed.

Helpinng to remember all of my passwords providing ease of use and super easy to integrate into most of our logins.

  ### 42. Secure and seamless password management for everyday use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shakhawet Hossain C. | Marketing Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I like how simple yet powerful 1Password is when it comes to managing sensitive information. The intuitive design, autofill feature, and cross-device sync make it easy to securely store and access credentials without hassle. It gives peace of mind knowing everything is encrypted and protected.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

While 1Password is highly effective, the subscription cost can feel a bit high for smaller teams or individual users. Some advanced features take time to learn, and occasional browser extension glitches slow down the experience. A more flexible pricing model and smoother integration updates would make it even better.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password is helping us securely store and share credentials across teams without relying on insecure methods like spreadsheets or emails. It eliminates password fatigue by generating strong, unique passwords for each account and autofilling them across devices. This reduces the risk of breaches, improves compliance, and saves time for both individuals and teams.
