I signed up for a lifetime membership which gives me a small amount of credits to use every month. 1min.AI aggregates so many different AI use cases and models into one place so it's easy to do anything from generate an image from text, speech from text, even a video (which was the main reason I signed up). While it's likely that someone very experienced with AI could find cheaper/more efficient ways to solve these problems individually (i.e. running some of the text generation directly in ChatGPT rather than burn credits here), this app has the convenience of having all these different tools in a single place, and is an excellent starting point to explore the many different use cases for AI. I think of it like a playground--test things out, see what works, and if you want to get serious about a particular use case, maybe explore further a more cost effective way to do it at scale. The main downsides I found are that 1) you burn through the credit allocation very quickly, especially depending on which model you use, 2) sometimes the prompts fail (but it doesn't charge in such an event, which is good), and 3) it can be hard to preview or properly set expectations on what you'll get on the other side. For example, I did a text to video prompt which took more than 50% of my monthly allocation for a 5 second video. The video didn't turn out like what I expected but was still absolutely bizarre and hilarious. Burning through the credits makes a bit of the repeat experimentation slower since I have to put a lot of thought into my prompt since I can't iterate as quickly due to burn rate, but I will say the fact that I'm so eager to continue prompting and creating in this tool is a testament to how fun and entertaining it is to begin with. I dislike that with some of the AI options, I don't have an easily accessible tutorial (visual or otherwise) that can explain to me or give me examples of what certain prompts might produce or generate. So what happens is I investiatge on my own and after a while I sort of start to understand how to better communicate a prompt but there is a lot of "shots in the dark" before that happens. I like the selection, customization, and ease of use (mostly) of 1min.ai. It was the first multi-AI tool that seemed to beat out its competition. It does have its issues. File itegration is antiquated. There's no drang-n-drop. You have to upload your file, then reference it in the conversation. It can be clunky at times. one thing I dislike is the credits the thing really feeds on credits like a a hungry lion sized pug finding a medium rare steak 🥩 from Long horn steakhouse and then there’s no guarantees you'll generate what you wanted and now you lost tons of credits at a very disproportionated rate. thats the only downside However I use 1min Ai to finesse .. meaning when I'm finished using another Ai I would take what I got from there and finesse it at 1min Ai.. overall Im happy with it except for the low low credits you get for a needed task maybe they should double it to add buffer room for any mistakes and encourage users to be more willing to try new things???
