What I like most is how simple it is to set up and just let it run. We use it to trigger a Cloud Function that moves daily SFTP files from our 3PL partners and retailers into GCS, and it’s been very reliable. The configuration is straightforward, and once it’s in place, there’s very little maintenance needed. It does exactly what you expect without overcomplicating things. Google Cloud Scheduler provides a Graphical User Interface for creating and managing jobs which makes it easier to manage and create new jobs whereas the default batch job of linux might need prior technical knowledge to run. The number of free jobs per month is much less, that is only 3, It is good for testing purposes but if you planning on using it you gotta pay for it and it is currently $0.10 per job run after 3 free jobs which in my opinion is costly, whereas linux batch job does not need any fees to run. Best thing i like about is the easy setup, It is very easy to setup with rest endpoint as well as pubsub, also the monitoring part of this is very clear and robust Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the Only problem we noticed in cloud scheduler is a lack of customization, while we are having very complex and specialized scheduler requirement then it become very difficult, oftain we need to create multiple scheduler for that and the as par the pay per use system it become expenssive. I like the feature of scheduling a job based on specific timezone which is cool because we have specific pipelines that needs to be run based on the given time of every region we handle and it's very handy to know that we can easily select the proper timing for that one. The frequency parameter. I know it's some kind of standard with other tools as well to use series of numbers and asterisk to determine the frequency of the job. But it could be improved by adding an option for dropdown options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

after using Google Cloud schedular i don't need to do trigger PUB/SUB manually on different time zone one thing i like most about is available on all time zones Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
