System runtime was one of the key points to use kubuntu, a very light distro on resources so we use that at our main database server and it works very well in high traffic also.

Kubuntu can be a perfect choice for those who want to use Ubuntu but with a different user interface type. This distribution provides a good KDE experience with the solid core of Ubuntu at the center of the system.
