Universal build system

|GNU Make
Make is old, granted, but that gives it an unequalled portability. Also, it is more difficult to use than the tools specialized for an ecosystem (e.g., go build for go), but that makes it a great tool for the projects mixing different environments (C++ with Python etc.).

GNU emacs est un excellent outil

|GNU Emacs
Il est extrêmement polyvalent et utilisable à la fois en mode GUI et ncurses (console). C'est le seul autre outil (l'autre étant IPython) que je peux utiliser depuis une session écran.

One of the best text editor

|GNU Emacs
Emacs is the one of the best text editor and it's free. It's powerful and customizable. Unlike many other editors, you could use emacs most of the systems.
