A great program!

|Audacity
This program is entirely customizable and of incredible quality. The documentation they provide is clear and the interface is mostly intuitive and anything that is confusing is a few inquiries away. The longer I work with this program and realize all of the features the more I love it. You can do incredible things with a cheap mic and this program.
