I have used Wondershare PDFelement as my PDF editing software for my law practice for nearly 7 years. It has all of the practical features that I need to run my business every day without charging me a costly annual subscription. Currently, if you want to request e-signatures through PDFelement, you have to purchase a separate annual subscription to Wondershare's cloud service. I'm hoping that future versions of the PDFelement software will include e-signature requesting and processing without an extra charge (or for only a modest additional perpetual license fee). I really enjoy the tool's ability to convert PDFs into multiple formats such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Additonally, when working with a PDF, the edit tools are excellent. It is easy to use, installation via online download is quick and seamless and customer support is readily available, if required.

This PDF editor has almost all of the features that the most powerful PDF editors have at a bargain price. It features an OCR converter for scanned documents, an easy to navigate word processing-like user interface for PDF editing, many different conversion options (e.g. PDF to Word, PDF to Excel, PDF to image, etc.) commenting features, form fill and generate, data extraction, page manipulation (insert, delete, re-order, etc.), document protection, and handy AI tools for translating PDFs, grammar checking, and other handy functions. Other things I like about the program: the user interface is intuitive, making the program easy to use without a steep learning curve. And it can double as a simple to use PDF reader. The intitial price is very affordable, as is the price for upgrades to newer versions. Customer support is very good. I have not had to use voice support, but email support is thorough and prompt. The best thing is that I get to use all of the sophisticated features other software provides at a huge cost for free. The ability to share across devices - The cloud has helped me in a variety of ways. My Laptop may get switched off but I could just open it on another device without worrying about sharing the document because my Wondershare ID is already present. Considering my field which is Data Analytics, I am a visual person and I look for easy UI/UX features, the platform is user-friendly, and the blue color calms me when seeing red during my exam preparations - all those PDFs looked like nightmares! One more thing I would like to add is that it has an AI Feature and that is something I would want my academic tool to have. Yes, I have used Wondershare daily. Yes, there are a lot of features but they all come with an unreasonable price. I agree there needs to be a profit for the company but at least they could do is provide student offers according to the country's economy.The versions of the software are based on the browser and the environment they are being installed on, For a change it could be based on who and for the usage. The PDF Element software for Windows is amazing, I do love the product and all the features that comes with it. I used to work and then switch to study a PhD and it has helped me in everything and everywhere, with functions tailored to my needs, and with a friendly UI. In one word: Support. The fisrt time I bought the PDF element licenses (3 to be precise) I got the "software assurance" which I renew each year. Oh my god it is a nightmare to gothrough the renewal process each year. It takes to long to get a response, and when you get a reply it is answering only the questions they would like to. You have to insist a lot to get a respose to the queries you may have. Additionally, I know that prices tend to go up each year, but truly, I do believe that they are overcharging. Here is an example: I first bought the 3 licenses on 2020 with a cost of 45 USD for the software assurance. I renew it last year (2024) for 87 USD. Truly, I'm afraid what they will charge me this year. I'm a student and I have to manage between part-time jobs with minimum wage to save money (not only for this), and there is a lack of empathy when a client struggles.

Another quite tricky thing is the use of PDFelement mobile version. I bought it thinking it might facilitate the use of PDFElement in both platforms but sadly after +1 year I can say that it hasn't.

Perhaps, it's me who has a rough luck and may be different to others. Hence, I still encourage people to try the software because it's true that it is great, being aware of support + the link between pc and mobile platforms. It's up to each one of us to decide when enough is enough, and sadly it seems that my patience is done this year. I'm seriously considering to look for another option. I love wondershare PDFElement for the ease of use, the ability to quickly and seamlessly convert PDF to an image or a word doc. I love the ability to combine pdf docs into one file for sharing. I use Wondershare to edit PDF documents and combine them all the time. I love the fact that it is affordable. I also love the fact that they are constantly updating the software to keep up with the changing technology. I love the layout of the software. I was a long time user of adobe acrobat and while it worked just fine for me, I wanted something without a monthly subscription. And after searching and trying out a few alternatives of adobe acrobat, I saw that Wondershare PDFelement performed the best. It has been a game changer for our small RCM team. Been able to combine, compress and convert files to word or excel has made us sooo much more efficient and timely. We have recommened PDF to many of our clients and others. Love the simplicity and ease to implement PDF element. Has many features from Editing to OCR to AI assistance.
