Datrium provides extremely fast storage I/O while doing efficient crash consistant snapshots of our VM infrastructure. This converged systems have demonstrated read VM IOPS well into the 200,000 range across 75 VMs at one time with no performance hit on the servers.

VM restores from snapshots are very fast, but recovering files from a snapshot can be a little complicated. Right now only windows files are easily recovered from standard NTFS disks. Datrium has it's own VSS agent that currently only works with MS SQL and Exchange servers. Database are file level recovered and require a DBA to restore them into the SQL server.

Everytime I have faced any issues with the product and contacted the support the only solution I got is to reconfigure the entire setup.
