Swarmia Avantages et Inconvénients

L'expérience de navigation est merveilleuse. Il peut être facilement intégré avec Slack et GitHub. Les notifications émises par Swarmia sont également très cool, surtout celles qui vous informent qu'un pair a demandé une révision de votre part (le résumé est également excellent).

Je l'ai principalement utilisé comme compagnon pour mes rétrospectives et c'était formidable de chercher des opportunités d'amélioration en équipe tout en observant ces métriques.

Eh bien, il y avait deux choses qui m'ont un peu déconcerté. Le support client est correct, mais un peu retardé (peut-être en raison du plan auquel j'étais abonné, ce qui, je suppose, est logique).

L'autre concerne le "commit squashing". Ce n'est pas une fonctionnalité qu'ils prennent en charge et au moment où je m'en suis rendu compte, nous avions déjà commencé à utiliser une stratégie de Squashing pour nos demandes de tirage, ce qui a fini par nuire au calcul du temps de cycle (plus précisément la partie WIP). La fonctionnalité des accords de travail est excellente. Elle envoie un résumé quotidien nous donnant des aperçus sur notre discipline en tant qu'équipe d'ingénierie et c'est très utile lors des rétrospectives de développement. J'ai appris beaucoup de l'onglet des insights, et c'est le plus utile, à mon avis. Je ne peux pas décider maintenant lequel j'utilise le plus, si c'est l'onglet des insights ou le solde des investissements. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

Pour une petite startup qui dépend des investissements, cela pourrait être un peu coûteux si vous invitez trop de personnes, mais cette gamme de 14 personnes aide beaucoup, alors merci pour cela. Ability to see how your team is doing overall and where the efforts are going. specially like the feature about Investment balance that categorizes the work based on whether its a new work, enhancement, keeping the lights on etc. and Also what was planned and what was not planned. Investment balance can be improved a lot using AI to do finer categorisation. Lot of activities still go as uncategorized. also PLanned and unplanned work can be improved by looking at current sprints etc. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

Swarmia setup with straightforward as it integates with our tools out of the box. I liked the support of DORA Metrics and the different options avaibale to feed the deployment and incident data to Swarmia. The slack integration to know when someone approve/review/comment my Pull Requests on Github is awesome.

The UI is hard to navigate. The sidebar horrible. I honnestly almost never go to the dashboard.

Data is only given as average, while a p50 / p90 / p95 / p99 would be wayyyy more useful to review PR merge time, as there are often 1 or 2 outsider PRs that take ages to merge. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
